  1. Now hopefully it comes with their hair. I can't wait for this to hit stores. Also regarding prices. I didn't know that it was referring to GBP. Pretty sure the value of GBP has been in flux due to recent current events, and Lego is adjusting prices to reflect that.
  2. Well thanks to the press release for NYTF we know that Knighton Castle is $129.99 Also, there are a total of 19 sets this year, excluding the Combo NEXO Powers Series. We've seen them all. So that's it for the Battle Suits (I'm not surprised).
  3. What's worse is that, due to the fact that it's made of the same material as the Friends hair, we would never be able to get it in translucent colors.
  4. (The horse's molecules are omnipresent. They live in all threads...) I understand the want for power and for variances in system design in capabilities as well. That's why I don't understand company purists. I can comfortably say that I love my Wii U while also praising everything that is the PS4. Gotta stretch out those legs, and dip those toes into different waters. Never know what you might find.
  5. Unless you're looking at licensed themes, Duplo, and City, no. Except for the occasional set with too many specialty parts, price-per-piece (10 cents) has been met or exceeded very consistently.
  6. The thing with the Batman movie is though is that, although it is licensed, the property of "Lego Batman" is theirs. Being that the movie is produced by DC and WB with Lego, they are more partners than borrowers of a licensed property, which brings up a whole new ball game when it comes to using characters from any property involved. It's part of the reason why next to none of the TLBM sets have minimal to no "license tax" Now on Ninjago's part, it's Lego's IP that is being worked on with WB's assistance on the matter. Lego treats Ninjago like a "license" although the sets are more affordable for their content because the property solely belongs to Lego. TL;DR: They're most likely going to be similar when it comes to price ranges.
  7. You know you were warned about over-obsessing on Dr. Who by a mod right? The dead horse is still dust if not just molecules now with how much you've beaten it.
  8. Not at all. My complete Legend of Zelda game is getting another, smaller, yet complete Legend of Zelda game within less than a year. It just so happens that this completely separate story takes place in an area that will be accessible from the start. It's not filling in holes, it's adding extra content on top of the complete game already included. I mean they reused assets from Ocarina of Time for Majora's Mask, yet either game is often contested as the best game of all time, yes?
  9. *Disregard this comment and take heed of the wisdom of our Bothan spies.*
  10. Not just the Egghead Mech though. The Waynemobile seems like a must due to it's scale (which would work as a $30 set, unless the supposed Wayne Manor/Jokerville includes it) I'd also appreciate a flying Scuttler, but I'd be somewhat content with the Scuttler we have. I also wouldn't mind more sets that fleshed out the power plant, as the little modules so far simply don't do the movie justice. We are also so close to getting a complete TLBM Rogue's Gallery. C'mon Lego. You can do it!
  11. I know, it's just even I instantly thought of Scavenger from Revenge of the Fallen the moment I saw Cole's mech. It's the one wheel. Simply put, there is nothing new under the sun. Anything created now is almost always inspired by something else.
  12. Well they aren't wrong. I'm also really curious about the whole High School aspect.
  13. I've already seen the movie and even I feel spoiled (click the eyeball icon above the post box before you post, please). Why can't everybody just acknowledge the two week free period after a movie comes out. We do it with Star Wars, why not a Lego Movie?
  14. And they removed the season 3 episodes. Season 2 is also incomplete, but all that matters is Episode 20 at this point, so...
  15. Seasons 1 and 2 are being added in full and in English to Lego's YouTube as we speak. This makes me happy on so many levels. EDIT: They added episode 20 and they're uploading Season 3 episodes!! Methinks that due to their scattered nature, these weren't supposed to hit the internet.
  16. It will bother me to no end knowing that those Mechs aren't going to be to scale in set form. I smell Construct-o-Mechs Mk. 2-7+ on the way. I guess I'll just have to MOC them then, because they are just... just so, so beautiful. I will have them all and I will cherish them forever. Calling it now, that boat in the trailer is Destiny's Bounty and will be the D2C for this movie. I'm really jumping the gun, but that ship needs to be full scale or I will cry.
  17. *Indecipherable screeching noises* Oh my goodness does this movie have so many wonderful things going for it! The characters look great (Zane better not be smiley like that the entire time). Story premise looks simple and fun. But... But the Mecha THE GIANT MECHA!! Also, regarding TLNM's setting... (Lego Batman Movie Spoilers below. Seriously.)
  18. Split set discussions. Like for TLBM sets and DC Super Heroes sets.
  19. Please split them. We don't need to have TV show discussion intermixed with movie discussion. I mean the Lego Batman Movie thread is separate form the DC Super Heroes thread, yes?
  20. Oh how much a distaste I have for the hardcore drones this fanbase has created (99% aren't on this website, thank goodness). Lego does something exciting, like, oh I don't know, pour millions into the brand name for a movie, and the Ninjago Weeaboos act like their world is going to end. Trailer is tomorrow. Don't compare the two until you see the movie.
  21. Primarily comedy relief. But, yes, we should wait for a trailer. What was there to be broken or fixed. The Movie has nothing to do with the TV show, and no opinions on it's themes or characters should be made from comparisons directly with the TV show, as they are two, completely separate, completely unrelated entities. However, as it turns out, one is inspired by the other, but they are in no ways meant to be the same thing. They just happen to have the same name, and character names. Think the reboots you get of shows like Transformers and GI Joe. The movies are unrelated to the shows, but inspired by them. Same concept here.
  22. Just got back from seeing the movie. Spoiler free opinion? It's a fantastic and fun movie. Not as good as the Lego Movie, but still fantastic. Definitely go see it.
