Ninjago: Masters Of Spinjitsu TV Show Thread
PenPlays replied to Lance's topic in LEGO Media and Gaming
We've known for a while that there are several Jade Blades. Someone uploaded the videos! Each little video ends in some interesting Trivia. A brief summary of worthwhile information is below. Cole -Cole attended Marty Oppenheimer for only two days. -When Cole was a child, his friend jokingly called him "Cole Bucket." -Cole's favorite color is orange (just wanted to point out that another bit of media spotlighted this fact) Jay -When Jay uses his electricity powers at maximum, he produces 1.21 Gigawatts Kai -For the first two months of his life, his parents called him ash. -Kai forged a weapon called a "swingana"-half yo-yo/half sword. There is no trivia on Lloyd or Zane. Kai, Jay, and Cole's videos are the character videos from the Ninjago website.- 4,591 replies

It's been just over a month since the Smash Wii U released in America! Such a wonderful game. Who here has been collecting Amiibo? I've been having such a challenge in trying to collect them all. Nintendo really doesn't get the whole "demand" thing with the Amiibo of the more obscure characters. It'll be such a lost opportunity if some of the Amiibo don't get new shipments into stores.

I hit Tigard and Sherwood. They were 9.99 on my end. Interesting. EDIT: Love your Lego Store display by the way. Never did I thought I would see those works of art "in the brick."

Probably went to at least on of those stores, and picked up the Protector of Stone. They also had the PoW and PoE. So... umm... Mardi Gras?

I didn't buy them. I didn't jot down the DPCI either. Sorry! For what it's worth, I found both of them again at a different Target, along with the Lion and Ice Bear Battle Packs. The Ice Bears were an instant purchase... until I spotted Bionicle in the corner of my eye. So for what it's worth, they are limited, but they are out there, along with pretty much every "January-release-window" theme besides The Lego Movie and Star Wars sets.
-
For what it's worth, I found the Braniac, Sinestro, and Black Manta sets at my local Targets. Didn't bother to check the price tags to confirm any USD prices, but the sets are out there!
-
They are actually called "The Crawlers." That's a nice little short. Also, in case no one could tell, The Crawlers are in this short as well.
-
Found Icebite's Claw Driller and Vultrix's Sky Scavenger at Target. Prices are $49.99 and $39.99 respectively in USD. Vultrix's Sky Scavenger was not detailed as a Target exclusive. I found that it was interesting that it took us a while to find images of it, yet it isn't an exclusive as far as I can tell. May the hunt begin!

I'm assuming Spring due to Speed Champions officially releasing then (and the German product catalog), and the fact the Ninjago and UA aren't coming out in January. The Store Employee did not communicate this too me. He only said that they "were not getting Ninjago and UA in January."
-
Because they are coming. Just not in January. I mean, we were teased this year's new Minecraft sets for nearly a year. Speed Champions also got a reveal on Lego's Twitter, stating that they will be available in March. It's not something foreign when Lego promotes sets.
-
I hope that Lego decides to go with a Ronin sub-theme later this year. That way we can get a fully fleshed out Tournament wave, while still getting Ronin in as well (think of it like how Star Wars Rebells exist alongside the core Star Wars line)

Because Ian James Corlett voices them both. Chen does have some differences though. He sounds outright mad (crazy), whereas Skales has a very cunning, and sssslithery sounding voice. But who says crazy can't own a noodle shop?- 4,591 replies

Europe got the Outlands wave of Chima in January, as the US got it in March. The Chima Constraction figures weren't released in the US altogether. I'm sure there are a few more example of different release dates per region, but none come to mind right now. What I think is interesting is, Lego is already releasing info on the new sets on the UA website. Ninjago isn't getting the same treatment, yet neither of them are set to release within the next month.

I literally laughed out loud. My family looked at me like something was wrong... Didn't we trust this guy with legitimate info at some point. You also raise some really interesting points. You've really thought about this, JayWalker.- 4,591 replies

Yes, but it also says that Germany will be getting Bionicle in February. That was another theme that I asked about, and Bionicle is still on schedule for January 1st in the US. There is also the possibility that the entire retailer catalog is for all of Europe as well, but patience will clear the waters soon enough.

I asked a Lego Store employee today if they were going to get Ninjago and Ultra Agents this January. The answer is no. (This is in the US, by the way). If it at all validates it, the employee appeared to be consulting a list before they gave me an answer. This means that Ninjago and Ultra Agents 2015 will getting a worldwide release this Spring. This is kinda nice. That means I can focus on buying sets from other themes in the meantime.

Sorry for the double post, but: I asked a Lego Store employee today if they were going to get Ninjago and Ultra Agents this January. The answer is no. (This is in the US, by the way). If it at all validates it, the employee appeared to be consulting a list before they gave me an answer. The wait for the new TV series just got a lot harder... March 2015, here we come!

There were just so many wonderful things that happened in the Korra finale. It will truly go down in history. So long Korra. You will be missed. -
Someone needs to look a few pages back

Probably because they are literally smaller in size. Let's keep in mind that the Ninja DB X is going to be just about as long as the Ultra Sonic Raider is wide (without wings unfolded). Despite how spectacular it looks, it isn't that impressive in size.

And no one seems to recognize "everyone's favorite" UA baddie, Toxikita... in roller skates? In all seriousness, though. This is a really interesting development. I wonder if they are there just for fun, or if they will have any significance?

That's Mottrot. Dang that Croc Copter looks awesome. It appears that it is a dropship that can carry Laval's buggy around. I'm amazed at how large it is! Bladvic's Bear Mech is the one I'm disappointed in. It looked so big an bulky in the show. Now it looks like it has a huge hole in it's belly. I hope that whatever it transforms into is cool. The Mammoth Base is interesting. It appears that it is based of a portion of the Ice Fortress from the show, but a Mammoth motif instead. Would have loved to have another Mungus, to be honest. Rinona not having a Fire Suit of some sort is also a negative.
