I thought the books were great despite my reservations which is mainly how he handled the end but no spoilers here- it certainly helps to have read his entire back catalogue though or you may miss out on some of the smaller details. :). I'm doing a brick built door - and I saw it as more of a gateway. I'm toying with a forced perspective to get it done but it's a tough trying to get the details correct. I'm doing the lobstrosity scene and have got groundwork done on the beach and creature but that's most of it so far! I build at such a stupidly slow pace! I have really enjoyed your MOCs and it reminded me how good the books were. Odetta was a mean mo fo!

These are great mocs with good photography! I love the series but was also disappointed with how the books kind of fizzled out. I have one gunslinger moc in progress myself. The doors used to captivate my imagination. I tap my throat to you Sire. Never forget the face of your father!

Splendid! Plenty of black there! I did some swat stuff a while back in 2013 and noticed that in a lot of pics the guys are in blue aswell. Guess its a state/county thing. A little bit of extra colour can do wonders to give your figs some extra interest, the grey gloves add a little something on yours for sure. I used the TT arm patches and experimented with the legs to see how they looked. The standard legs are definitely a bit boring on the middle guy. The swimming cap makes a good balaclava top if you are doing insurgents or bad guys. Also teams also have different rigs depending on their team role I believe. My favourite in my team was the shield guy.

Firestar is a great site for custom stuff. I would recommend however if you are looking for Official TLG figs or accessories, Bricklink is far less expensive. That looks like a nice team assembly you have there, I would try and upgrade their legs when you can though, little bit vanilla. There are some good options that you could use if you want to stay with black. The Crew of the "Sky Terror" It is the Age of Steam! The Crew of the "SKY TERROR" are a wretched band of Zombie Pirates. Their Zeppelin rains parachuted torpedoes, bombs and death from above. Lead by their Nefarious Captain "Oberon Black" they are the scourge of the English Channel . They prey on the coal ship steamers which toil between England and France, consuming the brains of some of their captives while selling off the rest as cattle to their Undead compatriots. The Ships Brute – Kang Blessed with limited intellect but fearsome strength and appetite, Kang is forced to wear a divers helm to stop him from eating all the prey the crew capture. His eagerness to get at lunch makes him the perfect one man boarding party. He acts as leader of the Vanguard, although slow he is nigh on unstoppable! Gunner "Torpedo" Jim Jones. Consigned to the lower reaches of the "Sky Terror" Torpedo cuts a lonely and forlorn figure. He passes his spare time painting murals on the ships ordinance. He is only truly happy when is he let above deck to polish his prized deck guns or better still to let them loose upon the living. Captain Oberon Black The captain suffers from the malaise of airsickness, an affliction which leaves him with the most unpleasant of attitudes. A vile and treacherous individual, utterly ruthless, driven by a hatred of the living and a love of violence. Although he bears the scars from many battles he refuses to let Nurse Love assist him with the replacement of his missing limbs or eyeball. Instead he enjoys the extra malice that he can inflict with his saw hand and cast iron stomper leg. The Captain runs a tight ship and owns the most lucrative vessel in the meat trade. Nurse Love The mysterious Nurse Love was originally a prisoner aboard the "SKy Terror" she tried to tend the other prisoners when her ship was captured but alas she succumbed to a bite from one of her patients. Now in undeath she is tasked with the job of repairing and fixing up the crew of the "Sky Terror". sowing on a new digits here and there or back filling the holes in a sailors gut. A spinster in life she refuses to accept the same fate in death. She hopes to kindle a romance with the Captain. Seduced by the allure of his power and prestige, she has offered him her heart (and indeed several other peoples too) in an as yet unsuccessful attempt to woo him. Master-Bosun Zim Sarson. His eternal service to the Captain was forfeit after being tricked into signing a long term employment contract in life. Accursed are the department of Inhuman Pirate Resources! In death he seeks to replace the captain and put an end to his servitude. A troublesome crew member he is always undermining the captain and trying to put his oar in… ----------------------------------- Accessories are TLG with a dash of brickwarriors for good measure. Started many moons ago but only finished today as an entry to the Eurobricks zombie competition category D.

Maybe figbarf is the wrong terminology! I call all my fig mash ups fig barfs. The combos are delightful, I meant no disrespect!

Tony and Pucket stand out as my faves here! A tough load of SOBs if ever I did see one! :)

Cool band do they just play death metal Rick Ormoritz is the coolest IMO

I like them especially the China one! as Leo says I would definitely give them some interesting shields to add a bit more flavour! perhaps a little backstory would add to your entry. I love to hear the origins of such cool figs!

I love your hardy band of survivors! I had the same dilemma trying to decide zombies or survivors. I have gone zombie! These guys look pretty dangerous (except Owen who is dead meat) I do love a good figbarf!

Hi All I've been building small star wars mocs lately. I usually restrict myself to mainly figs. I've always disliked lego speeder bikes so have made couple of my own variations. They are quite different builds but both despite being built on the same frame. There seems to be a mini fad on these lately... And here is the minifig scale one.

Hi All! Thanks for the positive feedback. I was fighting a tight deadline with only 2 evenings to build. I was going to do a brickbuilt head but ran out of time. @exotrius - The arms are in proportion to the legs, I thought the head was about right but I may revisit it later. I tried trans blue/blue 1 one colour heads too but they didn't look right at all as they had no detail. I went with this one as it gave her discernible eye balls. :) ash - I got the tubes in one of the new nexo knight deluxe sets.

Her shield is the spell screamer which swallows spells up whole and then spit them back out with even greater venom back at the caster.

My entry for Cracker Inc. telephone starfighter game, round 7. Have been in semi enforced dark age, so first time back here in a while! Intel gained from both the Russian and American space programs has been utilised to develop next generation surveillance technology.. Armed with twin cowl rail guns and equipped for extended duration missions, the Sentinel is the British Empires first line of defence against hostile enemy forces. Capable of homing in on precision objectives, the Sentinel can eliminate individual high value targets with ease. The Sentinel is piloted by Operative code name Night Owl. Night Owl is a genetically enhanced soldier capable of near hibernation like sleep. This enables him to maintain a state of constant readiness, only roused when the ships sensor array wakes him with new orders or a proximity alarm.
