  1. Ugh... I don't count just one location (Germany) as indicative that something got a general release, which later it did.
  2. Great trailer for Doctor Strange. It's a nice departure from the other MCU material and does give the fans something more magical.
  3. As mentioned that wasn't a Force Froday thing and came out later. The Force Friday TRU brick was really weak, IMO. Given the recent TFA May 4th polybag and book minifigures, I'm really not holding my breath for something RO related for Force Friday. Lego had a lot of success just releasing regular sets on Force Friday, so I don't think they need to include any extras to help move them.
  4. I wouldn't count on it. Lego didn't have any exclusive polybag or the like for Force Friday last year.
  5. Stud-shooters are almost as plentiful as brick-separators.
  6. Really nicely done! I like all the bright colors used. Very creative!
  7. Ok, that makes sense. Thank you!
  8. So, I'm working on the largest MOC I've ever thought of making and need some opinions. The model itself will be a building that should occupy 95% of the surface area. I'd like it to include two 32x32 baseplates and one 48x48 baseplate as the base of the model. Now, I know it'll have to have a base of material built on the baseplates for the model to stand on. Would it be more stable to connect all the baseplates and create a floor with two layers of plates or to connect all the baseplates and create a floor with bricks? I want this to be relatively easy to pick up and move, so I'm looking for a formula to do that with either plates or bricks. What do think?
  9. quizzically.
  10. I doubt we'll Doc Strange material until after CW. Right now Marvel/Disney will solely focus on that. We can expect this type of triaging given how fast the movies are coming out.
  11. Yes, the one-shot C-3PO issue explains the TFA red arm. I guess it's supposed to be fairly emotional, like some other droid sacrificed the red arm.
  12. I think there's little doubt the movie will do well, but HP has just not had the same product-heavy side like Star Wars or whatnot. I mean Jurassic World destroyed the box office and they only had a small Lego line and even smaller, sadder action figure line (with no characters).
  13. Well, Marvel has locked down promotion of a lot of X-Men material since they don't want to inadvertently promote the Fox movies. Same with Fantastic Four.
  14. I don't think I've seen any kind of prelim pics for products tied to this movie. No action figures or anything of that sort. With that said, I wouldn't be surprised if we didn't get any Lego sets, outside the confirmed Dimensions stuff. Now if this movie does well, I can absolutely see Lego picking it up, but they might be playing a bit cautious given everything else they're running with licenses this year.
  15. The current Star Wars comic series, Obi-Wan and Anakin miniseries, and Shattered Empire miniseries are all good. At the rate they're going, I'm also thinking the upcoming C-3PO one-shot this month and the upcoming Han Solo miniseries will also be good. I haven't read Lando, Chewie, or Leia (except issue #1), but all three are coming out in one trade paperback later this year, so I plan to pick it up then. Likewise, I haven't read Vader (except issue #1) but I'll probably just grab the trade paperbacks. Overall, I've found the writing to be very good, the action and adventure sequences to be fun and some of it all just alittle over-the-top. I think that's what I like about it the most - they're not trying to make the movies the only good part about these character's lives.
  16. Neither, I would have wanted a full Hobbit militia... Actually, I like Rohan better than Gondor.
  17. The T-Rex is amazing. The minifigures aren't bad for adding ranks to JW ACU personnel. The build for the rolling cage thing isn't fantastic or anything, but the huge wheels are nice for other MOCing - either another vehicle or use the grey/blue bricks for some JW MOCs. Overall, if you really like JW/JP and want a full dinosaur line-up, it's a must.
  18. I'd get the The Final Duel. Hype for TFA is still high and all of those figures in Takodano will be available in future sets (possibly with even other characters you may like or cheaper sets), plus there could be future sales. The Final Duel will not be revisited by Lego for some time and who knows when we'll get another shot at Vader (maybe in RO) or the Emperor.
  19. Sold on the Eclipse Fighter. Dengar, a female Sith or Dark Jedi, and some black and dark red flats? Yerp!!!
  20. Disney is getting really good at keeping secrets secret until they want them to be known. I'm betting we don't see the fourth CW set till after the movie drops.
  21. Nice to see some regular blasters in the sets and less stud-launchers. Still on the fence with the Turbo Tank.
  22. Hear, hear! Also thanks from myself to everyone who works on this site, maintains its integrity, it's well-designed layout, the fun contests, fantastic reviews and overall good nature and environment that is Eurobricks. It's definitely a place I go often to enjoy the camaraderie of the Lego community. Thank you to all the posters and members who engage in thought-provoking conversation and help contribute to the global and online presence of one of the greatest, most creative hobbies out there. From posting ideas, new designs, MOCs, and sightings locations; it is all valuable! Thank you to all!
  23. Great packaging. Kinda gives the feel that the troopers get some love.
  24. That statute of liberty is a wreck. I can't tell if the printed flats are supposed to be eyes or chest. Still... that sand green...
  25. I'm thinking that given how many SW movies are dropping and how varied the trooper types can/will be, it may be harder to army-build these days without dedicated battlepacks. I know most people are still trying to catch up on the new Stormtrooper (Slave 1 printing) and if more varied ones are coming out, the sets containing enough might be limited. At least the Rebels are so varied, it's easier to army-build.
