  1. I find it's almost the complete opposite with myself. I think I post too little in GoH, which should be changing in the next couple of weeks once I get phase one of a 3 year building project finished.
  2. Shortly after the BLG established, Secris joined as the first wizard. He is skilled in multiple forms of elemental and arcane magic, but he specifically has a mastery of fire magic. As a high elf, he is generally in tune with magic and possesses the ability to sense magical creatures or auras. He is typically a Neutral Good, tending not to use dark magic or lean towards dark options. Whenever a magic creature needs to be slain or a magic artifact needs to be recovered, he is the one to take along for the quest. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Overall MOC Side View Member 18/25 Hope you all enjoyed the MOC. As usual Decals by Saber-Scorpion C&C is always welcome and appreciated!!!
  3. While the kingdom of Faermoore does utilize smaller siege weapons like the "Boomer" its pride comes from this marvel of magic and black powder. The "Fury" siege tank is the primary siege weapon of the dwarfs. It utilizes a powerful cannon that is easily capable of toppling the strongest walls. The tank is operated by two: one driver and one cannon operator. Side View Back View Operation The driver uses a device to jump start the magestone, which gives this vehicle the ability to move. Once that is accomplished, the four levers can control backward, forward, and side to side movement through several connections which are built beneath the tank (not actually built out due to complications). Each magestone is capable of powering a tank for several hours before needing to be replaced. In the back is the cannon operator. Using the lever on the left (not seen in pic, but actually built) the cannon can be turned left and right. The red lever is responsible for firing, while the wheel in the center is responsible for loading additional rounds. I hope you all enjoy it. As usual C&C is always welcome and appreciated!!!
  4. Maria was the last person to join the BLG. Having been raised among wanderers of the Savadjik Desert, she is a very skilled thief and dagger expert. Most of the times, she uses different devices and her natural dexterity to avoid fighting opponents; in some cases, she will actually disable combatants before fleeing. However, when she does fight, her close combat skills are fierce. Maria typically has a neutral chaotic alignment, and she can seem somewhat "out there" at times. However, her different approach to combat makes her exceptional when it comes to quest requiring stealth or speed. Anywho, 8 more vigs left then a big surprise! As usual Decals by Saber-Scorpion C&C is always welcome and appreciated!!!
  5. Okay, there are those pictures and a cool explanation. I really like the design of this, it does have a pretty cool old-timey submarine look, and it is not too advanced which is awesome. Keep up the good work!
  6. That's... interesting to say the least. Got a link with more pictures? I see one of those orbs underneath the front of the ship
  7. I'm really liking the environment! The grass is pretty cool, and the ruins are spot on. Can't wait to see more
  8. I don't even know where to begin... The chair and chandelier designs are just amazing. Truth be told, this entire MOC is amazing!
  9. I'd love to relax at a place like this Keep it up!
  10. As you're aware, the first five tips have brought you plenty of deaths and mistakes, but I believe it is time to mention some tips that aren't necessarily dealing with death directly. Tip #6 - Repair! Repair! Repair! Most newbies will run through countless battles without taking their weapons or armor to the local blacksmith. Remember, if you're gear breaks in battle, you're not going to live too long. So remember people... Visit your local blacksmith today and fix that gear! Or if you've got the skill, do it yourself! ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- While not necessarily gory or filled with death, as stated, the next couple of tips will feature more practical tips than wacky ways to die. That being said, I'm not finished with those wacky ways to die so don't worry about that! This is just an attempt to adjust based on some useful criticism I've received lately. Stay tuned for HNGK: A Guide for New Beginners Tip #7 As usual C&C is always welcome and appreciated!!!
  11. I'm really liking the evil feel to this land! Great MOC
  12. Carahil was one of the latest members to join the BLG. She is a skilled bounty hunter and rifleman. Along with ranged combat, she is quite the dirty fighter in close combat as well, making her a good choice to bring along when dealing with bandits or pirates. Carahil generally follows a Lawful Neutral alignment, which generally makes her relatively easy to get along with. If ever you find yourself with a bounty on your head, she'll easily become your worst nightmare. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Overall MOC Side View (completely failed to realize the picture is tilted) View of the Order of Lions paladins Member 16/25 Hope you all enjoyed the MOC. I wanted to build something indoors for a change. As usual C&C is always welcome and appreciated!!!
