lol beeing hired from lego would be a dream XD -
Hey guys! As i've anounced you some days ago, i made a brand new snowmobile wich totally kicks the hell out of the MK I i made two years ago... This is lighter, faster, nicer and mainly better built than the previous one :D I wanted to shoot the video before posting it, but i'm not sure there will be snow tomorrow on the mountain where i'm going to shoot it... so for now here come the pics and i'll cross fingers that i won't make 50km uselessly :D Features: - Power functions - Front independent suspensions - Rear track suspensions - Rc buggy motor for drive and servo for steering - Improved track thread - Custom stickers you can see how i improved the track by adding 1x1 rounded plates in each hole of the threads, now it has way more grip also because i moved backwards the center of mass placing the lipo battery under the seat. In theory it should avoid the front skiis to sink in the snow... the rear suspension also helps pushing the thread against the ground... It performs really nicely on the carpet...but i think it will be fine on the snow too :P there's a lot of ground clearance so it could easily deal with 2 or 3 cm of fresh snow. Front suspension is really soft so it should be stable if one of the skis goes on a bump. as you can see in this picture i've removed every atachment that sticked out of the track and the skis to avoid a braking effect once it's in the snow.. I also placed all the electric components quite high so the snow dragged by the track shouldn't reach 'em detail of the track with 1x1 rounded plates :) i hope you'll like it :)

yeah i don't like the rear fork too...i will manage to change it at a certain point :P it's just the same that the 8051 has but it's completely oversize on this model lol -

for the front fork? i won't make them simply because there are no springs in the front...it's hydraulic suspension...springs would look a little bit odd :\ -
Hi there guys! As someone of you may have noticed, at the moment, due to unemployement, i have lot of time to build :) So i decided to start my first superbike not really a superbike....just my own bike XD it's a 125cc but has cool stuff such as the chassis made by MV Agusta and the body designed by the same designer who made the ducati 996... plus it has nice performances for its size...160kmh and 0-100 in 7 seconds for now i've done all the chassis as you may see in this picture the chassis is pretty similar to the real counterpart it has one single cylinder, the fuel tank can be lifted to inspect the head of the engine, and it has rear suspension... now i have to deal with the body.... what would you suggest? should i make it technic or should i pass to the dark side of the building by using plates? :D i admit that making it technic could be really skilled but im so tempted to try the panels to shape it realisticly!

im happy that you like it guys....but i really think you will like more the new version of it with the 56x28 wheels that im working on :) it will have the same functions but it will be hopefully more detailed....the only thing is that i need some pieces to continue with the construction and i'll need a little bit of time to get em :) -

piterx replied to piterx's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
yeah there aren't suspensions mainly because the wheel would have touched the flexible axle over it :) -

thank you guys you're all so nice! but i don't know! there's something wrong with the front bumper that i really don't like but i can't say what it actually is.... i think that tomorrow i'll try putting my hands on it again yeah i agree with that...but i won't dismount em im just too lazy XD it's more challenging dealing with performances and weight distributions :D -

yeah tried also those new tiny panels...everything i added was making it look heavy....maybe i should also take away all those 2l pin connectors on the flexible axles...hmmm -

thank you guys :) yeah i've tried that but it was looking a little bit too heavy -
Hi guys! As i run out of motors and lipo batteries, due to the trophy truck still mounted and the snowmobile wich im going to publish in a week or so, i decided to build a small scaled supercar... It has HOG steering, fake V8 engine and differential...and the usual by now tubolar chassis XD if i have to be sincere im not that happy with this model and i was about not to publish it....mainly because it's not remotely controlled and also because, in such a small scale, is hard making all the details of a supercar...but i've spent some time on it so here it is... i hope you'll like it :)

Snowing season!
piterx replied to piterx's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
yeah that battery box is quite heavy and definitely too wide for small mocs :) when ive built my first snowmobile it was huge and it had the batterry box hidden in the body...but it gave some problems to the weight distribution how does it perform? from the images i'd say it works :D -
Another WIP supercar
