Great thread, this is also my next build having just finished bricklinking the 10179 falcon. Given i'm fussy as hell and insist on having everything the way lego released it, i think it'll be more cost effective to wait until a good secondhand set comes up for sale, some of those sand green prices, yikes!

Listed on S@H au that it's now retired. Glad i grabbed 4 of these at the sales. Mainly for the bits and track anyway but i wanted to have a crack at powering this one as well.

Hey all, I'm in the process of buying another 10219 set and just wanted to know what i would need to power the second engine as i'm going for a long setup and will need the pulling power. So basically my question is, can i just get away with buying another 88002 motor and extension and run it off the front battery box and controller or will i need another complete pf setup for the second engine? Any help would be greatly appreciated as i don't want to buy what i don't need! Thanks guys.

Picked up POTC london escape for half price. Also took delivery of some orders from bricklink including 10221 SSD and another 8043 excavator(my favorites. I own a fleet of real ones!) Also drove 4 hours to pick up a heap of lego from a guy selling his collection up. Included in the heap were such gems as the 10134 y wing, 8285 tow truck, 10024 red baron and so on, they are still new in their boxes!. Picked it up for a song too which was a bonus. Been a good couple of weeks for me

Can't wait to get it all home this weekend!!

Browsed by the amazon site last night and discovered that they would ship me a UCS imperial shuttle for $285AU to oz! I jumped at it considering i've never seen them offer shipping on that particular one to australia.

I'm still considering this, but a guy has contacted me with a secondhand set for sale at $1200 AU with all the parts and original manual in mint condition so i'll probably be taking that route, just doesn't have the box but i can live with that!

For anyone who's interested, i seen some hogwarts express trains marked down to $100 recently. Tucked away in a little toyworld store in a sleepy little rural town, and they still had about 6 left. :)

In regards to the town hall, i bought mine shipped for $260 aud earlier this year from the states. You can land the FB and GE in aussie at the moment for around the $170 au which is pretty good buying. I think you'll be waiting a while for the TH to hit those lows, if ever. I'm constantly scanning the amazon sites for sets i want which don't currently ship here, time to time they seem to pop up. I've been making my purchases on bricklink lately, shipping from some stores there is quite reasonable, just gotta look.
