  1. I think they're three-colored. Tahu's seem to have a bit of yellow or orange in them besides the gold and red, so it doesn't seem to strange for Onua's and Terak's to be gold, grey and tr. purple, which would align nicely with Korgot's shoulder armor color.
  2. I'd imagine that a Droideka would either be the star of the wave, using a large build, or use a special piece for the ball-like leg base, giving it the Chima spider legs and in general having a relatively simple build. So yeah, I think a Droideka would either be Grievous-sized or just an average sized or even small set, depending on whether LEGO's willing to make a mook, albeit an impressive and imposing one, the star of a wave.
  3. More droids. All the droids. Ever. And I'd like to preemptively point out the ridiculous impossibility of a CCBS Sarlacc.
  4. It's too bad that Grievous seems to be sold out at all the shops I can reasonably get to. He's the first really large properly CCBS titan we've gotten, and I fear that we won't be getting such a set again anytime soon.
  5. Yeah, Gali has that little platform on her mask, for example. But the problem with Onua's symbol's placement is that it ends up on the edge of the gold/translucent blend, which looks rather strange. Also, Pohatu's fang-like motif on his chestplate looks kind of silly. I just find it strange that people seem to think that every female character has to have a certain body type or they're not feminine enough. I was responding to wghost.
  6. Yeah, it always weird me out that people seem to not understand that there's more than one healthy female body type. Come on posters, people can be heavily built or lightly built regardless of most other factors.
  7. There's a printed 2x2 round tile with hole in the middle in the Zeppelin that'd make a perfect Samurai X boomerang. Dang, that's a nice print. The distribution of white also looks a lot better. Plus, lime green Anacondrai head. Still not sure what to think of Tiger Widow island though. Misfortune's keep looks better than in previous prelims, although it doesn't look as gloriously skull-rockface-like as it could have due to the random wheels. The strangest part is how neutral Jay's eyepatched face looks, despite him actually being in a situation where a grimace would be more appropriate for once. Also, I think Jay's dragon uses either Metalbeard's beard in dark blue or some very strange new piece. Bikes are still pathetic.
  8. So the Earth Crystals really seem to be a blend of grey and tr. purple, plus we don't seem to be getting 5m tr. purple shells, only 4m ones. On the positive side, those studs on Onua's Gatllehammer (Gatling gun + battlehammer) are definitely tr. purple. The runes will definitely make the Creature heads less useful to me though. Also, way way too much technic in all of these, as far as I can tell.
  9. Fundamentalists, i.e. the one group likely to get angry for something like this anyway, are known for attacking franchises for the morals of the villain anyway...There's an obvious joke there, but I don't want anyone to take it the wrong way.
  10. As far as I know, paralysis below the waist doesn't prevent someone from having children even in the real world.
  11. Very nice. The flag gave it a lot of Nexo Knights feel, though. Was there a structural reason for removing it?
  12. Considering that Cole's dragon seems to have a silver and white blade, I wouldn't be surprised.
  13. Personally I'm guessing a generic mysterious past for Jay's parents will be revealed, which forced them to change their last name. So far we have "former adventurer and friend of Wu" for Kai and Nya's father, "roboticist, once-revived" for Zane's and a relatively plain somewhat overbearing father for Cole.
  14. Personally, I would like to see storm use a combination of purple and lavender. Lightning comes in many colors, but purple lightning is by far the coolest, and while purple is being produced in large amounts, we haven't had any lavender CCBS pieces yet.
  15. I'm not offended. I'm just trying to clarify that that's why I think that explanation wouldn't, well, explain the Hagenman brothers' statement.
  16. That still wouldn't change his real last name, because the last name of his adoptive parents is his real one. That's part of adoption. A little off-topic, but it really annoys me when people act like adoptive parents are less important than biological ones.
  17. While I didn't like it at first, when I got the sets in hand I learned to appreciate the gearboxes. They don't look too bad, they open up extra connection points and they can easily be reused for lots of custom functions.
  18. It looks pretty good, a lot better than that redesign, but I'm not sure if it measures up to the version at the top of the topic.
  19. Personally, the difference in how I see the Masks of Control: Show version: some kind of elegant gargoyle Set version: bald guy with a goatee Neither version really looks excessively evil, but the set version looks less impressive and regal. Less "old smith-king of Okoto" and more "ancient wiseman advisor".
  20. The "adopted" bit wouldn't change his last name though, so it doesn't really work as an explanation for what the writers said.
  21. I like this. The name is kind of ironic, seeing as this'd be perfect for a large Nexo Knights' chess set's tower pieces. I love the little touches, like the jets and the little hatch at the front.
  22. So far, with only minimal knowledge of their in-show personalities: Macy Axl Aaron Clay and Lance
  23. I prefer a figure around as tall as Grievous, less wide, but more heavily armored and as a result possesing fewer gaps.
  24. Macy is obviously the best knight.
  25. Look at the upper part of the golden crystal add-ons on his paws. They look pretty grey to me. Light grey, to be specific.
