Due to the story implying a leader to all these natural disaster baddies, I wouldn't be surprised if we go one more wave. We should know Lego's complete January 2015 lineup by the end of August (with some possible translation mistakes, per the norm). We won't have any preliminary images or any of the rare official images of any sets until about the end of September. This excludes whatever Lego announces at San Diego Comic Con for 2015, as we'll have official images of those from the start. By the looks of it though, we won't be getting any info on Ultra Agents.

Please reiterate. You mean to say that you saw the Constraction figures there? Or did you accidentally click the wrong sub forum to report a new set sighting?

2015 The LEGO Movie rumors and discussion
PenPlays replied to just2good's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Having built the SSS, I can confirm that Benny builds the actual Spaceship, Spaceship, SPACESHIP set in every single scene he attempts to build. He starts from the cockpit every time, which also happens to be the first part you build in the instructions. I would love to see more Neo Classic Space stuff with Benny. Preferably a 2 in 1 (from space-base to spaceship, anyone?), but I can go either way. -
Sykor's Ice Cruiser is on the US Toys R Us site. If I recall correctly, US Lego Stores should be getting Worriz' bike in August. Do we have any info on whether we'll be getting the Frax Poly as well?

If I may ask, what do you mean by voice swap? I personally experienced a problem with the sound of "The Final Battle" Season (a problem that even in recent copies hasn't been resolved). It's too elaborate to go into detail explaining it, but I'm curious if you and I are having the same experience. The US won't be getting the DVD until August 5th.- 4,591 replies

A little something I notice in the episode "Codename: Arcturus" It looks like the Hageman Brothers have debuted as some not-so-happy movie goers. A very nice touch.- 4,591 replies

It's funny how that little lovely has passed by you for nearly seven months (usually nothing gets past you, especially if its of this sort ). The FOLD put it on their Youtube Channel in January, and it has been one of my favorites since. I must say though, that the new remix fits the X-1 chase scene really well! Speaking of the X-1 Ninja charger, I love how well it was translated from set-to-show, as the actual vehicle in the show looks exactly like the actual model (for once, although some of it's "extra features" i.e. computers and transformation made it seem much, much cooler.) Can't wait for more of the show! Only two more episodes to air, and probably another three month long wait (Why keep us waiting!?! Why!?!) EDIT: Full Digital is different from what The FOLD has done in the past. It's not a favorite yet, but I'm sure that it will grow on me over time.- 4,591 replies

And false information rears its ugly head! Sakurai says, in today's Pic of the Day, regarding Lucina having her own page on the Smash Bros. website: “Along with Robin, Lucina joins the battle!! Her physical ablilites are identical to Marth’s–it must be in her D.N.A. However, where Marth’s power is concentrated in the tip of the sword, Lucina’s attack strength is balanced throughout the weapon, which might make her easier to control. She’s also a little bit shorter than Marth. With the Wii Fit Trainers, the male and female Robins, the Villagers, and Little Mac, varying their appearances and voices works just like selecting alternate color variations. However, whenever there is even a small difference in abilities, that character gets an actual roster slot. That is why you can select Lucina individually.” (NOTE: Little Mac does not have a female option (or that we know of, however it is unlikely). He does, however, have a "Wireframe Mac" skin that will most likely feature a different set of voice clips.) Another bit of information is that the Japanese Magazine Corocoro (famously known for its new Pokemon leaks) will have a mega issue in August that will feature all characters and stages for the 3DS version. Although the stages are exciting, there is a little something to be said about the complete roster reveal. Back when Brawl was near release, Corocoro revealed "the entire roster and stages" as well. However, they excluded several hidden characters that were revealed in due time after the release. So, while we will be getting some more characters, there's still a chance that not all of them will be listed. August 12th is when the next issue of Corocoro is released. We may also get an "info dump" from Nintendo on the same day so that all information is consistent between sources. Please also note that both the 3DS and Wii U versions of the game will share the same roster. The hype train keeps chugging along! But soon, we will be at our Final Destination.

