Didn't the wording also include something about being a 19th figure or was that something that was misconstrued? -

She really does look more like Princess Peach than Aurora. Another issue is that in the movie, Aurora never has any of her golden locks thrown over her shoulders whereas the minifigure hair does have some of her hair over the shoulder. Her hair is always drawn as flowing behind her back. I'd much rather the golden crown have been molded onto her hair rather than a separate, generic piece since Aurora's crown is pretty distinctive. They did a great job with the Evil Queen's crown so not sure why they dropped the ball on Aurora's crown. The white collar is also annoying because that's how it looks in merchandise for her, but in the movie the collar is either a very pale shade of blue or pink depending on what her dress color is. I never understood the need to make it white which really sticks out. I always assumed it was the lighting on the first leaked image of the Queen that made the tassels appear black rather than red. In the CMF promo image, her underskirt appears to be even lighter but that may also be because of the lighting of the image. I still see a faint line on her torso though that goes straight down the middle, like in the original leaked image, which is funny since while Snow White does have a golden line down her torso, the Queen shouldn't have any line. Imo if they can't successfully make the character look accurate, then they shouldn't bother at all, which applies to both Stitch and Baymax here. We could easily have gotten Lilo instead of a 2nd Stitch. And I saw on Reddit that someone pointed out that Stitch's shade of blue has been wrong since his first minifigure. I didn't notice it until now but it's true that in the movie he's a very dark blue whereas he's a paler shade of blue in his minifigures. Aurora only appears in pink in merchandise and promotion because Disney was afraid two blonde princesses in blue would confuse children. Never mind the fact that Cinderella is neither blonde nor does she wear blue but because a silvery white dress doesn't sell to children, they darkened up her dress and lightened her hair to make her the Cinderella we know today which meant Aurora's dress had to change colors to make her differ. In the movie, she only wears pink in the final scene when she's dancing with Prince Phillip and we only get far-away shots of her from a distance that way. I'm not a fan of chase figures but I'd gladly take one here so we can have an Aurora who actually resembles the movie. As for the Three Good Fairies, in the survey for the Maleficent dragon set, I did mention that for the price they should go ahead and add the fairies as minifigures. I can't imagine we'll get another chance at them besides the set. -

@strangely Thank you for sharing your thoughts on the set. It's been a common problem for some of these modular sets that the side turrets mean they don't work well next to other towers. Do you have any idea what the sink is supposed to represent anyway? A random bathroom? I'm not sure what the scroll of parchment is supposed to represent either besides a random object in the Room of Requirement? -

Could the rumored 19th figure of the CMF series that's supposed to be a princess be a blue dress variant for Aurora? -

I love that they're reusing that particular skirt piece for the Queen of Hearts and she has her heart scepter. I like the additions to Cruella as well with a fur piece around her neck and her purse most of all because that exclusion was really bothering me. Although still disappointed that Patch's coloring is off. Pocahontas looks incredible with windswept hair and leaves. I love Oswald, Pinocchio, Jiminy, Mickey, and the Robin Hood and Coco characters as well. I have very mixed feelings on Aurora. I think I need to see more pics of her in different lightings or angles but her hair seems way too short for her and the generic crown doesn't suit her. The shade of pink used for her also seems too light which is why I would have preferred the blue dress or Briar Rose dress. The Prince Phillip in the Maleficent set is in his forest outfit which means he won't match with pink dress Aurora and you can't accurately recreate the scene where he kisses her. I do like that they took the HP owl mold and used that for her owl. Stitch still looks incomplete to me without his antenna. Baymax looks quite awful as well so he's an easy skip. The Evil Queen, I'm still confused as to why she has a visible underskirt or a line down her torso. Very weird choices for what should be a very simple design. But I like the Magic Mirror which will replace the one in my Cinderella Castle. Overall, I'll be getting all the classic Disney characters from Oswald to Pocahontas. Stitch is the only new character I would have made an exception for but I'm not interested now. I'm not a huge Pixar fan but Coco was one of their better recent original movies so I wouldn't mind getting the minifigures for that. I just hope Aurora and the Queen look better as we get more shots of them. -

