It's sorta relevant, I suppose, but that's for a different thread. I'd also like to point out again, that the Earth Dragon motif on Lloyd works, due to the fact that the Golden Dragon had the same head mold. It's a nice touch. I'm just stoked that these minifigures are real! I checked one of my local Targets today. Apparently due to them being on sale without having to buy another set, they sold out rapidly. DC comic fans are going to be buying the heck out of these seeing as Super Boy is one of the figures.

We also have names for the other "Generals" (the harness wearing minifigs) in the Battle Packs: -We know that Li'Ella is in the Lion one. -General Crokenburg of the Crocodiles -General Sirox of the Saber-Tooth Tigers -& General Icerlot of the Ice-Bears The other soldiers are un-named.

That is extremely interesting! I wonder if these will be hidden somewhere in stores. I'd love to pick those up. Strange that they don't show all four sides of the box. Apparently there's 30 pieces, meaning that Lloyd...er... DX and Fire Lavertus aren't the only two there. What's interesting is that both of them have unique printing. Not to mention that they used the Earth Dragon motif for Lloyd... a motif that matches the Golden Dragon identically! Lavertus' scarf is also a nice touch! EDIT: All items have free shipping, and that mini-figure pack, although $15, can be added to the cart, no problem.

Ninjago: Masters Of Spinjitsu TV Show Thread

Clarification regarding the last names (besides Jay's)? Technically it goes both ways. We haven't gotten clarification if it is just their actor names, or their real names. I think I'll just stick to calling them by their first names, and that's it. Ed and Edna's full names were featured during the credits of one of the Rise of the Snakes episodes. You were right that the funny video was released far after the reveal of the Walkers' last name.- 4,591 replies

Those are their "actor names"... It was used as a comedy device (it worked). Jay's last name, however comes from the shows credits, as both Ed and Edna sported the name.- 4,591 replies

Uh... Smith? Bucket? I was pretty sure these were fan-names that got too widespread. I am aware that Jay's last name is Walker (the puns... Jay-Walker ). On the subject of last names, there's a possibility that Zane's last name is Julien, as most doctors (Dr. Julien in this case) are addressed by their last names... Zane is a robot however, so this fact might not stand due to him not actually being "human."- 4,591 replies

A wave of sets typically take about a year to be sold. Out. Best guess is that you have until June-July 2015.

That teaser!! If I may say, there's a good chance that the animators use previous Gi wearing Ninja when they test out footage, and then apply the correct Gi later. Using previous models to test things is not unheard of in the animation business. I'm really loving the fighting choreography! Bring on 2015!!- 4,591 replies

Keep in mind that if the Scooby Doo theme is based on the new show, it may have a new character that will feature this new mask. Regarding Star Wars, there are so many diverse characters in that world. That mask may be a character in the VII or maybe even Rebels. Again, I'd love it if the Ninja had new, tattered outfits.
-
So you mean that it for sure isn't a minifigure from the mysterious "spooky theme," a Star Wars 7 minifig, or a new character yet to be revealed in Nickelodeon's TMNT? I wouldn't go so far to say that this is for certain a Ninjago 2015 mask. I wouldn't mind it being one, but I wouldn't go as far to say that if is for certain at this point. Only a couple months until Toy Fair everyone!! THEN we will know for sure.

According to FBTB, these sets are going to 20% on Lego S@H: Hover Hunter Ninjacopter Nindroid Mechdragon Battle for Ninjago City

Yes. There was a Russian video detailing the timeline, the fact that the show had a story bible, and character designs (most of which were preliminary, but awesome all the same). The important piece to note is the timeline, which stated that the series would last for three years, 2015 (obviously) being the final year. HOWEVER... You are right with the potential plot device that can be found in the fact that Chima is a floating island, and that there is a whole world below to explore.
-
You can find them in episodes 40 and 41 (the Series Finale) of the TV series. Simply search the internet. The episodes should be easy to find.

I was disappointed to find out that Bladvic's Bear Mech and Cragger's Croc Copter look like complete rehashes. Cragger's Croc Copter look nearly exact to Lavertus' Twin Blade (it's not a good set, either). Bladvic's Bear Mech looks like it can transform into a car/truck of some sort, but it looks nearly identical to Icebite's Claw Driller. Also, Flinx' Ultimate Phoenix CAN be considered the Phoenix Legend Beast. I hope the series doesn't continue, as the amount of closure we got from these last to episodes of the show was perfect. No need to do more. I loved Chima in its own way, but nothing lasts forever. I'd also like to congratulate Lego for finishing their first television series that was fully completed with closure. Galidor and HERO Factory have been forgiven.

