  1. Exactly! Hypothetically, of course, if Lego were to cancel Lego Dimensions, they would do so after the sets that have already began production (Beetlejuice, TTG, PPG) have been revealed and launched. Lego would then at that point say "that's a wrap." Why? The moment Lego makes an official announcement of the game's death, the adoption rate for the new Dimensions sets would half at the least. All stores would then instantly put them on some crazy sale (exactly like Disney Infinity) in a desperate attempt to get the product off their shelves (poor Toys R Us). Again. Hypothetical.
  2. If it hasn't been announced from the source, Lego will play the denial game. Unless of course the game's cancellation has yet to reach the social media level yet of their offices, which is also likely. This of course is if the game's cancellation is upon us (to be impartial).
  3. Main Theme without lyrics. First minute of modern Sonic gameplay.
  4. To reiterate. There is a panel at SXSW that isn't being streamed (the people who head the even won't allow it). The information on Sonic Mania and Project Sonic 2017 will be revealed during the panel. Following the panel, the guys from Sonic's social media team will recap everything on a live stream. The information will most likely be shared as the panel is going on as opposed to the live stream, but, hey, if you want something comprehensive, that's the way to go. EDIT: Streams will most likely happen as Periscopes (why!?!) (from head of Sonic the Hedgehog Twitter)
  5. Suit yourself. Don't say I didn't warn you for being too hopeful.
  6. No. It's correct. You can read back in the thread if you'd like.
  7. Nope. There haven't even been rumors for one either. Just speculation that hasn't gone anywhere. People who don't read back a couple pages may have gotten confused during the speculation though, but all of it has been baseless.
  8. Nope. Are you saying that this mech is bad? It's kinda' Ninjago's crown jewel in mech design.
  9. They're hand wash only (I found Batman in the US, so I will assume that they're all the same when it comes to tag information). Also... Do not bring HoT spoilers to this thread until the US has finally had their release. Please keep all spoilers in a spoiler tag*, identified as such, otherwise keep them in the show thread. Please understand that even though the episodes are out in a different language, a large majority of us will be waiting for it in English, and we ask that you respect our decision to do so by keeping this thread spoiler free. *highlight what you want "spoilered" and click the eyeball icon at the top/middle of format bar.
  10. A fellow Lego Mech connoisseur... You're going to love the Ninjago Movie this fall.
  11. Just so we're clear. BZP reported that Nya's mech is Cole's. Being that she wears a gray gi in the movie (with no blue accents), it makes absolute sense that someone who is uninitiated with Ninjago (like most of BZP) would confuse her mech with Cole's. I mean their description matches Nya's and everything. They just got the name wrong.
  12. Look at Emmet's Construct-o-Mech in the Lego Movie and then look at the Lego set Construct-o-mech... ...that much.
  13. Okay. Let's talk sets. Unless it's not evident to some, Macy suffers being in a theme that is primarily directed towards boys. Make those sets the most affordable (for the target audience) to force them to get the girl character, right? Such was the case with the Thunder Mace, and thus is the situation with Macy's Bot Drop Dragon. Now at a glance, the only function aside from stud shooters is in the title of the set. There's a little jet pack latched under the robo-dragon that Macy's Squirebot can stick to. The Stone Stomper hoverboard is the ultimate form of "meh." But take of the little jet pack, and my opinion on the set is a complete reversal. This is the only entire vehicle that can attach to the Battle Suits, and that is just the coolest. At that price, day one. I was not expecting very much from The Heligoyle. What we got is... satisfactory. It's a weird amalgamation of a dragon and a gargoyle with propeller wings. It practically speaks for itself. The minifigs are what stand out in this set, what with this being the cheapest set so far with a fully armored, generic Clay, but also what appears to be the only Harpy that will be available this year (should an exclusive show up and prove otherwise) and a unique Bouldron. It's a simple, yet cool set. Axl's Rumble Maker is an interesting case. You see, every character this year gets one drilling vehicle and a vehicle based off their coat of arms. This set counts as both, for Axl. It's massive and visually striking. Both drills rotate as they should (bless the Thunder Driller making this possible) There also appears to be some sort of folding function around the cockpit, but it's a bit tough to make out. Underneath that portion is a treaded potion of