Mickey looks wonderful with the molded hat. I thought they might give him a cloth "skirt" piece to represent the tail of his robes but I guess not. I love the Evil Queen's face and hair. She'll look wonderful once complete with collar and cape. I'm confused as to why she has a visible under skirt though...not a fan of that. Cruella looks amazing as well even if they couldn't make her fur coat as bulky as it should be. I like the inclusion of Patch but I wish they would have gone with one of the less distinctive dalmatians like Lucky so you could collect multiple of them. They got Patch's spotted eye wrong as well. It should be the right eye, underneath the black ear, not opposite to it on the left eye. They're following how he looks in merchandise rather than in the original movie. And it's still a shame that Cruella won't come with her purse since we all know her cigarette was never going to be depicted. -
There was text although it wasn't very descriptive about exactly how many minifigures and animals. It gave the piece count (3200 pieces) and dimensions (11" high, 15" wide, 4" deep when opened) and then a general description that this is an extension of the Medieval Market Village. "Each building features detailed interiors showcasing new merchants and trades not previously seen in the original."

Besides the differences in Tinker Bell, Peter Pan has new plain legs unlike the printed ones before. -

The Up house is great. I wish there were more balloons but it's definitely the best of the upcoming Disney sets (although that bar is not very high as of now). The train is okay. I already have Tink so there's not much of interest to me especially considering how small the parade floats are. I'd be more interested in this train if there were more sets like this featuring individualized floats for the other Disney characters so you could have a longer train. -

Bill worked at Gringotts so his inclusion would make sense, even if we never see him there in the movies. -

Oops, I meant the Durmstrang Ship. I got it mixed up with the Knight Bus because of the speculation that we could one day get a USC remake of it like with the leaked image of the Burrow. Definitely sounds like a credible source then for Belle and Gaston. I guess that specific reference was probably about Moana but considering we know there will be Disney sets spaced out throughout the whole year, it wouldn't surprise me to learn that there are additional sets we have no knowledge about now, like a Beauty and the Beast set. I hope so anyway because it's a movie that's long been overdue for the Lego treatment. -

Is this the same user who basically predicted the entire Harry Potter wave for this year, minus the Knight Bus? After the Disney CMF series was leaked, I remember one of the leakers noted on their Instagram Stories that there would be a 19th minifigure based on one of the princesses: Cinderella, Belle, Merida, or Moana. Moana was leaked the next day as part of the Disney Train set but perhaps the reference was really about Belle? Although that wouldn't explain Gaston. Either this means we're also getting a Beauty and the Beast set (probably based on the village if it features Gaston but no Beast) or the leaked CMF series is only partially correct and there are at least two characters wrong as Belle and Gaston have their slots instead. -

Very boring. I was expecting more silver than dark gray. If this minifigure is an indicator of the rest of the set, it'll be an easy pass. -

It looks awful. I really wanted a Wendy minifigure to go with the other Pan minifigures, not to mention Alice and Dorothy. -

I'd like a minifigure scale version too, particularly a Great Hall that actually has four wide tables placed parallel to each other that can seat all the houses and room for a variety of professors at the front, not just the usual 3 who can barely be crammed in. They could include the courtyard with the Great Hall and the Staircase Tower as well as the first set to start off with. -

I didn't even realize that after Lockhart's class and the Astronomy tower, there technically haven't been any classrooms included in the modular sets, not just the potions classroom. And I doubt the Battle of Hogwarts set would feature any classrooms. Maybe Lego felt the Hogwarts Moments sets were enough to satisfy fans who want the classrooms in Lego form, but I would prefer to have sets that can actually be implemented in the modular castle. Like you said, individual sets featuring stand-alone classrooms or even a new tower that features multiple classrooms and professors' offices would be nice. The individual sets in particular seem like an easy way to whip out some of these rooms that haven't been included yet By new section of the Great Hall, do you mean a Great Hall remake or a set that would expand and attach onto the Great Hall from the Chamber of Secrets set? -

