  1. And my parents think my collection is too big at 13,000ish.
  2. I was at Sherway their opening day. The line was a good 150 ft long! Sherway's pick-a-brick seems to have just plates and normal bricks mostly.
  3. It looks like Lego tried to make it a solid, structurally sound vehicle instead of focusing on performance as much. They designed it knowing people would take it outside if it can take that sort of punishment in Conchas' outdoor video. We'll have to "test" it to see when it breaks.
  4. I happen to own the 8071 Bucket Truck, however I would recommend getting one of the others unless you really want some small white panels. The set is quite small. I did find it fun to drive around though, and not impossible to motorize, though difficult.
  5. Is it possible to connect them right without taking them apart? I know you could do it with the old 9v system, but I'm not sure it's possible to do it with pf
  6. Well, I revised it slightly (used a larger motorcycle wheel and more supports) and it seems to handle weight surprisingly well. However, I think it would lack traction.
  7. I saw this topic and I immediately thought of this: (The pic's the attachment since I don't have flickr or anything) The inner track is just wrapped tightly around the tire.
  8. I have those tires too. They would make it really easy, because they have very little grip.
  9. This set which was my first large Technic set was fairly big and had plenty of blue beams, however, the underlying frame was dark grey and black. The body could detach by removing about 3 pins.
  10. 8043 isn't that complicated to build. It only took me about 6 hours.
  11. I've been trying to decide between the Unimog and the Crawler, and if the Crawler had Power Puller wheels, the Crawler would win hands down.
  12. An excellent creation, other than the cabin needing to be bigger.
  13. I got the 1.0 for my birthday about a week before the 2.0 came out, which sucked.
  14. I'd love to see a video, even if it's just a WIP still.
  15. Well, a TFOL can be chalked up to Canada. I live about an hour from Kitchener-Waterloo, Ontario