At the moment, we can't really be "sure" of anything. Heck we may even get Lloyd with a new outfit that will match next years Ninja... again. Speaking of new minifigs for the Ninja (spoilers contain info about the most recent episodes that aired in the US)

Upon closer inspection, it appears that Chrom will be the latter of the three.
-
If he is coming back, I can see him being reworked. In the professional scene for Brawl, he is considered "above God-tier." This usually results in him being permanently banned. There has been many complaints on that factor towards developers. My opinion? Meta Knight is the only veteran that I'm absolutely clamoring for!

Here's the video. So many Falcons (Falchions if you prefer ). Yay! for the return of my N64 Smash main! In case some of you haven't noticed, Lucina is a Marth skin. Notice how she isn't labeled as a Newcomer, and how every single one of her moves is identical to Marth's (Marth in Smash 4 is identical to his Brawl version). Not convinced that this skin is possible? I'd like to direct you to the alternate gender skins for Robin and Wii Fit Trainer. Robin is a nice inclusion, and the least likely of characters I would have expected to see revealed today. It appears that he has different types of tomes (a la Olimar's Pikmin). The Leven also only appears to activate when his tome abilities are inactive. Chrom is still a mystery I'm afraid. If you notice, he attacks very similar to Ike's Great Aether, however Robin somehow automatically joins in. It's possible we're getting a tease of another completely new character similar to the Mr. Game & Watch tease at the end of the Pac-Man reveal (He may have a Final Smash that targets a single character, but also calls in the other characters he hasn't targeted to help him do more damage). It is also highly likely that he is an Assist Trophy that does what I mentioned above. Also near the end of Fire Emblem: Awakening (don't worry, no spoilers) Robin and Chrom are very close. Chrom may simply be summoned whenever Robin's Final Smash is activated. I'm sure that if we remain hawkeyed on Sakurai's Miiverse Posts, we'll get more information on Chrom specifically. Speaking of Sakurai's Pic of the Days... Sakurai's words exactly: “In order to make Rayman’s trophy, we asked Ubisoft to share their references. We were expecting to receive 2D drawing references for Rayman, but to our surprise, they sent us data of a brand new 3D model that they rendered for this game!! And that was how this trophy was created. It takes a lot of work creating each model, so it’s wonderful that the creators contributed their own efforts!!” Don't get your hopes up! Wonder Red from Wonderful 101 was also revealed to be a trophy, and being that new characters are revealed with a trailer, it just seems unlikely.

Review Review: 70816 Benny's Spaceship, Spaceship, SPACESHIP!
PenPlays replied to Rufus's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Only the stripes are missing on the spinning dishes... Besides the box specifically states that it's a "Palace" rather than a complete representation of the "Land in its entirety." I think Benny's Spaceship, Spaceship, SPACESHIP was specifically designed to be movie accurate as the appeal for a set that is not only accurate, but also is the center of one of the most hilarious and memorable parts of the movie would sell really, really well.- 228 replies

Forgive me for bumping this little thread back up to the surface, but... In the July/August issue of the US Lego Club Magazine, there is a two page spread (pages 8 and 9) that feature the Fire vs. Ice wave. While the entire right side of the image (page 9) focuses on the new Speedorz sets, the left side (page 8) features the CHI Ultrabuilds of Fluminox and Sir Fangar. Both are plainly in view with no obstructions (they are very clearly shown). I am now rather curious of what Lego's next move is. We have a couple advertisements now (not to mention a full product page) of these figures. Do they really still plan to keep these out of the US?
-
This makes sense though, as the sets are officially due out in August in the US (and will be trickling out into stores within the next couple weeks, I'm sure). By the time they air (August 9th) they should be pretty prominent throughout the States.

What? WHAT!?! YES! This is a happy day for the child inside of me. These pictures have been taken with a grain of salt, but dang that grain is just too salty to be fake! Color me hyped! It is still completely possible that the two themes will be going side by side next year. That is if these images are legitimate. I mean they have Chima and HERO Factory running at the same time, so why not with HERO Factory and Bionicle?

