  1. You've certainly done I got job of it! The coat looks nice and sturdy. It appears you've changed the head though - are you using a Viking head?
  2. Yes, that's where I got that drawn image from but Little Armory actually had a photogenic image of a sword "kind of like" that. It was different though because it had serrations spanning the entire length of the blade and there was no bowl guard on the hilt.
  3. Would you lads see the movie in the cinemas should it come to a cinema near you?
  4. Another great MOC Mr ZCerberus but isn't a ballista more like a gigantic crossbow, like this...
  5. I have just highlighted the importance of thumbnails folks! So, has Bonaparte created the first physical version of this torso design?
  6. Egad! What a horrible first post that thread has! Some Moderator needs to go and clean it up with thumbnail links right away :-D Anyway Mr Tiber, did you mean this creation:
  7. Lets talk about Gabriel de La Croix shall we? Did you construct him yourself?
  8. I last looked 2 days ago... There was a broadsword but I'm not sure of the names of the other swords, but there was one that look kind of like this:

  14. And you're still managing to build Viking MOCs are well - you're incredible!
  15. This looks like a very mighty siege weapon! We have what appears to be a battering ram at the front with the overly futuristic looking missiles. Then at the back we have a cage for the prisoners and on top of that is a catapult. Now what's got me completely miffed is how does something like large and bulky move without a beast of burden to pull it? I'm assuming back in the days of Vikings there was no technology available to automate such a vehicle.
  16. I haven't checked this thread in a while because I thought I'd go away and get other things done then come back and see what progress has been made - and progress certainly has been made! How much of it has been completed? It appears there's more in the photogenic image than the MLCAD images.
  17. By all means share your thoughts and opinions if you wish to do so, just like you did earlier - you came up with some good ideas.
  18. When I last looked I'm sure there were 3 different kinds of swords for sale...
  19. And what I've been meaning to ask is: Do you have any ideas for your next Pirate themed MOC?
  20. Would a more traditional rope colour work with the average LEGO ship MOC? PS. What kind of camera did you get?
  21. It looks like this movie is going to get have a cinematic release - can anyone confirm that?
  22. East Timor is always in the news in Australia because troops are always being send there to restore order, but never once does the news once mention the East Timorees speak Portuguese. Useless news reports. Anyway... Back to the MOCing... Have you ever considered building a Portuguese fort?
  23. I thought he told me Red Bean... Either way it appears they're using the same mold for this beard which is what I had in mind when I made the post.
  24. Besides Portugal and Brazil, where else is the Portuguese language spoken?
  25. I've slightly modified the thread title to let everyone know this is a thread about a movie. I felt "Pirates of The Great Salt Lake" was a bit vague on its own, but perhaps as time goes on the movie will become more popular and thus its title will be more recognisable.
