Coming from mainly Technic building, this seems like a no-brainer. But whatever.- 7 replies

Impossible LEGO
pluto7443 replied to Boxerlego's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
24t gear in the center of a large turntable. And, quite literally, apart: ll you need to do is just slip something thin and fairly strong, like a butter knife, into the crack between the two halves. Give it a twist, and they come apart. -
Sorry, didn't notice your post there. Not enough bolded and italicized words.

I saw "Mun" and I immediately knew I had to look. KSP is an awesome game. :P

Z-4 Titan
pluto7443 replied to pluto7443's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Yes, the rear steering is able to be disabled. There is a switch in the cab on the truck. It selects normal four wheel, crab, or two wheel when it is off. -
Z-4 Titan
pluto7443 replied to pluto7443's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
I had forgotten that he had named one the Titan. Oh well. No, I don't have a video, I might make one if it becomes dry enough at the empty lot near my apartment. -
Hello, this is my first Technic project on Eurobricks, so please bear with me if it seems not as good as the other creations here. This is the Z-4 Titan. I created the Z-1 through 3 on NXTLOG, and you can see them in my NXTLOG Creations topic. This is my second true Trial Truck, though it isn't based off any real-life vehicle. The first one used the same steering axle design, and a non-steered rear axle. It also only had one XL motor, mounted sideways and using a complex gear train to reach the common driveshaft. It was somewhat underpowered and unreliable, not to mention top-heavy, so I removed the axles and redesigned the rest. I also took apart the non-steered rear axle and copied the front steering one. Now, the Titan has 2 XL motors mounted between the axles, and each motor drives one axle. The axles are both 4-link (I think that is the right name), and each have an M motor for steering. As such, they have no mechanical link to each other and so the steering easily gets out of sync. The suspension uses Unimog parts, and other than them, is completely my design. Each M motor is geared down 1:9. Here are some pics: Thanks for looking! All comments and criticism are welcome. Keep in mind my selection of panels is small, so I can't do that good of a body design.

Welcome to Ameribricks.com - Major Changes Coming!
pluto7443 replied to Shadows's topic in Forum Information and Help
This whole AmeriBricks thing has got to be a joke, cause we all know it should be CanadaBricks anyway. :roflmao: -
Hopefully it gets licensed out. I mean, even the BattleFront series was not actually made by LucasArts, so there could still be hope. Good job Disney, on infuriating the whole Internet.

My NXTLOG Creations
pluto7443 replied to pluto7443's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Thanks! yeah, I don't have a whole lot to work with, as I don't have paypal or anything to use Bricklink with. All of the pieces I used came from sets I got. The biggest set I had by the end of those creations would have been probably the Bionicle Axalara T9, but soon after the last one I got the Motorized Excavator, and this past year I got the Unimog. I may soon post my current PF vehicle, which looks quite a bit better than any of these.- 3 replies

Well, I posted a lot on NXTLOG before I ever discovered EuroBricks, and so instead of reposting all of my creations, most of which weren't that great anyway, I decided to just summarize them here and provide links to each of the projects. So, here goes. I don't have any pics of my first creation on this computer, so here is just a link: http://us.mindstorms...c4-65e19addb8b4 X-1 Speed Boost Link: http://us.mindstorms...01-2421bc026580 X-1 Speed Boost Mk.2 Link: http://us.mindstorms...43-2f3d841fe7b2 X-2 Black Scepter Link: http://us.mindstorms...01-04630d644675 X-2 Black Scepter Mk.2 Link: http://us.mindstorms...01-b4874ff0b925 ULTRA (Ultimate Lego TRacked Attacker) Link: http://us.mindstorms...70-94ef06375900 X-3 Kilo-Carrier Link: http://us.mindstorms...ed-ef3ee2d5725f Z-1 Heavy Explorer (First Wheeled Vehicle) (Sorry, can't find any pics on my current computer of this one either.)
