  1. "Sweet child o'mine" is what @MyFirstMOC-Hun must have hummed while creating this fine little scene. Here we can see how life for the infamous Steve was like when he was a child. Find more pictures in the LEGO Pirates Forum!
  2. Most impressive. Is that your largest layout so far? Are you going to bring this to Antwerp later this year?
  3. Congratulations!
  4. Why is the Flying Dutchman a ship and not a plane? Does it actually fly? Maybe these question are besides the point. In any case: @Barbatos' creation is an excellent rendition of the famous vessel. Find more pictures and infos in the LEGO Pirates Forum!
  5. Congratulations Excellent, I like this very much, and there is also a monkey! Rockwork and water modelling are fine. And the battle is epic. Thanks to Mr. Phes for clarifying who is Steve
  6. Time for something epic: A_Goodman presents us with a well-built, well-lit and well-photographed battle scene. Find even more pictures in the LEGO Pirates Forum!
  7. A fine creation and I would like to have that white staircase piece. Congratulations!
  8. Don't make it bad. Take a strange set and make it better. That is what @KolonialbeamterdeMartinez must have thought when he sought to improve Lego Set 43223. Find more pictures of this now genuine bluecoat set in the LEGO Pirates Forum!
  9. Fine ruins - but what have you done to your Indiana Jones set?
  10. That 'tile and various shades of blue' technique has turned out fine!
  11. Fine underwater scene. The background works very well!
  12. Did you see that ship? @mrsniady1 has built the perfect Dutch Galleon! Sails and flags are custom-made. Choice of colours is excellent. You can see more pictures of this fine creation in the LEGO Pirates Forum!
  13. Is that a joke? I never sent you anything.
  14. I did not know that a word like "Stiamh" actually exists. It would ruin the joke. All you need to know for my little story is how to pronounce "Niamh".
  15. Congratulations This is an excellent build, filled with diligently designed minifigures - and it is also part of your overall story-telling. I like this very much and it was high time that I put this onto our frontpage!
  16. Is this the Brandenburg Gate? Is it the Arc de Triomphe? Or is it Marble Arch? No, this new design comes from the talented @Ross Fisherand he uses it as a backdrop for some kind of masked ball. You will find exquisite costumes when you check out more pictures in the LEGO Pirates Forum!
  17. I think this is pretty good. Could you add more pictures so that we can appreciate your MOC better?
  18. @Mister Phes I have found Steve, so I have re-shot the pictures.
  19. Fine entry, I like it. Congratulations!
  20. Is this Indy? Could be, but no. This is the infamous Steve on his way to become a pirate. What is he doing in this ruined jungle fortress? Find out in the LEGO Pirates Forum!
  21. Very fine story. All the best to Steve, I hope he'll make it!
  22. Good idea! What a comment! I usually tend to answer with fewer words. So: thanks! And the colonial officer is not drinking coffee. He is drinking rum, which comes from the barrel next to him. Besides, there is a large island just behind the officer. Just out of sight
  23. Why so small? That was the constraint given for the challenge = minimal piece count. Detail = barrels: there is a barrel in the scene. Stack of paper = yes, there could be a few more. Is it allowed to re-do the entries? Then I could add more papers. My main problem was that I had spent two days searching for my Steve-minifigure. I was so sure that I had one from "the old days". But I did not find him Nice comment. Thanks. Well, the main point for me is the story And I need to correct the second picture.
