The Office Ideas project will be rejected because another company (a toy manufacturer that I have never heard of before called PhatMojo) acquired the license. The substandard 369 piece set is going for a whopping 120 USD! Given the length of the show is being in hiatus, it is too much of a coincidence that the acquisition of the license is not related to the IDEAS project reaching 10,000 votes. TLG needs to drastically expedite the IDEAS process because other projects are going to suffer the same fate.

No, I was referring to the Assault of Hoth monstrosity. I thought the Tantive received good reviews. What were the issues? The sad bit is that the relative failure of these two Hoth based UCS sets probably adversely affected the chances of getting a UCS AT-AT.

I agree. Lego designers dropped the ball on two consecutive ESB UCS sets. Hardly confirmation that the AFOL segment is small, but rather they are discerning.

Well, that's a shame. You're probably right, since the submitter carefully left out any reference to Futurama, which is a pretty disingenuous thing to do, to be honest. Anyhow, as far as the projects currently in review, even though I am big fan of The Office I hope it doesn't get made into a set only because LEGO IDEAS is going to be inundated by every TV show in existence. That said, the 30th ANNIVERSARY SEINFELD set is very close to 10,000 votes and is a certainty to hit the shelves following the success of the Friends set.

Has anybody recreated the smoke from the original Ideas submission? I am not sure of the connector piece

I don't get the hate surrounding Carnage's tentacles... they use the same pieces as Ms Marvel and Elastigirl with a new piece at the end, which is an upgrade on the previous generic tentacles that were difficult to pose in any meaningful way.

Since this is a LEGO IDEAS project, I seriously think that would detract from the marketability of the set. It would also detract from the other great features of the project such as the gazebo, fountain and tree swing.

Thanks for your response guys. Do they actually keep domestic stock in Australia or does it come from overseas? Their shipment times tend to be long. I want to pull the trigger on the Sandcrawler but i am afraid its going to be reduced after Christmas.
