  1. I like your flaming horsey the best! Top work! :)
  2. I recognise those parts. :) Came out pretty awesome! Love the base too!
  3. Thanks Boss -I'm going to do undead black Falcons and then some beasties :).
  4. I was thinking of doing a mixed Warband - can My tribe have a corrupted human attache? Do Undead count as non humans? Sorry if that's a stupid question. Are you just trying to encourage the building of non human tribes or can Allies be included? I see a lot of Raven peeps and don't want to do the same as others?
  5. "You can count on my steel" Sig Fig to follow.
  6. I'm looking to get involved - can I make Nocturnus my home? I'm also interested with regards to a couple of points. Are flesh minifigs allowed in Nocturnus - perhaps it's a horrible mutation?
  7. Hi - As I'm basically just a minifig builder is there any scope for me to get involved?
  8. A better mic solution would be to attach a black minifig hand to some flex tube cut to an appropriate length. The wrist of the hand would be pushed into the hole in the flex tube, the hand can then grip the mic at the correct angle If you want you can put the flextube into a small 2x2 dish. This solution isn't my own, it's a fairly common one used for quite a while now. Here's one of my minifigs displayed with it. A picture paints a thousand words..
  9. Temple of Ennoc by Fianat Peep's Sheep 'n' Livestock Co by Tazmaniac So many wonderful entries! Very difficult to choose just two!
  10. Awesome! the handcuffs and planet use are great but my favorite part is the elevated control deck at the back. It's super!
  11. Yay! Got a Customizer tag! :)

  12. Blackwater USA Another Modern Warfare Barf. Blackwater USA now known as Academi was formed in 1997 by Erik Prince and Al Clark. Academi is currently the largest of the U.S. State Department's three private security contractors. Academi provided diplomatic security services in Iraq to the United States federal government on a contractual basis. The Academi HQ is based in Arlington County Virginia. Pictured here are some of the myriad of operatives available to the clientele of Blackwater. 13. Thanks she came out perfect nearly first time! the Hands are the new powerfists from the chima gorilla's. They are in the gorilla mech set by I picked em up off ebay a while ago.
  14. Here are my latest figbarfs for my World - Age of Steam Back stories over at Flickr ^_^ Phineas Taylor Barnum and his Carn-Evil Dr. Victor Frankenstein and his minions The Ladies of Londinium Town Dr. Octopunk and my favorite The Iron Lady and her automaton Goliath Comments, criticism and feedback always welcomed!
  15. Thank you for the review as everyone has already stated! MASSIVE Positives I love the diversity of this series. Seems to be a lot of TV and movie related figs this time around! There are plenty of exciting and new parts, faces, hairpieces, hats and accessories. I don't know how anyone could be negative about the parts selections! annoying negatives The yellow outift on the waitress? What's that about why choose a "flesh" colour outfit just looks weird. Distribution - not much more needs to be said here. I'm not sure why there aren't three complete sets, I don't agree with the distribuiton but I can understand why Lego think it makes sense.
  16. Steam punk deck gun! :) I worked on the brick warriors stall at Brickfete and can tell you saving seen these items first hand they are superb!
  17. This is very cool, Would you mind if I made some suggestions? The Top half is very nice and there is some excellent shaping going on. Perhaps if you could break up the brown a little with some gold pieces it would add a little to the colour scheme? Do you have a black plate in the upside arch window? You could swap that with a gold lattice and it would add some really nice detail. Also the legs look a tiny bit unfinished. Again a dash of gold possible some 1x1 tube bricks to fill in the gaps may be beneficial or if you have them a couple of barrels on each leg would really give it some sturdiness and added realism? Finally the feet are very very small, perhaps a jumper plate on the bottom and some sloped bricks would add a little to the mix! I hope you don't mind my comments. The Top half is quite splendid but I do think the botttom could benefit from a little TLC.
  18. My most recent purchase was Jabba's throne room but with no minifigs. It's a sweet set! packed with details!
  19. Thanks all for the positive feedback. I do love steampunk! Mr Latrine is a mark VI custom Ironman head from Christo and the gears are lewis gun mags from Brickarms. It really does! I normally dislike the clone wars style, but for this one it seemed perfect!
  20. Thank you all for your positive words. No not at all purist. The Moustache is a tiny tactical gasmask over a brickaffliction batman mask. I used the following custom houses in this barf, Brickaffliction, Brickwarriors, Brickforge, Brickarms, Tiny Tactical, MMCB, Eclispegrafx, Citizen Brick and Easton Capes and of course a bit of recolouring with some sharpie where necessary. Gotham by Gaslight was a graphic Novel - Only Batman is in it :) that's very kind of you to say - the more interpretations the merrier I say! I think Batman could be done differently and there's probably some scope for change on Supes too! :)
  21. A little steampunk Figbarf. Pictured here are some Brickish "Captains of Industry." Captains are renowned for their fame/notoriety or influence within the Brickish Empire. Left to Right. Lord Tiberius George - The Empires most successful "Big Game Hunter" Araminta Sedgwick - A suffragette and agent provocateur. - Armanta's pet pooch Burberry. Captain Meeno - An officer in her majesty's navy and famous explorer. Mr Latrine - A french double agent specializing in waste management.
  22. "Extraordinary" ex·traor·di·nar·y /ikˈstrôrdnˌerē/ Adjective Very unusual or remarkable. Unusually great. Formed by Commander Albert Jordan - by order of The Queen of The Brickish Empire. The League fights off all invaders and enemies of the Empire. Left to Right Nautical Man Luster Lady Albert Jordan Super Chap The Martian Gentleman Hunter Bat-Fellow The Flash esq. Directly inspired by "Gotham by Gaslight"
  23. Honestly I'm not a fan of the furtopped coats. They look like the carpet that goes round a toilet in a 70's bathroom. Your Pimp Daddy's Friends however are great!
  24. Displaced by a Magical Monsoon the Hillarwi Tribe were uprooted from their homes in the plains of AfriKania and transported thousands of miles to the other side of the continent. a Band of around 100 warriors, women and their kin were thrust into an alien environment. Navigating by the stars they are desperate to reach home. Forced to live as Nomads everywhere they go they chant their infamous battle cry "We're the Hillarwi! We're The Hillarwi! Trying to get home! We're the Hillarwi!" Left to Right Mkhungo -Zulu Brave Intontela - Musician Isangoma - The Witch Doctor Shaka Diiygane - Chieftain Ubulawayo - Standard Bearer Mbube - Champion -- The Brickarms uclips and brickwarriors scrolls make great tattered flags and sails too! I moced a small raft which then got cannibalised for parts but I hope to rebuild it. It's particularly effective with a mix of black and white scrolls and uclips. :) Plenty of themes used in this one PotC Chima Agents Harry Potter Super Heroes Indiana Jones LOTR CMF Series 10 Priates Custom Houses Brick Warriors Brickarms Christo V&A Steamworks
