  1. ahaha wow! now i get why it's called wildcat! so it's like a baja truck without being a pickup :P
  2. such an amazing set *.* i've got it mounted ion my shelf in the B version too i've also tried to build a studless version of it :P it's not exactly the same...it's just similar lol
  3. i think lego helps people who "born creative" to become creative for real XD
  4. looks cool! how does it perform? looking forward for the video :)
  5. i really thought i already posted in this thread to tell you how much this thing rocks :D probably one of my favourite big scaled cars till now!
  6. you need another small light under the big one :P and there's something with the rear part that makes it look strange...dont know what it is :P
  7. not really....if i have to be sincere there's a small issue with the steering rack.... basically when you run it into objects or dips it may happen that the hit that it gets, makes the steering rack move....i can fix that thing easily and i will do it for sure one of these days.... :P
  8. i think that maybe, to get noticed, one should produce models that could be sold... you know, considering costs of the pieces, considering the "kid proof" thing, considering simplicity of the model itself for example a goal that i'm trying to reach is having a clean chassis, you know, without tweaks here and there...wich usually doesnt merry the power function stuff... XD we should make a "contest" even without prizes, just like a brainstorming session... we should decide the size of the wheels we wanna use, and everyone makes his own "official set" :D
  9. ahahah i was about to type that XD
  10. this guy did that! and it works amazingly well without computer control :D
  11. ahahahah wish my mom and my gf thought the same XD
  12. i think that 1 it's a cool idea! 2 you should try the rear wheels of the pullback buggy
  13. ahah really nice hotrod! thousands of cylinders lol
  14. big day out guys! it works really good...more than i expected :) im editing the video, in the meanwhile have a look at this pic...hope you'll like it!
  15. hi there! welcome to EB no i haven't done the 5+R yet but you just need to expand it...the mechanism is the same and i think that as long as you brace the gears well it can handle any torque :)
  16. lego isn't producing them anymore :\
  17. not really because there's the grey part on the right, wich is holding the gears, that has two pins that would come down and they're really ugly lol
  18. what do you mean? i didn't get it :P
  19. you know what i'd really like to see? some wheel hubs like the newcoming ones that are on the snowmobile but with the U joint inside of them ending in a 2 axle....so i could finally make small front driven axles...
  20. hmmm i think that those you already considered are the smallest that lego produces at the moment...
  21. nice observation but i can assure you that if the MK I was able to go through the snow this new one will fly over it :P this one was more than 800g, with center of mass completely wrong as it was on the skis and a regular track but it was working anyway i directly attached the RC motor to the driveshaft...so 1:1 of course it's a small gear so it doesn't run FAST...but it's pretty quick and has cool torque :)
  22. i've tried many ways to make it similar to the real one but as i don't wanna use connectors for that part there's no other way than this... i've changed the colors so it looks less heavy at sight...maybe i could change the part that holds the suspension into black...