the vehicle that appears to work similarly to the horse in Lance vs. Lightning (being that it separates and can attach to the torso-on-up portion of a Battle Suit. This also includes another Rogul, which is appreciated. Now I really didn't know how I felt about the idea of Aaron's Rock Climber being a buggy, but after seeing it, it's massive, and wonderfully sleek. The cockpit fits two, which is great for the Aaron's Squirebot (green hat for KKII Banteras soldiers FTW). It's not quite clear what sort of Battle Suit connectivity this set has, but methinks it has something to do with it's spoiler cannons. Lord Krakenskull is on of the highlights of this set, and reminds me the Witch King of Angmar (from Lord of the Rings for the uninitiated). His rock toad... thing is also really cool if not somewhat adorable. And for the big bad, we have the aptly named Stone Colossus of Ultimate Destruction. It fits in wonderously with it's Stone Monster counterparts. It's massively impressive and has a crown that can be fitted with several of the Forbidden Powers by the looks of it. It has incredibly sturdy looking legs, and there are some interesting arm functions as well. But, really the big highlight here is the minifigs. Macy has an awesome Mace. It's a cheap set with Jestro. A new variant of Clay. And dang, does General Garg look awesome. If there is anything that Lego has been absolutely killing this year, it's the flagship sets (the $120+ sets). Arkham Asylum. The Ultimate Batmobile. The Ocean Monument. The Jungle Exploration Site. So of course it was to no ones surprise that Knighton Castle was going to be just as impressive. To start, the minifig count on this set is insane. A robed King Halbert and his personal Squirebot are very much necessary. Robin is also included in his Black Knight attire, as well as, surprisingly, Hamletta, Lance's pet pig. The small siege machine for the Stone Monsters is acceptable, but not the best. This is a set for the good guys to shine, however. This all culminates with the fact that we're getting a Battle Suit scale variant of Merlok 2.0 that, despite it's... interesting... design, is much appreciated. The inclusion of beds for the Knights is great but lacks some of the varied rooms that Jestro's Volcano Lair sported. It also appears that the tower of the Castle might function as some sort of shuttle. It has thrusters by the looks of it. Can't wait to pick this one up. Really digging this wave. Ties up this year's sets quite nicely. I just hope that we get at least one last hurrah for the third year before it goes the way of retirement (unless it gets a fourth year, of course). Oh thank goodness that's coming. Now all we need is Ava. The King and Queen would be awesome as well.
  14. No, because then no one would buy the dedicated Nintendo Consoles that keep the company alive. No console sales mean no Zelda for anyone.
  15. A necessary sacrifice for more armored characters/building apparatuses/weapons. Also necessary for more rare/unique minifigs.
  16. ^This There will be a second wave I'm sure. Won't be until next year, but I'm sure it'll come.
  17. Come to think of it, wouldn't the chain of command be: Monstrux (Creator) The Stone Colossus of Ultimate Destruction (deity?) Lord Krakenskull (Lord) General Garg (General) Summer set opinions on the way, btw. Tonight should be the night (finally!).
  18. And now to stay away from this thread for the next... oh, who knows how long until the season airs... ...or until gamejutzu brings the spoilers to the set thread, where the eventual user with no sense of spoilers will ruin everything... again...
  19. And what of the Kragle? It's Krazy Glue, and they had to print stickers of their logo for the Lord Business' Evil Lair. That wasn't a brand deal?
  20. Not sure if anyone has mentioned this, but has anyone noticed that the Tracker I uses the Nexo Knights Combo shield to get it's shape? I found that rather clever.
  21. Won't know until they're revealed I guess. There have been discrepancies between Toy Fairs before regarding what sets and boxes are available. For instance, Star Wars Episode 8 being at Nuremberg but not at NYTF.
  22. According to Toy Fair Standees, the Stormtrooper Commander is $25 and the Scout Trooper and Speederbike are $55.
  23. Guys, on a numerical keyboard, the number 4 is below the number 7. A slip of the finger, and, boom, $149.99 is suddenly $179.99. As all 18 TLBM sets have been announced, and typos have been pretty common in Toy Fair press releases, it would make sense that that's the case.
  24. I'm correct in saying that all we're missing now is Jakob, Bolobo, Neuro, Gravis, and Camille, right? I also wouldn't count Lar as he was a one-time shoe-in to hide the fact that Nya was the ninja of water before it was common knowledge.
  25. *SCREAMS* But now back to being no longer content, because I still want Jakob, Bolobo, Gravis, Camille, and Neuro.
