    Felix eyed Polaris as she tried to take down the crystals. "Watch yourself there, Polaris," he said, slightly worried over the Chimeran's actions and low health. If Varen's attempt to Persuade Drone A fails, Felix will try to hack it so it will turn to our side (or make it malfunction if turning it to our side isn't allowed). If Varen's attempt to Persuade Drone A succeeds, Felix will shoot at Drone B.

    “Make sure you don’t go down, take care of yourself,” Felix encouraged Polaris. Felix repeats.

    Beautiful build with an excellent color palette. I love how you did the bridge. Clever, but it works. ETTC must be paying their soldiers a lot if they can afford to use lapis lazuli as building elements in their houses .

    Felix checked his weapon for malfunctions and reloaded, surprised at the lack of landed hits. He then proceeds to repeat his attack, firing at Drone A.

    Felix unholstered his gun and spun it around his finger. Closing one eye he took aim and shoots at Drone A from his current position. OoC: Do I need to post a Battle Order? Probably not, since the order follows Initiative, I think?

    Watching the keypad flash red, Felix stepped up and inserted the hacking chip, trying to use his coding skills to bypass the security.

    What a beautiful build! Like the others said, the pattern on the floor is wonderfully designed. I love how you show the different aspects of the restorations, with plenty of detail to make the scene come to life. Very well done!

    The concept kind of makes me think of the movie 'Chappie', where a police robot is reprogrammed and he becomes 'dumb'/childlike and has to learn everything anew again. Sadly, his new owners are ghetto gangsters, so he is raised as a gansta robot. I'm not a native speaker either, so I'm not the best judge here spelling-wise, but I certainly don't think your English is bad. I always like reading the stories accompanying your Great Brick War MOCs, so I'm sure you'll do well here, too.

    Felix raised an eyebrow and shook his head. "Nah, can't say that I have." "Did you, like, take something before doing your Ætherdive? Because if you did, I'm sure Varen would be interested in whatever it was," the Chimeran jokingly said. "And I no longer hold any official authority, so there wouldn't be a thing I could do about it, see." He started the second part of his sentence as a joke, but his tone turned somewhat bitter towards the end and Felix turned himself away from his compagnons, focusing on the tracks at hand. Kneeling down on the ground, he let his paw slide over the ground and put his nose in the air to see if he could catch a specific scent. "We're not alone here," he murmured as he got up. "Let's check out the warehouse first. It seems as if it was recently entered. If that fails we'll take a look around the building. Keep your eyes peeled, fellas." Felix could not suppress a laugh. "You may kid, but I've seen it countless times before people actually use that as a code." The Chimeran wiped his eyes with the back of his paw. "Should we actually try '1234' or do we just try to hack it instead?", he proposed as he searched his pockets for his Hacking Chip.

    Felix looked baffled at his fellow Chimeran. "That's...peculiar. Why did your robot green? I've never had anything like that happen before." Continuing he followed up with more questions: "What is it exactly, anyway? An exo-suit? Is it sentient?" Meanwhile, Felix crouched and checked the surroundings for a possible trace of the missing agent, using his Survival skills. Perhaps there was something the team was overlooking on first inspection. Maybe there are routes, other than the warehouse. The Chimeran chuckled. "That must've been one hell of a firm you worked at, Varen."

    OOC: Was I normally supposed to reconfirm everyone's 'push' before being able to continue? Wasn't sure about it. Felix shook his head, cracked his neck and fingers, followed by a slight roll of the shoulders. "Here we are again." "Y'all make it through the dive alright?", he asked his fellow team members. His cat-like pupils morphed into small slits at the sight of so much light and bright hues. Blinking several times, he tried to get a sense of direction and his surroundings. "I guess we'll check out the warehouse first, right?"

    “That might work, but perhaps we need an even more completely random sentence, so we don’t use it by accident and get pulled out?”, Felix queried. Pausing briefly he flapped out: “Something like ‘I hate grapefruit’.” He chuckled at the silliness of the proposition. “I bet we won’t use that one by mistake.”

    Felix raised an eyebrow. "Go ahead if you want, but I'll pass on that. I'll keep the potential hangover for afterwards." "I believe the team is ready to go. Plug us in."

    Felix raised an eyebrow and used his insight to see if Molly's words perhaps indicated a special bond between her and the Thudaal. As honestly as he could, he replied: "I will. I promise, Agent Molly." The Chimeran nodded in appreciation. "We will not fail you."

