  1. I'm surprised The Office got selected after so many rejections but I guess Lego has realized how lucrative these sitcom sets are in the past few years.
  2. Hoping Snow White is able to be approved in the final stage. It says the builder hasn't been able to "tick off all the boxes needed to move forward" so I don't know what that's code for. I didn't consider the minifigure limit but you can't really have the Seven Dwarfs cottage without all Seven Dwarfs. Perhaps Snow White could be cut if she was guaranteed a spot in a potential CMF Series 3 (alongside the Evil Queen or Witch).
  3. I think most of the peripheral Mickey Mouse characters from the shorts and comics would be a better fit for the current line of Mickey Mouse sets rather than the CMF series. Especially since there are still hundreds of classic Disney characters from the movies who would only likely be represented with the CMF series. I'd be very surprised not to see Pete show up in a future Mickey set. I'd also like to see Clarabelle Cow, Horace Horsecollar, Clara Cluck, Max Goof, and Clarice. A Three Caballeros set with Donald, Jose, and Panchito would be great as well.
  4. I honestly feel like Apprentice Mickey is too iconic a design for Disney to put randomly in a CMF series or a regular set. They might save him for a D2C set like they did with Goofy. Especially since the main members of Mickey's gang have all been released by now so they'll want some rare chase minifigure. It could work in a Fantasmic-inspired set, with Maleficent as a dragon and Mickey battling her. The Liberty Belle Riverboat, that features all the characters at the end, could also be featured with a selection of a few minifigures to join Apprentice Mickey.
  5. I love this. It's incredible how much you were able to include, including the mask.
  6. Glad you like those additions. I pictured the dwarfs as having regular minifigure heads with the noses just printed on. But you're right that they have pretty distinctive and large noses so I can see the case for new head molds. Especially since at the Disney Parks, the dwarfs aren't face characters and wear full masks. Although Captain Hook is another character who walks around with a mask but his minifigure had a regular head, despite his protruding nose. I feel like they're a better choice for more Disney Parks sets like if we ever get a Haunted Mansion set. But I would love to see a CMF line for It's a Small World with a representative from a dozen or so countries. Especially if they ever released a set for It's a Small World later on with the full automated facade.
  7. I love this list. It features most of the major characters who aren't included yet but are super popular. I'm glad you brought up Tarzan and Jane as well since they both deserve to be included, but those pesky rights issues will prevent that. I'd also like to see Cruella, Pocahontas, Pinocchio characters, and Hunchback of Notre Dame characters. I'm still holding out hope that Snow White's cottage is accepted in the current batch of IDEAS submissions. I would love to see some of the 90s Disney movies get sets as well, like the ones you mentioned or Agrabah Palace from Aladdin. Each of those 90s movies have huge fanbases so they would sell pretty well.
  8. That might be a neat idea for a CMF series 3 considering we already have full-scale minifigure versions of Chip and Dale based on how they appear at the parks. I would also like to see sets based on the actual homes of the characters, particularly the Towntown iterations in Disneyland: Mickey's house, Minnie's house, Donald's sailboat house, Chip and Dale's treehouse, etc. would be far more interesting to me than a random fire station, farm, or spaceship.
  9. Same, I'm really looking forward to that and I hope it gets approved. But I'll lose a lot of interest if it turns out to feature minidolls instead. Especially since this would save the CMF series from having to adapt all seven dwarfs plus Snow White and the witch.
  10. Oops, that's what I meant. I knew it was one of the portable devices. Either way, I'd very much like to see Quasimodo and Esmeralda in minifigure form, especially since a live-action remake for Hunchback is confirmed. Cinderella is long overdue at this point. Same with Snow White, Aurora, and Belle. I hope we get at least two princesses in Series 3 and I'm guessing one of them will probably be a modern princess like Rapunzel or Merida.
  11. Cinderella and The Hunchback of Notre Dame were also included in the PSP game. The Jungle Book and Pocahontas are the two most prominent Disney movies that never made it into Kingdom Hearts. The animal movies, like Dumbo, Bambi, Lady and the Tramp, and One Hundred and One Dalmatians, all had some minor sort of presence in the franchise.
  12. Those two sets passing review give me hope for Snow White as well. Besides the historical value of the movie that will make it appeal to beyond just Disney fans, it's also an easy way to get minifigures of all seven dwarfs quickly made since there's no way we could get them all at once with the CMF line.
  13. Maybe I need to wait to see a higher-res image, but I'm not a big fan of the exterior from what I've seen so far. I think I've been spoiled by some excellent MOCs all over the Internet.
  14. I would be surprised if we didn't see Oswald in the next wave. Same with Pete who really needs a minifigure by now. I'm really hoping we get more representation for the classic princesses. We have Ariel and Jasmine, but we still need Snow White, Cinderella, Aurora, and Belle. And if we could get princes for all these princesses, that would be great as well. The Seven Dwarfs are also absolutely necessary but based on the amount of slots they would take up, it would be easier if they were all present in a set (like the Lego Ideas Seven Dwarfs cottage set). Some 90s characters like Tarzan, Quasimodo, Esmeralda, and Pocahontas would be great as well. Not to mention Beauty and the Beast which shockingly hasn't had a single minifigure represented yet.
  15. Definitely lost interest in this if it features minidolls instead of minifigures. At the same time, I'm grateful that at least a D2C Disney set featuring minidolls is based on a newer property like Frozen. It would have bothered me way more if one of Disney's classic properties had gotten a set without minifigures instead, like Snow White, Cinderella, or Sleeping Beauty. I'm also in the camp that this divide between minifigures and minidolls is sexist and regressive. I thought we were leaning away from "boys toys" and "girls toys" but as long as the minidoll sets exist, there's still this sense that Lego isn't for girls unless it features minidolls. I'm female and I can't see why minifigures would be considered for boys only. I love dolls but if I want them, I'd go looking at Barbie or Polly Pocket, not Lego.
  16. He's usually about $10-15 on Ebay. Which is a bit much for a minifigure but if you really do want the classic version of him, I think it's not the worst price in the world as a one-time buy.
  17. When can we most likely expect pics of the D2C Ice Castle?
  18. Wow, I love this! We really do need more X-Men sets. I love how you incorporated Nightcrawler teleporting and the inclusion of Adamantium, Vibranium, and Uru in the classroom.
  19. Does the inclusion of Doris and Diggle here make it less likely we'll ever get a Leaky Cauldron set with an entrance to Diagon Alley?
  20. I'd like to see Peter Pig, his companion in that short, given the minifigure treatment one day. Hopefully these new Mickey sets can include more of the peripheral characters like Pete, Clarabelle Cow, Horace Horsecollar, Clara Cluck, Ludwig Von Drake, Max Goof, and Clarice.
  21. Goofy doesn't have the black band around his hat or the black vest which is disappointing.
  22. Would you mind sending me those pics then? From all the discourse online, it seems everyone is excited about the farm set most so it's a pity there are no pics for that yet.
  23. Does anybody still have the pictures for the new Mickey sets?
  24. Supported! Pocahontas is one of my favorite films and Grandmother Willow would make for an amazing set. I think in the movie there were also some lily pads with frogs on the surface of the water and some owls in the branches. I love that you included a canoe as well.
