Wow. The colorscheme, while not the "original" one, is pretty great. The massive motor block is greeble heaven, the legs make it look very insectoid and the printed plates on the underside just finish it off.
-
Another awesome one. The slightly changed color scheme works better, I think.
-
Pretty nice. It's samurai-style armor skirt works well, and the lance itself is also great.
-
There are six original toa, not five. This MOC is pretty good anyway, though. I'd recommend changing his weapon to something closer to his original axe.
-
Well, the colors work quite well, but because of the bad lighting, I can't see much of it.
-
Pretty good. Some of the armor placement doesn't work too well, but the colors are good. I'd recommend placing the armor and add-ons so a segment "flows" gradually from a thick part to a thin one.
-
Well, first things first, get the colors fixed up. White+blue+brown+black+green does not look good.
-
With a bit of simple modding (about six pieces) you can give it some reasonable suspension, though. And the function works reasonably well.

I'm pretty sure the cancellation is fake, although it might be true. Anyway, that Raven Vehicle drawing is awesome. Too bad the set isn't anywhere near as good.
-
Well, the cockpit placement is pretty interesting. Are those turbine engines on the sides?

The black-and-blue guy's up-side-down visor works well. I'll post some of my figs soon.

Those hardsuits are amazing. For combat the first is definitely the best, for smuggling the second one.
-
I thought it resembled that. Still, you've made some pretty good changes.

If it wasn't for Laval's blue Rocka blades, I'd be picking up Eris instead. You did a good job turning my opinion on this one around.

Legends of Chima 2013 (Action Figures)
DraikNova replied to DarkSurgeXL's topic in LEGO Action Figures
It's kind of surprising that the combiner is a "super-Eris" in stead of a "super-Laval". After all, Laval is pretty much the main character. -
Well, the Brickmaster Book sure has better models than that of any other theme I've seen. The colors actually make sense.

Propeller 1 Blade 16L with Axle
DraikNova replied to Corydoras's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
I've found that if you repeatedly bend it back slightly it doesn't help at all, but if you then just leave them alone for a while, they'll straighten out by themselves. -
I might get it just for all the glorious tr. light blue

Wow. Two things: 1. That's the first time I've ever seen someone use that old windscreen/dome piece in a LDD MOC (or any MOC, for that matter). 2. This combines the feel of classic space with that of City perfectly.

I´ve got some ideas for how to improve Limup; try adding Ehlek heads as shoulder armor, as that´s one area where he´s got a lot of gaps, I´d also suggest moving the spines forward slightly (perhaps connecting them to the same area as the head, or maybe the head itself) and changing the tail to a less rigid, multi-segment ball joint one. The head is pretty much perfect, but the green spikes would look better mounted backwards or sideways, so they´d look more like ears. EDIT: Oh, and dust the pieces off .

Looks like a pretty good start for a WIP. I´d suggest adding a few bricks in between the top two layers of your current build.

Louise Dade has come up with a pretty good design.

Completely. And. Utterly. AWESOME. Seriously, even unfinished that thing is packed to the notch with details. And some pretty creative ones, too.
-
Wow. This thing is clearly both heavily-armored as well as -armed.

Too much awesomeness: Spyrius My favorite of the figures has got to be the assassin droid, for sheer creativity of part usage. While the Recon Mech is slightly awkward-looking, the Spy Saucer looks swooshable. And the transformation (into a base? Or is it a sort of spider robot?) is rather impressive. Space Police Nothing too impressive, but the green suit has some good color balance. Ice Planet The service droid looks interesting and not too complicated. Blacktron Well, the left-most one (the one with the eye-slit) stands out most out of the "basic" ones. I think it's the visor that helps here. The raiders/agents look rather impressive. Again, the visor helps a lot.
