  1. Very nice build Ayrlego, the ground pattern looks great, so does the med. dark flesh and white! The slight slant over the windows is really good too!
  2. I really like the pier half built into the sand! Looks great!
  3. Another builder showing off his wildcats... Great jungle Bregir, and I really like the bridge! Looks like a place Don Montoya would enjoy looking at!
  4. You're not supposed to go on THAT side of the lighthouse!! Thanks Garmadon!
  5. Thank you! The half arch worked well indeed, I think it's a concept I'll have to revisit!
  6. Thanks SilentWolf! The tree was to a certain extent an afterthought, but I'm sure glad I added it!
  7. My main character is young Guy K. Wyndzon, former MCTC leader. Other notable/active characters of mine are, Guy's irascible (and nameless) Uncle: Guy's Uncle's wife, Elaine: The slightly crazy Captain Argentum, who is a good friend and partisan of King Fernando, and a good enemy of Oleon, Corrington, the Sea Rats, and anyone else who King Fernado wants to offend: And Captain Argentum's Terraversean fiancee (who hasn't done much... yet): Looking forward to getting some good storytelling done in Era II! Until then, I think I've got a bit of rule reading to catch up on...
  8. I think that happens to the younger generations. Nice quirky build, Captain! I also was unaware that bagpipes were an Eslandian instrument. I'm quite interested in knowing what part exactly they play in Lady Asma's master plans...
  9. Brilliant way to bury the crystal! Looks great!
  10. Great use of vegetation pieces! Upside-down bamboo leaves - I'll totally need to keep that one in mind.
  11. Thank you Capt Wolf! Thanks Faladrin! It had been way too long since I built some dark grey rock! Thank you! It took me a while to hit on the right color for the background but the black worked out well! Thanks Captain! Thank you! Mesmerizing - perfect word. As for the tree, I just stuck those tan pieces in wherever they'd fit. Thanks! They're not so difficult, and like anything else, practice makes progress, so do try one out sometime!
  12. Great to see you contribute to the Park, Captain! And a very nice contribution too, I really like the way you interspersed blue with the crystal!
  13. Very nice team Capt Wolf! The pineapple is great!
  14. Nice pair of teams! The idea of an islander team is really great. Good work on the buildings too!
  15. Great build SK, the snowscape is ace! The door built into the rock also looks really good and the way you did the floor inside with the diagonal tiles and the small gaps is awesome! And the double ambush is a neat concept too!
  16. I really love the concept behind this, the colors play together so well too! And that's a lot of windows!
  17. Another great section from you! I really like the statues here, very imposing height for the pedestal too! The entrance and then two arches on either side is really nice, looks like it could accommodate large crowds with ease!
  18. Awesome job Capt Wolf, you've nailed the style of architecture here! The bell tower is great, so is the white and dark tan scheme!
  19. Great build Sir Stig, very impressive size! I really like the climbing vines, and the statues too! The interior is looking really good also, some very neat architectural details in there - I really like that black window with all the arches and the climbing open arch section behind the stairs is excellent as well!
  20. Very creative use of those treasure chest tops! Nice job on the vegetation too!
  21. So many tan tooth pieces! Very nice build, I really like the subtle texture in the walls with rounds and cheese slopes!
  22. Here is my contribution to Brickwall Memorial Park! Located as it is, in the port city of Fuerte Unido, the park offers a wonderful view of the Fuerte Unido lighthouse, known among residents as the Seaweed Point Lighthouse, or just "The Seaweed," when they're talking fast. This name, of course, comes from the strange orange seaweed that can be found on the lighthouse rock and the rocky beaches near it during certain seasons of the year. Not only is the strange seaweed and the lighthouse itself an attraction, but an ancient gnarled tree, somehow finding sustenance on the rocky beach itself, has proved a marvel to many visitors. This area of the park is rather retired and therefore often solitary; but it's not unlikely to become a prime spot in the years to come, considering the excellent view it has to offer. The full build: This would have been fun to build, if I hadn't left it for such a last minute. But I couldn't help it, my rock pieces were tied up until just yesterday. Trying out the orange for seaweed was enjoyable nonetheless, I took inspiration for it and the lighthouse itself from the Les Eclaireurs Lighthouse in Argentina. And I found some random pictures of trees growing out of rocks, so that isn't such an imaginative stretch. C&C welcome!
  23. Cheese slopes aren't essentials?!?!?! They would be for me...
  24. Another really sweet build, great job on the tavern especially the top story. You've nailed an autumn mood with those colors and trees - speaking of the trees, they look so good without being overly complex! The only thing I'm not sure about is the roof... I think I'm cringing over such a big slab of one color where the rest of the build is full of gradients. A few of those hanging tooth pieces in tan to break up the line at the bottom would have helped too, but you may not have any. Nonetheless a great build, and you are really going the extra mile here building for Hojaroja, thank you!