The survey even featured sets about to retire like 43179 - Mickey Mouse & Minnie Mouse Buildable Characters. I definitely hadn't seen Rivendell before today. The user who I think first leaked it on Instagram already seemed to have pictures of all the other sets that I had seen so perhaps he got them and Rivendell from the same place or source? I have spoken to some other users who seemed to know about the existence of at least one or two of the sets when I first commented on them so it seems if not the pictures, then at least the general existence of the sets was already out there with a select few. -

There were about 50 or 51 sets in the beginning and I first had to click on all the ones I was interested in. The ones I didn't bother to click on, I wasn't asked anything about. Like the Hogwarts Icons set I didn't bother to click on whereas I did with the Sorting Hat, not because I was interested in it, but because I knew it was a new set. So for the sets I was interested in, I had to name prices but I could say $0 as well, which is what I did for example with the Sorting Hat. Then I was asked to pick from a series of reasons as to why I wasn't buying it. There were many sets that I personally wasn't interested in buying, like the Zelda one, but I knew it has a huge fanbase and people have been always asking for it so I did bid high on that to indicate a level of interest. Especially since out of all the sets, that one was the one whose inclusion surprised me the most since I was under the impression that Lego did not have the rights to make it, so I figured they're definitely gauging interest for Zelda to see if there's a market for it or not. -

I should also clarify that the survey was mostly composed of already existing sets. The new sets were not the majority of the sets featured in the survey. And some of the sets in the survey were pretty old like Hogwarts Castle (71043) which has been out for years now, as well as the Hogwarts Icons set. Even for these questions, I was asked what price I would buy them for and told what price range they would be available in as well as a most likely price. The most likely price was always what they're currently selling for. So I don't know if they included old sets as a sort of control to compare to the new sets, or if they just continue adding onto the survey and never remove old additions. The Lion Knights Castle was probably the newest set featured in the survey that is currently available. -

I definitely left in my survey comments that I would want a Jean Grey to be included. But I'm definitely disappointed with the set overall. It might be wide enough but it's definitely not tall enough especially with that lackluster roof. Even though we can't see the interior, from the bits we can see of it from the open windows and doors, it's clear to me that this mansion is only based off of the upper level floors so it'll be bedrooms, classrooms, and Professor X's office. I don't see a Danger Room, Cerebro, the Blackbird hangar, etc. making it in. Possibly in an expansion set that would fit underneath but considering how pricey the mansion is by itself, I don't know if there would be a demand for another set just as expensive to complete it. Even with the limited space we do have right now, I don't think the bedrooms will be all that great. In the comics, Storm has the attic to herself filled with her plants, Colossus' room would have his paintings, Wolverine's room would be Japanese themed, Nightcrawler's room had an Errol Flynn poster, Kitty Pryde and Magik shared a bedroom, etc. but I see little to none of that making it in this set. The Brotherhood characters taking up half the minifigure count also seems unnecessary unless the premise of the set is that the Brotherhood is attacking the X-Mansion. Juggernaut would have made more sense if there needed to be a villain because he's a single character. I'd much rather see the other prominent X-Men included over villains. -

I think if it was just a regular set, it probably wouldn't be so big. However, because this set has to feature at least 8 minifigures (Snow White and each of the seven dwarfs), that means they have to justify making a bigger set. Also because this set is likely being released for Disney's 100 years anniversary so it makes sense to go big. I don't think we'll see Belle's cottage or Aurora/Briar Rose's cottage in this scale since they're less iconic. -

You also have to keep in mind that it has to be large enough to fit an interior with all the rooms from the movie. The kitchen with window access and a large sink, a place for all the musical instruments like Grumpy's piano, a dining table, and a staircase leading to the upper floor with seven little beds. I also hope they didn't forget to include the wash basin the dwarfs use to bathe, which I believe was included in the Ideas set. I'd rather see that over the wishing well since the wishing well should be its own set. -

Rivendell was definitely not in the survey, just to confirm. It looks stunning though. Even with the price, it's going to be hard to dissuade myself from buying it. I hope we get clearer pictures of it soon.