    Felix frowned at the statement and took slight offense. "Although to be fair, she might be right about looking like a ruffian", he thought and straightened his shirt and tie. He took his nearly-finished cigarette from between his lips and pointed his clawy finger at the O'Kur'uk and sternly said: "Madame, I assure you, we are not those kind of people. We will uphold our word and solve this case." Felix regained his normal semi-careless posture from his slight lapse into anger. Several episodes of Ætherdiving flashed before his eyes as Oddsphere posed the question. "Yeah, I've got some 'dives on my name. Professional ones." The Chimeran grinned. "Let's say I come from a similar background as all of youse here. I have to admit though, it's been a while since my last 'dive." He expertly left out things went completely sideways the last time he went in with a team and he has only ventured into Ætherspace alone ever since. Felix felt somewhat nervous about the thought of taking a new team, but he was sure he'd do it better this time. After all, circumstances were way different now.

    "Because you put out a contract which we accepted and I fully intend to uphold my end of the deal, no matter what. I'm not one to back down. We'll get your boy back," Felix smiled.

    Felix fumbled in his inner pocket and fetched his cigarettes. He lifted one from the pack, tapping its bud on the pack several times before putting it in his mouth. He started mumbling while looking for his lighter. "It's Ætherspace, pal. It's kind of like an out-of-body experience, see. You disconnect from this world to enter the other one. It isn't exactly a walk in the park" He lit his cigarette and drew in some breaths before blowing the smoke, making sure not to bother anyone. "Then there's also the chance of running in to other 'divers. Malignant ones, you feel me. Bad voodoo. Data thieves and net pirates." "S'all good, though. You got your friendo there," Felix said, pointing at MILES, "and you got us. We'll be in and out in a jive." Felix tried to reassure his companion, but he wasn't as sure of himself as he used to be. After all, it had been a long time since his last venture into Ætherspace and he had at least some botched attempts under his belt.

    Valesia reminds me of the mother character from 'The Mitchells vs. the Machines'. I bet she has some self-stitched cloth flowers on her bag as well .

    "Hmm, strange indeed," Felix said. He tucked away his datapad and prepared to move to the lab. "One more question though: what case was Lars working? Was there something off about the client's asset he needed to protect?" "I guess that strikes that option off the list, then" Downing his glass of water, the Chimeran stood ready: "I'm all good for a 'dive. I'm sure we'll figure this one out on the go."

    I haven't had the time to do this, but I'll try to look into it over the weekend. Okay, that's a lot of more classes indeed . I'm only familiar with RPG games, such as the Elder Scrolls and the like and there they cut down on the classes probably to not alienate a wider audience and provide clarity. Pen & paper RPG's are a bit of uncharted territory. Thanks for the clear explanation. A combination of both ideas would perhaps be an ideal situation indeed. Like I said to Duvors: I'll see if I find some time over the weekend and mull it over.

    Felix listened attentively to all queries and answers, jotting down details he deemed interesting. "Seeing as you provide Aetherspace security, you probably make dives routinely. Aetherspace can be a dangerous place, like you've mentioned earlier, and sometimes things tend to go wrong, I figure. Any particular reason you called Heroica for this one? I mean, I take that you've tried investigating it yourself already?" Felix's ears rose at the mention of 'Thudaal'. "A Thudaal, eh? Aren't they known for their... peculiar... state of mind?", the Chimeran mused while his finger was making circles next to his head. "Something about a connection to the Underworld or Otherworld or whatnot. Would there be a chance Lars had some sort of episode while being in Aetherspace, confusing it with whatever dark place they dream of and he tapped out?" He stroked his chin and looked pensively. "I'm far from an expert on species, but perhaps his mind isn't cut out for the job? Do you employ many Thudaal here?" Felix know it was a shoddy connection at best, a shot in the dark. It would probably lead nowhere, but at least he'd be able to put those thoughts aside if they were proven wrong and focus on searching another path. The Chimeran had experience with Aetherspace in the past and couldn't immediately recall a Thudaal colleague, but then again most of his ex-colleagues were rather bigoted so they probably wouldn't even have allowed a Thudaal to work there.

    Felix chuckled at the sight of the cramped office. "This takes me back", he muttered softly and continued the train of thought in his head, thinking "yet my office wasn't nearly as tidy". "I'll have a glass of water, if it's not too much hassle. Thankee very much." Whilst waiting for his water, the Chimeran was quick to cut to the chase, thankful for this opportunity. "So, Agent Oddsphere, what cases have you got on your hands? How can we help you out?" Felix scanned the room and took out a datapad in case he needed to make notes. OoC: Stats are fine

    Felix made his way through the ever-bustling Bazaar of Ebria Station. He checked his PDA and frowned as he saw his meagre bank account. Passing Mynot's stall, the Chimeran briefly eyed the Grenades before letting go of the thought of buying some. "Not really my style." He stopped at Sathos' Stimulants where he perused the wares, finally settling on 1x Plasma Potion for a total of 10 Credits, which left his account completely empty now.
