    If you are missing parts you can always contact lego customer service and mostly sent the parts for free. The difference between black and dark grey is indeed hard to see in the instructions

    Those are Unimog tyres. You need 10 of them.

    How about a truck with a (un)loading deck/board on the back. Not sure how it is called in english.

    The 8256 B model was a lawn-tractor, but this one is much more realistic and bigger.

    Maybe a tracked dumper, I see those more and more a construction sites, especially roadbuilding.

    I bought and built my 42042 yesterday, of course I got some parts left, bushes and pins as usual but also a 16 long link.

    Can't wait for the extra instructions. My truck is almost finished, I have to buy the extra parts needed for the trailer. Jaap are you at Legoworld this week, maybe we could meet, I am going tomorrow.

    I got a V2 receiver and servo - motor for €40

    Maybe look for a nice priced 8262 of 8081 you get those parts and lot more.

    I am finished sorting parts. I need about 700 parts more, mostly small plates and tiles and some bricks. Maybe I can find some at Legoworld in Utrecht next week.

    I have seen a 9 axle crane on the highway last week, think it was a Liebherr, from Mammoet. Never seen anything bigger in real-life

    The truck that I am building is mostly black, if the combination is finished I will see if truck needs some color

    2legoornot2lego, some technic parts are not available in yellow but as far as I have seen all the parts come in red and yellow so that won't be a problem

    I recently have seen this chopper on discovery channel and it amazed me. Seeing it in a Lego version is very nice.

    I have that same frame in red and without excessive force it is impossible to remove the pins

    I'm working on a truck now, based on designer Han's 10x4 dumptruck with the Arocs cabin and then start building the Nooteboom trailer.

    I found another error in the instructions, on page 328 the front bumper is already on the truck, only on page 329 you start assembling it. I noticed it today when I built my second Arocs cabin for another truck

    Just ordered the instructions, now I have to see how many parts I need to order

    Looking at the pictures, I think those are 22253 wheels with 49.6x28 VR tyres. I already got 16 of those in metallic silver.

    I got one or two V2 receivers, but maybe I got to buy some more parts.
