  1. I need this polybag 'cause I'm a completionist, and will have 4 Airjitzu Gi Kai's by the end of this year. Just got jealous of all of the hopeful minifig fans, and thought I'd, humbly, chime in.
  2. Apparently, the Cole's dragon set, is the same as that large dragon in the show...
  3. Fairytail Dang that battle felt like it was so far into the show... 150 episodes later...
  4. I have always hated Kalus. He was always the shoe-in, wanna-be bad dude who plays by the book. They never developed him, and I never batted an eye for him. Finally. Finally they gave him the chance to develop him, and I actually care about him now! It took one measly episode to change my look on him. I can't say this episode was the best, but it certainly left a mark, and opened tons of doors for the story to go through in the future.
  5. So I finally found the drawing of Samurai X Cave Chaos and... I'm calling shenanigans. This kid probably drew a picture for the fun of it, to get more press for himself. He drew something that would be worth about $60, as opposed to the $120 it's been allotted to have.
  6. Episode 10 is not the season finale as there is only a bit of resolution, and a good portion of the Summer sets haven't even shown up yet. The Black Knight Mech and Burnzie are the only things they've really shown so far. Chima did a really good job at hiding it's Summer sets in the past. However, it SERIOUSLY bit them in the butt, as only three episodes existed for six months, and, dare I say, was a primary reason the theme did as bad as it did. Ninjago, however, showed off it's entire first year's lineup in a matter of 40 minutes, so, you know...
  7. What I liked most about your build Sci, was that it looked like it could be officially produced as an official set. Sadly, if you aren't 12 or under, regardless if Lego explicitly says no age range, you're basically automatically disqualified. There was a little while there in my teen years where I would try to enter the competitions just to get a free Lego set here and there. The winners' MOCs didn't just look like trash, they were trash, and I never understood why I never won, until I realized that age was probably the major factor. It makes since too, as parents would quickly complain if only people 12+ won.
  8. Reminder that Lego clearly ships out their new product several weeks in advance. It just depends on whether or not the store acknowledges the release date that's printed on the boxes.
  9. I can think of Lime Green, Azure (since Nya is officially Maroon) or some other light-blue, gray (although debatable with Cole and Zane, as well as some of the book/Lego Universe characters being canon or not) and orange (as Skylor is Flame yellow). Speaking of Skylor's color, I would more or less think of her as the "yellow ninja" as having a ninja that's minifig skin-colored... well... An issue here is these corresponding ninja's elements, as most are already taken due to the elemental masters. Yes. I can see Lego retiring the theme if it has truly lost it's luster at some point in time. However, I do want the series to continue. Ninjago has the chance to grow up along with its watchers (a la Adventure Time) as well as reboot itself (completely) in order to appeal. Also, a time-skip isn't out of the question either.
  10. I have to say, I'd love for one of Lego's action themes to go on the water (as opposed to near it, and under it). I'd love to see some really stellar Nexo Knight water-craft. EDIT: Now that I think about it, a Nexo Knights Submarine would be pretty sweet as well.
  11. *Mistake (Miss-tah-kay) I think that little Nelson is a representation of the fans, as there is really no need for him to be there in the first place.
  12. No Not really. I did swap out Pythor's (2012) arms, because they made absolutely no sense. That's as far as I'll go.
  13. Between My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic, the Transformers Unicron Trilogy (Armada, Energon, and Cybertron), and Inuyasha (just to name a few) the cast of Ninjago, Nexo Knights, Lego's most recent Star Wars shows, and the original 3 Bionicle films have been sprinkled all throughout some really fan-freakin'-tastic stuff. Another fun tid-bit, Alessandro Juliani plays as L Lawliet in the anime. He's the voice of Vakama in Bionicle 2 and 3, as well as Clay Moorington in Nexo Knights. As much as I love Scott McNeil, there are so many other actors that can play fantastic villains (having just looked at these lists). Hope to see more variety in the future. It also makes me very eager for this actor's union to be used for the Ninjago Movie. All of them are so deserving to be a part of that. Basically anyone who's still a part of this actor's union from all of the series mentioned here are all free game for Ninjago (as long as the show's budget permits), and that makes me very excited for the series' future.
  14. Why would I ever want to do that? You could crack the torso doing that!
  15. Now imagine if someone had every single set, and kept every single minifigure. Sure having lots of main character doubles may be a pain, but when you set all of the duplicates together (especially the villains) you'll understand that life is so much better with an army at you hands.
  16. Reminder that the lucky numbers is 10 cents per piece/100 pieces for every $10. This set beats that by nearly 66 pieces. (total's out at about 9 cents per piece, actually). That depends on whether one or both of them are exclusives to begin with. Minifigures for at least one, if not both sets were shown at the Toy Fair, whereas any minifigures for the Nexo Knights exclusive sets were not. Whichever one of these is the one that isn't an exclusive, expect something within the next couple months (neither of them release until August). When it comes to exclusives, though, it's either through ad leaks, or website (of the exclusive retailer) caches that they usually show up in. That typically doesn't happen until about a month or so before the set releases.
  17. You mean like you just did?
  18. Only the D2C sets that have already been officially revealed by LEGO would be there. So the Brick Bank, Firehouse Headquarter, the Classic Bat Cave and Assault on Hoth should be (and were) the only ones there. It's true that they do tend to get larger exclusives when it comes to Summer wave exclusives, but only time will tell. As far as we know, the set might not be out of its final stages of production, and thus wasn't shown. That's where the assumption of it being an add-on to the Temple came from. However, I'm pretty sure that the Airjitzu have been selling just as good as the Ultimates from Nexo Knights.
  19. That small shack is the blacksmith shop from the Temple of Airjitzu set. Unless they really want to produce that little building in this set as well. I mean if the set is based off the scene where the Ninja fight Nadakhan, there is very little aside from minifigures (and that building) that can be done.
  20. I'm expecting collapsing pillars, and Nadakhan, is the Airjitzu Battle Grounds is most likely based off of the final battle from Skybound.
  21. I've asked a manager at one of the more larger LD retailers, and they stated that it was due to extremely over estimating the amount of production. It's why the Fun Packs on S@H, Gamestop and Amazon have had them at 50% off for a while.
  22. So... um... HD (or SD/not cam job) finale when?
  23. Keep in mind that Store Exclusive sets are not shown at the Toy Fair. Clearly, both the Samurai X Cave and the Airjitzu Temple Grounds are both exclusive sets. Or perhaps Lego is actually censoring a spoiler for the show for once. Who knows?
  24. One could also ask, based on previous shorts, why can Chen's chair do more things than the amount of buttons it has? Riddle me that.
  25. This year's shorts are the Pirate's backstories!!