Saw Transformers Age of Extinction today. I may just be brave enough to say that it was the best of all of Bay's TF movies to date. I went with a long-time friend/Transformers geek and we were both thoroughly satisfied with it as a whole. There were several nods in the plot that alluded back to many of the older Transformers shows/stories, but if I spoke of them, I would spoil y'all the fun. One of the things that I've always hated about the movies were the humans. Teenage/early adult love that goes nowhere right from the start, i.e. the girl is just there as eye candy. This was the first in which I was, almost literally, rooting for the humans. The father/daughter story worked far better than I ever thought it would. Stanley Tucci made the movie near the end. I was also surprised to see that each of the main robot characters had very unique personalities, unlike the previous movies. Even the older characters showed likeable charm that they didn't have before. Every one of the Autobots (and Lockdown the bounty hunter for that matter) gets a badass scene each for themselves. Each of those moments being unique according to each of the bots personalities. Usually the individuality of the robots can only be found in the TV shows and comics, but this... this fourth movie is what they should have been doing all along. If there were only one Transformers movie you were to see, this is the one! Fantastic!

Post about Cartoons and Anime you like
PenPlays replied to Peppermint_M's topic in Culture & Multimedia
I just finished watching Black Butler. I was recommended this anime from day 1, from the guy who got me into anime. It was fantastic... until I watched the second series. Turns out that friend only wanted me to watch the first series due to the fact that the second series has no manga counterpart (meaning that it has nothing, literally NOTHING, to do with the story line that matters). It really ruined the experience for me as I watched them back to back. Now to eagerly await the continuation of the main story coming out this July in Japan... I've started to watch Tsubasa: Reservoir Chronicle it has its highs and lows at the moment, however I've heard that it gets really good later on, so I'm sitting tight for now. Now I eagerly wait for the premier of RWBY this July. No need to wait for a dub of that! -
To state, again, what Aanchir and I have been trying to say: There is a whole other season planned for 2015 before the Movie. It's also important to note that there is a rumor circulating that the Ninjago Movie (slated to release in 2016) will be a completely different story from the established TV Universe. I hope that isn't the case, but I wouldn't be mad either way. I just hope that we get a Lego Movie's amount of sets for the Ninjago Movie. Heck, if it's a completely separate story, who's to say we won't get some spinners?

Below are points that imply that not all loose ends are tied. If you have yet to see the the remainder of Rebooted, read at you own risk. There are MAJOR SPOILERS below... Certainly there's more, but that's more than enough for another season.

The X-1 Ninja Charger was the only set of this wave that I paid full price for. It is worth full price, and the build is entertaining as well as eye-catching when it is finished. As you've already mentioned, LOTR343, the lack of a new Kai print is disappointing, but it does include two masked Nindroids (and a "Stealth-Nindroid" for that matter). Being that neither of them are General Cryptor, it is a rare case for these sets.
-
To add on to that, being that it really isn't spoiler material, the armor the Ninja wear is Stone Warrior Armor that somehow adapts to their outfits. Quite an interesting way to make the whole story flow together. On that note, I have a feeling that the new DK book coming out will include either Kai or Cole in their Stone Armor, judging by the last exclusive minifig (Kimono Lloyd) being an exclusive of the common outfit available at the time. EDIT: A Stone Armor Jay is also on that list, as he does not have a unique torso.

With the recent happening in that episode, I'm really excited to find out where Ninjago will be heading from here... Now that I think about it, we should have names for all sets coming out this winter by the end of August. Maybe that will give us an idea.
-
They're set for an August release along with the likes of HERO Factory and Star Wars. You should be able to find them at Toys R Us sometime in the middle of July. It is, however, different in the UK. If I'm correct, both portions of the Summer wave were released at one time for them. And as a reminder, in case some of you Eurobricks frequenters haven't checked the Action Figures Forum in a while, the US will not be getting the Legends of Chima Constraction Figures.
