  1. "Yeah, that's my name, miss." "As for what's goin' on, well, it would appear that this building has been transported into a place called "The Void", and somethin's turnin' things in here that normally wouldn't be dangerous into monsters. Could be caused by a crazy wizard, though I don't yet know how or why. He looks responsible for that Mopag kid's death, though, so I'd quite like to talk to 'im, after we've got all the civilians out." "You got different views?" Erik follows the rest of the party.
  2. Erik looks suspiciously at the door, and closes it. "Don't want demons sneaking through here and stabbing us in the back." He backs away from it. "I think this is the East Wing. We'd need to go through that..." he waves an axe at the door ..."to get down to the first floor. We want to try the last room in the West Wing."
  3. Erik tries to take the torch out of the bracket on the wall.
  4. Oh hold on, I'm not Pretzel. He's Palathadric. I just meant to point out that other people have shields you could probably get a better deal on, rather than the marketplace, and Pretzel was the first example that came to mind.
  5. Pretzel has three shields. When he gets back from #92 Em might be able to buy one off him. Well, he uses one. Two of them he doesn't really use.
  6. Erik dumps the corpse in the box. "We aren't sending the corpse back now? We might as well, we've dragged it up here, and it won't take very long compared to how much time we've wasted on it already." "Well, if we are going for the artifact, I think it's in the first room on the left when we go up the stairs."
  7. Erik climbs up the stairs, the boys corpse slung over his shoulder. He stops about halfway up, as the corpse starts to slip, but adjusts his grip and continues to the top of the stairs, where he waits for the party to catch up.
  8. "Did we leave the box in the Physics classroom?" Erik picks up the boys corpse. "Nice meeting you, Senor Calacas."
  9. Upon realising the red cloaked man is a skeleton, Erik is somewhat taken aback, but recovers quickly when he realises Señor Calacas does not seem to be a demon, and seems amenable enough. "Ah, I suppose finding a use for bones makes sense, but I'm afraid his family has asked us to bring his body back for burial, so I'd prefer if you could leave it intact. We fought some creatures upstairs, though; I don't know if they had bones, but I could show you where they were, if you'd like?"
  10. "Woah, hold on guys, keep ya' heads on. Though if one of you rogues wants to run back and grab our other friends, that wouldn't hurt." Erik grabs onto the edge of the step he's standing on, lowers himself down as far as possible, and drops the rest of the way, before removing his Barbarian Boots and equipping his Peacekeepers Totem. "'Scuse me, sir, maybe if you'd care to explain what you're doin', we could give you some assistance?" He says diplomatically.
  11. "All these gods sitting around, who knows which one to follow? If one of 'em thinks their goals can be accomplished by me healin' someone, and so they decide to give me a hand with that, I won't complain. Otherwise, I'll try an' do what good I can on my own. Ritual transference of energy, bandages and herbs, that kind o' thing." "Sure, it'd be nice if his family has a chance to give him a proper burial, but if it comes to it, I'd rather we arrive too late and a corpse is eaten than we arrive too late and someone who would've survived otherwise is eaten."
  12. "There's still the staircase in the room at the end of the hall. I think it leads to the training room. We'll have to check there sooner or later, and it's right nearby now, but I'm okay with heading to the East Wing if you'd prefer."
  13. "It'll be good to have you helping, professor. Perhaps someone might have some extra equipment you can use." "I have no particular desire for the bomb; Noel may be the best person to hold onto it for now." "Speaking of which, Noel, I think you're experienced enough to wear that Sharkskin Armour, now." "And Sorrow, don't forget about the extra artifact you were going to use yourself."
  14. "Yeah, good point." Erik attacks the Rafflesia from the front row with both attacks from his Twin Axe.
  15. Erik attacks Vine A with both hits from his Twin Axe, while standing in the front row.
  16. If Vine C needs 2 hits to be K/O'ed, Erik attacks it twice. If it needs 1 hit to be K/O'ed, Erik attacks Vine C (and Vine F.) Otherwise, Erik attacks Vine E (and Vine F.) "Just leave Vine A, Sorrow, it won't hit us with it's free hit, and the Professor can last forever."
  17. "Ah, well I'll change my twin axe strikes to hit Vampiric Vine D (and E), from the back row, in case someone's already cut halfway through. Karie, there's no need for you to be in the front row, you'll cut just as far through them from the back."
  18. Erik attacks Vampiric Vine D (and E) from the Back Row with both attacks from his Twin Axe. "What do you guys think will happen if we chuck a bomb?"
  19. "Sounds good." Erik heads back towards Karie and Sorrow, unless anyone objects. Updated the map. It seems likely that the East wing is similar to the West wing, but that may not be the case.
  20. "Oh, okay. I thought they just didn't want to travel or get in the box with Noel, but that they'd be fine entering a room that he is in, getting into the box, and being teleported. They have survived being in the same room as him before. Or perhaps Noel could enter the room once they are already in the box. But you're probably right, it might be easier to wait until we find that other one. Amanda? Thought that was the one with the 'A' on her shirt. Whatever her name was." Melissa.
  21. "There's the two hiding in the lavatory, as well. What if Sorrow and Karie take Siobhan and pick them up, and the rest of us go to the box, then we send off the two Pointers, the two lavatory Chirls, and the two unaligned students? I think we should send off the Chirls as soon as possible; they seem to have the most prejudices, and don't get along with Noel, so they're the hardest to deal with." "There's still the other Chirl in the training room we might have to deal with anyway, but there's no gaurantee we'll even find her alive."
  22. "Professor Watt? We found him, patched him up, and sent him home already." Erik follows Heckz
  23. Erik follows Heckz, lowering his voice and joining the argument. "Yeah, hold on, I get that his sister wants to have a funeral for him, but it's not like he minds either way. He's dead. Maybe we can send him back later, but surely that can wait until we're about to leave? It's more important for us to save other people than to save a corpse."
  24. "Yeah, alright. Third door on the left sounds good. I seem to recall the girl saying her friend was on the first floor somewhere, in a training room, but I don't know how we'd get there without going through the possesed door. We haven't gone through the door at the end of the hallway, opposite to the one leading to the stairs, yet, have we? Might be another staircase that'd lead to the first floor there. Still, that can wait until we've cleared this wing."
  25. "Yeah, lets go back, but I don't think there's much point taking the box. It's heavy, and we've mostly cleared that wing anyway, so we'll be coming back this way when we go to clear the rest of the place."
