  1. Each season (exluding Rebooted) begins with "filler" episodes. You get itty-bitty bits of story. At about the halfway mark of each season is when the story really begins to develop. I was surprised at this originally, but now Ninjago is one of my favorite TV series that's still going.
  2. Most likely, there won't be any hints on the next new tribes until the end of the season. I'm pretty sure we will know what they are before then, as we will at best be getting set names AND (again, at best) preliminary pictures before the season ends. Crossing my fingers that we'll have that information soon.
  3. Of course. Just because it isn't official, doesn't mean that we can't speculate.
  4. There is one thing correct about that poster's assumption. We will be getting a list sometime between now and October, judging by previous years, that is. It's just the number of sets that should be taken with a grain of salt. However, I would not mind having a seven set Winter Wave at all. Here's hoping that lovely list shows up soon!
  5. No. To rephrase what I said before. That poster wants seven sets. They have yet to see a list of sets and are posting their "wishful-thinkings." We still have no confirmation whatsoever.
  6. Stick with the show, starting with the pilot episodes/movie. Most of the books are just supplementary stories and do not have much of an effect on the TV show's storyline. Some of the books aren't even canon to the story at all. The books can be interesting at sometimes, but you'd have to make the verdict on your own.
  7. That poster is saying that "The list for Ninjago 2015 is coming soon... I want seven sets." Due to the poster having EXTREMELY poor writing/typing skills, it is really confusing unless you trawl parts of the web flooded with children. The post is entirely irrelevant to an "official list," and is as fan opinion as it gets. Purely child-level speculation. It does make one curious though. What with the Ninjago Movie coming out in 2016, will Lego produce more sets for next year's wave? Or will we be sticking to a small scale Action Theme for now?
  8. I think you just made me a Chima X Ninjago believer.
  9. I thoroughly enjoyed that. Maybe more than I should have.
  10. I'd love to remind everyone who is passing through this thread that... The Ninjago Movie comes out September 23rd, 2016 The TV series will continue with sets like normal, however.
  11. If I may chime in, I have to be completely honest, the Defender's "skeleton" (according to Leewan's MOC-ups) are actually taller than the ROCKA Crawler set released this Summer. $10 for a Defender doesn't seem that far fetched, seeing as ROCKA Crawler is set at that price point. Regarding the size of the Toa. I understand everyone's speculating that Tahu, Kopaka, and possibly Onua are Titan sized, but beside torso shells on Tahu's legs, how is everyone gathering that idea? All six Toa look very close in price count. The "box" sizes on the colored display image of all six Toa look identical (even the Lord of Skull Spiders has a similar sized "box"). Don't get me wrong though, I would love see Titan sized forms of the Toa.
  12. I seem to be unable to find a link myself, but you are better off waiting for the official premier. The episode "leak" was filmed off of a television screen. It also happened to be the first time the person filming watched the episode with their family, so they are constantly chattering with each other (with plenty of language). Again, I would wait. Seeing as you're new here (Welcome to Eurobricks ), I'd like to invite to chat about the show in it's respective thread here in the Culture and Multimedia forum. Regarding the Garmatron set on Amazon. It tends to fluctuate in price while it is "currently out of stock" due to other sellers who are adding and selling product for their suggested prices. Soon this will be the only option to purchase the set after the set retires. It is set to retire soon. However, Amazon does tend to discount their sets as well. As of the time I'm posting this, the set is $10 cheaper. At $29, it is an excellent deal!
  13. Er...Legends of Chima has been confirmed to continue into 2015. This isn't surprising. I also should say that this post has literally no need here, as nearly everyone who frequents the Ninjago thread frequents the Chima thread as well. These kinds of posts should stay in their respective threads. For those of you who don't know, a new Ninjago game for the Nintendo 3DS has just released. You can see some trailers and discuss it here.
  14. Did we ever find out a date? In my being knee-deep in Nintendo games, not even I found out. Apparently it's already out!
  15. More this (maybe with a preliminary stamp plastered across the front) than this. Something like the former is somewhat common, depending on the popularity of the theme and the one who's leaking the information. Sometimes something like this ends up being all we get. I must admit that the actual display case is a treat for this early in the year! Of course, if there is an official announcement between now and October, than how lucky will we be?
  16. All of this Bionicle 2015 confirmation makes me want to jump up and down... Childhood: Estimated time for complete reboot--5 months and 3 days "Official name" leaks begin showing up mid-August at the earliest. Expect preliminary images sometime between mid-September and late October (who knows? We may even get official images early!!). We won't get any images for "hard-to find" sets until closer to their release (only certain themes get the pleasure, though...)
  17. Found some better images of our little lovelies! Check out Lego's new album on Facebook with some images of what was available to view at SDCC 2014.
  18. Say... Whatever happened to Kruncha and Nuckal? Maybe that's a better question for the TV show thread.
  19. *sniff* *sniff* I smell new mainstay characters, or an exciting collection of anti-heroes. This should be interesting, seeing that this is the first time Lego will have two sides of the same minifigure "species" going head to head in many years. Well...outside of the usual "gotta catch the bad-guys" stories like City Police and Ultra Agents that is.
  20. Speaking of the panel, do we have any info from it?
  21. Stick weapons can be held in both hands of the minifigure. With enough patience (and an insanely good eye) you could potentially balance the weight of the the Speedorz, making it so that you can race your Speedorz without them turning due to lop-sided weight. Speaking of which, just2good, do the power-upz (i.e. the trans-blue wings in the Frozen Spikes Speedor) effect the Speedorz any more/less than the power-upz from previous waves?
  22. Did we ever get official confirmation on the fact that Cutesy Unikitty is exclusive? I mean they did pass out Bard the Bowmens (not to mention Azogs last year, seems to be a theme with Lego and The Hobbit) that aren't exclusive to the SDCC. I wonder if someone would get a straight answer if they asked Lego about any of these SDCC minifigures being available in the near future. I more or less just want to know if I need to budget some extra funds for my Unikitty addicition
  23. Not exactly. Having seen the last two episodes (bad quality off the screen, with cursing children and an uncle that won't shut up!) there is very, very few vehicle sets that Lego could do if they were to do another wave. A couple come to mind, but they're only three Nindroid vehicles (not enough sets for another wave). Lego usually changes directions with Ninjago yearly, so that's another factor. Besides, (and as an example) Chima has no new sets coming out for the rest of the year, even though their TV show will be lasting well into November.
  24. Very unlikely, seeing that Lloyd and Zane use their torso design from that scene in the Battle for Ninjago City set. If they've already got those out, then it's a bit unlikely that they would continue that design for the rest of the Ninja into 2015. Unless of course we're getting another surprising wave of Rebooted (which I wouldn't mind if it's done right).
  25. Allow me to add onto that. We will not know any exclusives (i.e. "hard to finds," Polybags, Direct to Consumer sets). So, say if Ultra Agents, or any other theme for that matter, is going to have an exclusive set available at Toys R Us (or any other exclusive carrying store), we won't have any information on it until really, really close to its release.
