  1. Congratulations Darth Potato! Great job Rick and Pandora! I've had a lot of fun following this from the start, and the presentation was awesome.
  2. Beautiful all round. I like how you have done the trunk for the big tree and the crane is just superb. I expect you'll see these popping up at watering holes everywhere.
  3. Nice work. Looks like the fishmonger and the guy on the street are smitten with that customer.
  4. Here's my entry in the 8x8 category, called "Going to the Barber". More photos in the topic and on flickr.
  5. Here's my entry to the Everything's Better with Ninja contest, in the 8x8 category. Why go to the barber when you can get your hair done Ninja-style! Hope you like it. More photos on flickr.
  6. There are some great details in here, like the statue, fountain, painting and the minifigs doing their things. I also like how you have done the bell tower and the roof on the main structure looks fantastic. I think it would benefit from all these details being more closely connected, maybe with some more greenery? It is a little spaced out at the moment. I wonder what it would look like if you kept all the things you have now, but use only the first half of the baseplate space?
  7. Wow I love the building, especially the detailing around the windows and those beautiful big arches for the verandah. Verandahs done in LEGO often look dark and cramped, but you've created the opposite - light, airy and roomy. The vineyard and grape squashing vat are also nicely done. The whole thing feels alive, with everyone going about their daily vineyard task.
  8. Great start. The tower is stunning. I love the vine / plant growing on it. I like the house too, particularly the colour combination and that it melds into the tower. The only thing I'm not so sure about is the red in the roof
  9. This is really cute! I am becoming a fan of this scale.
  10. Nice! The rooftop bar looks great.
  11. These are all simple, yet so beautiful. The sand blue one is my favourite, the little portico on that one works really well.
  12. The "Lots(Unique)" is the one you want.
  13. Your creation is amazing. My favourite rooms are the kitchen and bathroom, where the details are just exquisite. I also love the patterned flooring and the toys, especially the wooden duck and the horse-stick thingy (sorry, I have no idea what those are called). The first time I came across this, I didn't realise it was LEGO until I took a closer look.
  14. I agree with Ferrik on all counts. The colours for Quality Quidditch Supplies look excellent as they are and I love how you have done the windows on Ollivander's.
  15. I love this layout. When I saw the coastguard HQ by itself, I thought that it was a little too orange. But it looks just perfect now. I think I need to go and get myself the marina set and some blue baseplates. Thanks for the inspiration.
  16. It's beautiful. Your wife is a lucky girl!
  17. Welcome to Eurobricks! You just need a flickr account and you're set to go. Looking forward to seeing some of your MOCs.
  18. I love the removable toolbox. It's a great idea.
  19. Another great little chapter. The ending quote made me laugh out loud. What's the white & tan thing in the tree? I saw this in an earlier chapter and wasn't sure what it was then, but didn't think too much of it. I'm also wondering what the werewolf is up to.
  20. A great build. I like how you have posed the minifigs looking in different directions, it looks like they are exploring new territory. The one looking up at the tower is particularly good. Overall, it feels like an area where not many minifigs go, with the overgrown path and damaged / rundown tower. Just one thing that I don't feel is quite right. The lower part of the tower is still mostly intact, which seems out of place with the rest of the scene. Maybe make it look a bit more rundown?
  21. I don't see the appeal either. Looks like a mascot with a loyal fan base.
  22. This is simple, yet it has a lot of presence. I like that you have used an irregular shaped base. The presentation is great too, with very crisp colours and shadow. Was it shot outside in the sunlight?
  23. Nice! I can see this being a kid's favourite because of the playability, but at the same time being used by afols in forest-themed layouts.
  24. This is really neat!
  25. Welcome to Eurobricks!