Yes the series is over. The 2015 wave will be the last wave. Which means we have a new media centric action theme on the way! Onto the episodes: WOW! For a show that started out so iffy, THAT is how you end a series. Congratulations Lego, you have now officially completed, with closure, and entire television series. Galidor and HERO Factory have been redeemed. I absolutely loved these episodes. Besides the rushed plot point that was the Fire-wing Harnesses, I really loved how they went back to the centric part of the series: friendship. This was something that we lost story wise in the middle of in the series. I really wish that the Lagravis/Lavertus reuniting would have been more dramatic, but oh well. I also thought it was interesting that all of the features of Chima that appeared man-made (or in this case, Phoenix-made) had actual significance this entire time. I also need a happy Fangar minifig ASAP. Now here's the real question. How are the Chima fans going to react when they hear that Chima is done? I mean when Ninjago ended, I was told that my nearest Lego Store, as well as the customer service line were swamped with calls either asking whether Ninjago was gone, or begging them to bring it back. It worked. Now we all know that Chima got better after the first few episodes, so I'm really curious if they might take a step in this direction as well. I wouldn't like it very much, due to the serious amount of closure we got (revealing that the world of Chima is a floating land is as "closure" as you can get!). It would feel anit-climatic, similar to the "Final Battle" of Ninjago. Now we're nearly two years beyond that "Final Battle" and the villain still stands. I love Ninjago, but it kinda irks me that they continued it. It's a small grip though.

There has been discussion on this already. It's pretty unanimously agreed that it's a place holder. Besides, who would want a repeat of the Serpentine, since doing them once is enough (Anacondrai are a different story, as they weren't exactly story important in 2012).

Yes. It is bigger than I originally thought and the minifigure quality is fantastic. The Overlord is one of my new favorites. The set is absolutely riddled with features, and, if I may say so myself, is quite the sight to behold. This is gonna be one of those sets that are going to be a bit harder to find near Christmas. In other news, I found the Dareth poly! It's called "Battle Pack" on the receipt. I found it behind the customer service desk. I asked and they kindly sold it to me. One cannot behold all that is Grand Sensei Dareth. The Dareth minifig is so worth it.

There was a Russian video full of preliminary Chima stuff detailing a "three-year storyline." The video even specifically said "2015" when referring to it.

NO! Now we have to wait longer! YAY! More time to focus on other themes! What other themes will not be available this January, just2good? Or should I wait for a YouTube video.
-
It's 50/50. We might get them in January, and then we might not. Different regions have different release dates these days. I heard that the UK was getting Speed Champions in January, which is similar to what happened to Chima this year. Lego officially confirmed that January is the release period for Bionicle in the US. It wasn't just anybody.
-
It's always been a possible idea. Last year, Legends of Chima didn't show up in the US until March. Also, Speed Champions (the new racecar theme) is slated for March in the US as well. It wouldn't be far-fetched. Disappointing, but not far-fetched. To note. According to the US December Calendar, Star Wars, The Lego Movie, Disney's Princesses, and Friends will be available in January. Bionicle will be showing up then as well. However the January release date is relative, as many stores get the sets, and put them on shelves a month early. That was the case for Ninjago last year. However, it wasn't for the Lego Movie, even though they were both slated for a January release. I hope that at least one of these action themes wait until March for release, because I only have so much cash...
-
Secret sources? You mean the Russian concept video that circulated three years ago? To be honest. If it's Doctor Who, there is still little chance that I'll get into it. However they will sell well, and when I don't "feel" for a theme, that's all I could ask for TLC.

Wait a minute... BLU-RAY! I feel the sudden urge to pick it up... but the wait for an entire series DVD collection is stronger. I'll be patient, then buy them for three bucks if no series collection is released. (Note: this is speculation on my part. There is currently no "complete series DVD" coming.)- 4,591 replies

I listened to the interview where that came from, and it's just too early to know. The answer given did not directly confirm it, and the way it was worded sounded like it may have just been an accident. It... wasn't denied much either, and there are signs pointing toward it too... But seriously, if this movie is going to be separate from the TV show (or if this reboots the TV show, not in the "Rebooted" way (oh please no!)) done as an indirect sequel to the Lego Movie, I'm not going to be satisfied. I'll see it and most likely love it, but I will not be satisfied. If this is entirely the truth, I will be disappointed. I'd wait another year of production for this movie if that means that this... mistake... would be corrected. So much lost hope!
