  1. I like that. Congratulations
  2. A scene full of suspense comes from @BardDandelion I fear something bad is going to happen - if you want to see more, check out the details in the LEGO Pirates Forum!
  3. Fine builds indeed. I wish there was an overview picture to show us how everything is coming together. And I have a question: Where are those grey Morion helmets from?
  4. Congratulations, I am quite impressed!
  5. When you build a ship you have to ask yourself if you want it to be correctly scaled for minifigs or just be a "model". @yanwilmahas decided to go for the scaled version and the resulting Batavia is truely impressive. Check out more pictures in the LEGO Pirates Forum!
  6. Great stuff - I like the field gun with its crew the most!
  7. This brand new galleon leads us into the year 2024: @mrsniady1's fine creation comes even with handpainted sails - you can find more pictures in the LEGO Pirates Forum!
  8. This fine creation comes from @NOD, so this nod goes to him. A lot of things are happening here that you might not see at first glance. Check out the sand castle, the excellent waterfall or the amazing architecture in the LEGO Pirates Forum! As this is the last "Wednesday update" for this year I would like to wish you all a good and happy 2024!
  9. Congratulations
  10. You remember the "Black Sea's Barracuda" that came out some years ago? Well, this version by @Marooned Marin definitely has more fire-power! Check out more pictures in the LEGO Pirates Forum!
  11. TheWatchman is right. It is reddish brown.
  12. @CaptainDarkNStormy has a nice surprise for us: A modernisation of the Rock Island Refuge. It features a monkey and a tucan! Find more pictures in the LEGO Pirates Forum!
  13. Here is a fine ship that defends the harbor of Wullham. This is another fine creation of @evancelt. You will find more pictures in the LEGO Pirate Forum!
  14. Yepp, and I have seen smaller versions of the tower on the web too. Thanks! Exactly. I had to have it for myself Thanks! Much appreciated! Right. Actually I tried to place a cannon for the Brickmania Antwerpen event, but there is not much space there for such a thing. So, it looks nice but is not really defendable... Thanks. Yes I added some pirates on the right that are sneaking in (one has a "bomb" in his hand) I agree Yes, but that is from the picture that inspired my build. The kudos go to somebody else.
  15. This is the picture that I started from: There are slight differences ... The answers: no, no, yes. The tower consists of 3 parts, the base is made up of four parts. Yepp, I also found the windows amazing!
  16. Well. actually I must admit, that the tower is not my design. Similar pictures are floating around the internet. And I have seen this specific version on a LEGO event in August - and I wanted to have that MOC, so I took pictures and then built it myself. So, goal no. 1 was the recreation of an existing set (=achieved). Now I can go and modify it. And your suggestion about tiling sounds absolutely right.
  17. As shown last week on Brickmania Antwerp, here is the Imperial Outpost Fortress: Of course, I had added some minifigs, etc.: ... and I am playing with artificial backgrounds: (pictures are linked to my flickr account)
  18. We haven't seen islanders in a while - and now they are back! @Sir Archibald gives us this fine new approach on the Islanders' Catamaran. Feel free to find more pictures in the LEGO Pirates Forum!
  19. Sorry, could not make it for this challenge. Congrats to the winners!