  13. That is from the old Doctor Frankenstein's castle (I think it works well as a magic barrier).
  14. I really like your row boat design!
  15. Can't wait to see this in August! It's literally 10 minutes from my house
  16. Yeah, my light set up isn't necessarily the greatest primarily because I don't use outdoor light. It also doesn't help that due to recent home renovations, I can't take pictures where I normally do (which is on a dining room table). In terms of the light I do have, I usually have 5 lights surrounding the area with the 6th one being right above the MOC.
  17. Well, I've just noticed a couple of rather interesting comments from some Mitgardians, that's all. Again having little interaction with the guild itself at this point (I'm still fairly new), I'm just curious.
  18. Rakath Patrol MOC: http://www.eurobrick...showtopic=83209 On a side note: We seem to be picking up some Mitgardian hate lately. Should I be worried about that in the least bit?
  19. With our fort now established on the Qar-Akhen River, Lukan and I set off towards the Rakath Mountains. We had heard rumors of desert bandits making their home somewhere in the mountains, however, we were not expecting to find mummies. I recall hearing several citizens of Mypa Stedor mention a group of mummies that were allied with Kaliphlin, but these guys obviously weren't. We're going to have to tread lightly; we can't afford to keep getting ambushed. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Overall MOC I'm slowly starting to work on taking different angle shots so here's one of the "interesting" shots. With any luck, I'll be able to follow this up with something better. I just got back to building after having a huge house renovation (couldn't get to my pieces). As usual C&C is always welcome and appreciated!!!
  20. I love the use of the clock as an actual piece! This MOC is really detailed as well. Keep up the good work
  21. After the BLG had been established, Kayla found herself being recruited because of her victories. Hailing from Northshire, she is a skilled swordsman and trap maker. Having hunted among the Nords, she is also very tough and naturally resistant against the cold. Generally, she has more of a neutral good alignment. Among the members of the BLG, she is by far the toughest woman; her strength and skill rivals many of the toughest men of the guild. Right Hand: Warding Edge Left Hand: Warding Edge (Twin Warding Edge is technically the weapon's name) Armor: Nordic Huntsman Armor ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Overall MOC Back View Lower Angle Member 15/25 Hope you enjoy the MOC and glad to be building! As usual C&C is always welcome and appreciated!!!
  22. I love the use of the army men stand as a patch of grass; I've never seen it used like that before!
  23. I for one don't see the need for hostages outside of war; besides, it shows you're more of an underhanded individual.
  24. Another one of the Lancer variants, here's the Lancer "Devil" Compared to the standard model, this model is not as fast, but it has more armor. This speeder is also used as a cavalry speeder, and the additional vents and flaps allow for better maneuvering, and reduces the chances of overheating in hotter climates. Close up of the front I managed to trim down the box shape, but it still seems slightly off. The Devil holds a standard for faction display as well as compartments for storing supplies Driver Point of View Steering flaps underneath the speeder Mysterious Smuggler with Lancer "Devil" Hope you enjoyed the quick MOC As usual Decals by Saber-Scorpion C&C is always welcome and appreciated!!!
  25. First off, let me just say that this MOC was inspired by an awesome creation. It inspired me so much, that I felt I needed to create my own. This is the J18 Lancer, the main method of transportation across warzones and dangerous environments. This vehicle is also used as cavalry among certain mercenary groups. Simple ribbed, frontal design I'll admit that I'm not too found of the block shape here, I still think it turned out pretty nice. Engine, comm uplink, and lance for displaying faction affiliation Driver's point of view Mysterious Rogue with Lancer I hope you enjoyed the MOC As usual Decals by Saber-Scorpion C&C is always welcome and appreciated!!!
