    Every series I like to get my favorites a little early. This time I ordered Gingerbread Man, Yeti and Barbarian from Europe. Can't wait!

    OK, I never go crazy for requesting a character as much, but I'd LOVE LEGO to make a Howard minifigure. Exclusive or whatever.

    Since Virtruvius' staff looks like a chewed-up lollipop, you think they'll include one with every set he's in? More seriously, it'll probably require a new mold on top of something like Gandalf's staff.

    Best tribe would be a horse tribe. They'd all have different colored coats (Purple, white, pink, yellow, orange, blue, etc.) with different mane designs (Poofy, wavy). They'd be short; 'little' you could say. Each would also have special talents/abilities to make their character unique for the television show. Just something I thought up. :P

    Exactly like PoP, Lone Ranger is now considered a box office bomb. I wonder what that means with the sales of the sets. PoP stayed on shelves for a long time, I wonder if we'll see the same fate happen to these sets.

    Lennox is probably the most generic lion, Razcal is the raven, Ewar for eagle, Crawley for crocs, Winzar/Wakz for wolves, Gorzan for gorillas I suppose. I also chose some of these based off the recent minifig pack released.

    Ah yes, I remember the early release of Series 8. I bought the Diver just a few days after it was revealed! Goooood times. :) (20 more were to follow!)

    Indeed. If the original Mech had a Transformers-esque gun, it would make the figure perfect. At least I think so, because the figure reminds me of a homage to Gundam and G1 Transformers.

    Great review! However, does it really have 475 pieces and costs 49.99? Seems a little small for that.

    I'm guessing a molded head will be used for the Gingerbread Man. And between him and the Elf I wouldn't be shocked if we got a candy cane piece as well.

    I was able to get the S8 Diver from Europe by the end of July, so that could even be the earliest we see them this year. And the pictures for Series 8 came out around mid-July so I'd probably expect them then. Europe*

    Don't worry, LEGO advertises it on their June flyer so I'm sure it's just a late bloomer and will come out with the LOTR stuff on June 1st

    The potion room has a set of keys which I thought was cool. Sneak into the wizard's cave to get the key for the princess' prison. :)
