  1. Excellent building. If only LEGO designed SW buildings with the same grace and elegance that they design their vehicles....
  2. I agree, I've love to have an Uruk Hai army style set to go with your Minas Tirith! You could do like they did with Eomer and add an unique figure, maybe (though you already included most of the important ones already in your main set...)
  3. Today, I took my bicycle and paid my first visit to MegaBloks (Mega Brands) HQ in Montreal, Canada. A 35 minutes bike ride from my home. The HQ is situated in an industrial part of town, on Hickmore st., close to the 520 highway. I managed to see the inside the warehouse from the large doors used by trucks for loading/unloading. Strangely, there were very few fences to be found anywhere on the entire site - I've worked in warehouses where fences make it completely impossible to go even as close as 30 meters from any entrance. So it would be very easy for anybody to just sneak inside there (not that I'd do it myself). I contented myself by just circling the entire property on my bike. There is a "warehouse sale" door, but it was closed. I was told it only opens a few times per year and only for 2 days in a row. I went to the reception desk and asked if there was some kind of visitor area, with toys/models and such to show off. She responded negatively, with a blank stare.
  4. Lose Merry? Bad idea, there were four hobbits in that scene and you wanna reduce the hobbit count to only 1? The interior is not entirely pointless - the palantir holder is a detail from the book!
  5. Yeah, I agree the 10 minute cartoon with Boba Fett was the only redeeming part. And it had pretty much nothing to do with the rest of the film. Bea Arthur minifig in a cantina set = :laugh_hard:
  6. @ Gandalf's beard on one of the statues!
  7. Has there ever been any MOC made about scenes from the Star Wars Holiday Special (1978) film? Yes, the Star Wars Holiday Special, the actual SECOND Star Wars movie, the movie that Lucas and 99.99% of every Star Wars fan in existence tried to erase from history! ... But it's on youtube now!
  8. Really? So you don't have any Technic pieces either? Too bad, your vehicle begs to have one. I love to incorporate technic mechanisms in town vehicles when I can. Here's a tiny motorized snowplow I made in 2003 in classic town style. http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=70332
  9. I'm not too worried about the sword for now, it may look different when released since it is obviously photoshopped.

  11. toysrus.ca ran out of Helm's Deep! http://www.toysrus.ca/family/index.jsp?categoryId=13002406
  12. Nice tank, but isn't there "Military" written in the description for Special Lego themes forum?
  13. Not really into that idea, because many older SW fans (myself included) only care about the original trilogy and couldn't care less about anything related to the prequels. So Lego can't afford a year without an OT set since that would mean lower sales.
  14. Great scene. Hilarious ! So now that I've seen many Friends/City hybrid MOCs, Friends/Trains hybrids, Super Hero/Friends hybrid, one Friends/LoTR hybrid, and a Technic/Friends hybrid (the girly tank), I'm sure there must already exist Star Wars/Friends hybrid, right?
  15. Love the chrome parts. Have you tried motorizing it with a M-motor?
  16. Love it! Those minifigs must be comfy in there.
  17. Love it! Looks way better than the one Lego made for set 7641.
  18. I disagree with your 5/10 score, but keep going anyway, hope to see more reviews from you!
  19. I knew it wouldn't be long until we'd see the first Friends/LotR hybrid MOC Since we already have seen the first Technic/LotR MOC, (Isengard Ballista), what's next? A Star Wars / LoTR hybrid MOC, of course!
  20. I found a way to see his review anyway. The string KcUGvByNsXA is the video ID, just type it in on the search box on youtube. Anyway, here's the proper link.
  21. The Orc Forge is not really a 'mine'. Wait until the Orthanc set comes out and I guarantee people are gonna be hoarding Orc Forges to build a complete Isengard
  22. And here's a small diorama of Théodred not too long after that.
  23. === MY FAVS === I collect Technic, City/Train, some large models, and now LOTR. Here are what I consider to be my favourite sets. 24. Probably a $20000 custom mountain bike.
