  1. No curves on Fluminox. At 2:00 in the video it is very, very clear. What's with Chima's "mysterious gender" Bird kings anyway (what with Ewald and his garbs)?
  2. Wow the sets show look fantastic! The truck is amaze, whereas the Hurricane Heist is phenomenal! Only one problem... where's Infearno. I know he isn't the Doc we've been looking for, but even in the background of that video he looked interesting.
  3. I agree. I just hope that (when it comes to his title) Owlan isn't mistaken for a Lord by our Guild Leaders...again. He's more or less an "Assistant of the Provinces of Burrium."
  4. You and I think "Japenese anime stereotype" very differently... I wonder how many of the Mixels are going to be voiced by Tom Kenny... The sets themselves look excellent and I can't wait to get a hold of them!
  5. Thus you may be hearing a lot from me in the coming days...
  6. What may just make this movie better? The fact that the movie doesn't focus around a desperate teen and his love life. I find a father/daughter story to be much more gripping. But why the heck would I watch this movie for that reason. The Transformers look absolutely awesome! About "Strafe." Is there clear confirmation that it's a Dinbot? You'd think that with the Dinobots, they'd also add the Predacons as well. Just sayin' Lockdown looks like a beast, what with the head/cannon. (Sorry Transformers Animated Lockdown, I think you may have a replacement fav...) Crosshairs also has a certain flare (read epicness) that I find interesting as well. Then there's Grimlock... This movie looks too good!
  7. The release of those kinds of foreign dubs of Ninjago aired just before the English release of the series, meaning that Season 2 of Chima should start sometime withing the next month!
  8. No. No they won't. February 17th is the VIP release of Metalbeard's Sea Cow, which despite previous reports, is not a Summer set. This was confirmed from a graphic of the Sea Cow on a European version of the Lego Store Calendar. Lego Stores stockers have no idea what are inside their shipping boxes until they are open. The shipping boxes with a future release date on them are not opened until about a week before the release date (someone's gotta build the display set in their spare time!). The Super Secret Police Dropship, Emmet's Constructo-mech, and Benny's Spaceship, Spaceship, SPACESHIP! will release this summer around either late May, or late July.
  9. Exactly. I forgot to mention that the numbers for the Outlands wave also includes the two polybags.
  10. Just found out that Lego will be revealing an exclusive set at the local Lego convention this March.

  11. According to my set checklist on my profile page (which I put together through Brickset when it was available early in the month), there will be a total of 24 sets for the Ice wave (17 for the Outlands wave) including Speedorz and Constraction Figures.
  12. By the way the Nixels are positioned, it looks like Vulk, Krader, and Teslo will be the ones that include Nixels. Either that, or each Mixel gets a Nixel, or the Nixels are randomly packaged.
  13. I'm really loving the ssS. Plenty of minifigs and functions. Now if we could only get that awesome SSP Helicopter from one of the trailers as a set. I'm curious if there will be another wave for this theme in early 2015. There are already a few vehicles that we've seen with plenty of set potential. I think Lego could benefit greatly from it.
  14. That isn't what I got from it originally, but now that you point it out, that may have been what he was implying. I'd like to point out again, though, that the vehicle in the Samurai X cave and the X-1 look nothing alike (besides their red color), so it is very unlikely that Samurai X's vehicle becomes the X-1. When it comes to veggies, all I have is kale... too soft to cause any damage.
  15. It was just an assumption, being that we didn't know which minifigures were included. After a closer look at the Samurai X cave, I'd say that the vehicle in the background is completely different. The answer is what? Neither. I posted a pic of the Samurai X cave from the recent episode that showed an interesting vehicle that we have never seen before. I suggested that it was the X-1 Charger, but after comparing the preliminary picture and the episode image, they are nothing a like. Draiknova was trying to make the point that Kai probably used his Technoblade to form the X-1 Charger instead. I have no doubt he's right, but he was only referring to the show. I have no doubt that the set will just be the red/flame vehicle only.
  16. I stand corrected... and I rest my case. What's strange is that Mungus is the big-fig. How depressing...
  17. You all know Laval and Cragger. The Panther (far right) is named Panthar. The Vulture (right villain) is Vardy The Sabre-toothed Tiger (center) is Sir Fangar The Mammoth (left villain) is Maula and the Phoenix (far left) is Fluminox. These were taken from the set names on Brickset.
  18. Sir Fangar. He's a saber-toothed tiger, meaning he has really long fangs
  19. My Godtfred! I can make a custom Clutch Powers! The more pics I see, the more I want the sets!
  20. Or this is the same song. If there is one thing I know about full length soundtracks being turned into an opening theme, it's that cutting parts of the song and pasting them together (while discarding most of the song) in a flawless way that seems like a totally new song is the norm.
  21. Although skeletally incorrect of a Mammoth/Elephant, the Mammoths have a trunk shaped bone coming out their upper trunks, because (again) the Ice Villains are zombies. That is also the reason why several of them have Ice-prosthetic arms and legs.
  22. For those of you who haven't seen them yet, you can see the two episodes, "The Surge," and "The Art of the Silent Fist," here.
  23. I'd like to break this moment to update the Chima Animal list (this includes video-games and the TV show, but excluding books)(Animals with actual minifig counterparts are in bold). Bats Bears Beavers Crocodiles Eagles Foxes Gorillas Leopards Lions (including unique Lioness minifigs) Mammoths Plovar (he is his own species it seems) Peacocks Panthers (tentative) Phoenixes Ravens Rhinos Sabre-Toothed Tigers Scorpions Skunks Spiders Tigers Vultures Wolves 23 different (sub-)species overall!
  24. Anyone notice the skeletal features seeping through holes in all of the Villains' skin? That's right ladies and gentlemen. Chima is Lego's first zombie war. I'm loving the Fire Phoenix Temple.
  25. *gavel falls* SOLD! But now that I've seen what this year's Chima sets are like... It's gonna be one tough Summer.
