It really depends. The Lego Store is the only store in my area that carries them for the moment. I just hope TRU gets them in before the BOGO 50% ends (US).

News The LEGO Movie: 70810 MetalBeard's Sea Cow
PenPlays replied to Rufus's topic in Special LEGO Themes
I got to hold the box today!! (I know exciting, right?) It is about the size of the Tower Bridge's box, but the Sea Cow feels legitimately packed to the seams. I'm gonna wait out for x2 VIP points for this purchase, but what a wonderful date that will be!!!- 158 replies

My only gripe on that is that the Lego Movie set cards have the relative time period the movie will be available, as apposed to the time the commercials will be airing. I also noticed that Ultra Agents have multiple dates, meaning that TV commercials are a plausible reason as well. I guess we'll just have to see.

Originally it was here. Due to the recent edits, that may need to change. You'll have to PM Kern about it, though. And again, I hate to be a bother, but Burrium is still mis-spelled Burriium on the new map. -
It's good to point out that the tribe we originally were told to be called the Stretchers are actually called the Flexers. I'm loving this theme so much. I'm so glad they are so affordable.

Ninjago: Masters Of Spinjitsu TV Show Thread
PenPlays replied to Lance's topic in LEGO Media and Gaming
I believe that may be the reason why the season is starting so late. You see, Ninjago is moving to the big screen next year. Chima is gonna get the dirty end of the boot when it comes to the number of releases next year, especially when you compare The Lego Movie sets, and their promoting this year. You start promoting the movie while the season airs... $$$- 4,591 replies

It appears to be a new one entirely! Zoom in on the top of the box!

The LEGO Movie Sets News and Discussion
PenPlays replied to Itaria No Shintaku's topic in Special LEGO Themes
For those of you who were hoping that the last three sets for this year were arriving this March. The tags next to all three sets at the New York Toy Fair slate them for an August release.- 2,626 replies

Today at the New York Toy Fair, Lego made a point by adding a graphic on each of the set details tags next to their sets that displays the airing date of TV series/movies. It says that Legends of Chima will be airing from March through April for the Winter/Spring wave and July through August for the Summer wave. Nice to have some confirmation that there will be a season split. (For proof that these times are factual, all Lego Movie sets display a February-March tag. Due to the average amount of time a movie is available in theaters, and the Movie's release date, the time period adds up.)

Book II - Avalonia: Guild sign-up and Discussion
PenPlays replied to Rogue Angel's topic in Guilds of Historica
My area (Burriium on the map) is actually called Lesser Burrium (with one 'i') as Lord Flamecius (Kerntechniker) claimed the name Burrium before I did (and before the first map was made) so it went under many people's noses. Thus his area is called 'Greater Burrium' whereas mine is 'Lesser Burrium.' Also it is important to note that the river flowing next to Lesser Burrium provides trade from the northern regions of Avalonia (and could still technically flow downward with a quick edit). Canonically losing that river nearly destroys our economy in northern fish and tourism... -
The X-1 Charger looks fantastic still! Cool how they used a black basketball net for the thruster in the back. Also, by the looks of it, the engine on the back looks like a slammer for the interceptor bike. It looks like all of the Ninja in the Battle for Ninjago City set have shoulder armor. Wish we could get a really close pic of the Overlord, though.

Those Speedorz are... eh... They did need an update, but this wasn't exactly what I had in mind. Also another thing to point out is that Panthar does not have a minifig! Perhaps he'll be included in Cragger's Fire Striker. This theme is now lower on my 'buy' list. Agents, Ninjago, and The Lego Movie are just too amazing to miss! EDIT: It also appears that three Speedorz sets were not shown at the Toy Fair

I'm just loving this theme. Having unique villains per set makes it all the more interesting. The colors are very fitting for each of the vehicles. Definitely one of the better themes this year!

It is a little underwhelming at first, being that it still is pretty small, but it definitely looks nice ignoring that. I may need to buy another set of three just so I can display the MAX as well. Sorry no pics (busy day) but for only $15 you can build one too!
-
I'll second that lineup. All of them besides Splitter Beast are $14.99 (the former is $19.99). Also I'd like to direct you all to this Toy Fair press release. Scrolling down to the HERO Factory section reveals that the line is between the $9.99-$34.99 range, meaning that the Queen Beast set has been confirmed to be $34.99 in the US. That is probably the maximum I'd pay for it. Good thing that the local Fred Meyer's has HF sales frequently.

I went shopping at the local (and people flooded) Lego Store and picked up all of the Infernites. Zorch is very bland and disappointing, Flain is a SNOT-fest and smaller than I thought (daawww), and Vulk is absolutely adorable! He's my favorite of the bunch. Vulk also includes a Nixel, so I'm very pleased... now to build the Infernite Max.
-
They aren't there is one Nixel per tribe of Mixels. You will only find a Nixel included with Krader out of all of the Cragsters for instance.

Book II - Avalonia: Guild sign-up and Discussion
PenPlays replied to Rogue Angel's topic in Guilds of Historica
So in order to be recognized as a settlement of Historica, I have to meet (at least) the required builds for this challenge? All of which have to be located in Denitor, (lesser) Burrium? Have I got that right? Being that this challenge has no due date... I think it might be time to build Denitor in its fullness! It will take time, but challenge accepted! -
His hair could just be randomly colored, much like the rest of the Agents. I guess we'll have to see.

Isn't Solomon Blaze (who is the clean-shaven blue squaddie (there are no leaders in Galaxy Squad, by the way) the one with the computer over his eye on the quad? Looking at the grey-haired fellow (Curtis Bolt if I remember correctly), Solomon from Galaxy Squad looks nothing like him, but yet has a striking resemblance to the quad rider. Also by the looks of it, Curtis has a mustache, something that Solomon lacks. However, there may have been some confusion with the other blue squaddie, Max Solarflare, as he does have a mustache.

I thank you for the recognition. (*Penkid11 ) By week-long challenges, do you mean that each mini challenge, from plans to photographed build, all have to be done in one week's time? @Kerntechniker Both ends of Burrium stand as an example of a complete Challenge 1 set! An applause for all that Lord Flamecius has strived for! -

They are supposed to be available within the next two weeks at Lego stores. Wal-mart is most likely the place you will find them early (besides Toys R Us, of course) as they occasionally ignore street dates. Not to mention that there have been reports of sightings of the new Star Wars and Chima waves at Wal-mart in some parts of the US. Anyway, welcome to Eurobricks! Why don't you introduce yourself in the respective forum.
