Ok, so what's next? Is the UPF Crimson Blade the name official now?
-
I made the 4+ part up... Out of curiosity, what kind of ship did you intended it to be?
-
All of a sudden we have many talents torso designers appear - its great! Keep up the good work Mosana and good work for providing some background information Bonaparte!
-
I can compare them very easily X-D But indeed you are right, a military fortress is completely different from a trading post so that takes me back to the original question I posed in my first post.
-
What? You don't already have them? Are you insane? X-D But what about recommending just one for Mr Piranha who has to decide between one or the other?
-
Inconveniently the Brickshelf Folder has not yet been moderated. Posting at least one picture would have have made this thread purposeful, but as it stands you might as well of have waited until tomorrow before posting anything.

All prizes have been won! Congratulations to everybody who won a prize or three! Please send me a PM or an Email to Administrator@Classic-Pirates.com with your postage address. In the next 48 hours a thread will be created for those who'd like to share how they figured out the Prize Code and Magic Words. <div style="background: #fff; width: 500px; margin: 0 auto; border: 1px solid #000; padding: 15px 10px;">Many years ago Captain Cannonblast Sailed the Seven Seas in search of treasure. He hid his booty in a long forgotten cave protected by an enchanted guardian. Only those who knew the magic words could enter and marvel at the valuables within. Before he died, the captain drew a map and split it into three pieces, each piece containing a cryptic clue. One of these maps is here but the rest remain scattered throughout the cyber seas. The first brave adventurer to find all the maps and decipher the magic words will receive a 6242 Soldiers Fort and behold the treasures within. There are also 17 more LEGO prizes to be won along the way. But hurry! The tides are changing and the treasure cave may be completely flooded after February 1st. Be sure to follow us on Facebook, Twitter and the RSS Feed or Mailing List for more clues!</div> Do you DARE match wits with the Talking Skull? www.Classic-Pirates.com/Mystery

"Dead Men Tell No Tales" Vignette Contest - Discussion
Mister Phes replied to Norrington's topic in Pirate MOCs
You're in violation of your own rules so it would be unfair not to disqualify you. If you break the rules you get disqualified - no excuses, no exceptions. I suggest you re-read the tutorial again, this time more carefully, because it has worked for everyone who has used it before. So it is not the fault of the tutorial. What I suspect you're doing wrong is not specifying a new image size. -
"Dead Men Tell No Tales" Vignette Contest - Discussion
Mister Phes replied to Norrington's topic in Pirate MOCs
I cannot possibly give you instructions that are more comprehensive than what is provided in that tutorial - not short of going to your place and give you a demonstration. If you do not figure out how to perform a simple task like resize an image by the time the competition closes then there will be no choice but to disqualify you. -
"Dead Men Tell No Tales" Vignette Contest - Discussion
Mister Phes replied to Norrington's topic in Pirate MOCs
Mr Norrington in your rules you've stated that the image size may be no larger than 320 x 240 yet your images are all 640 x 480. You've also stated a maximum file size of 100KB, yet many of your images are over 200KB. So I must ask, why aren't you abiding by your own rules? For example 640 x 480 and 215KB... -

Mister Phes replied to Norrington's topic in Pirate MOCs
I haven't had a lot of time for this but I quickly put something together... This is all I've got so if it doesn't meet the requirements then don't use it because I'm not going to add more later. -
Glad yer like our emoticons Mr Piranha! I spent enough time working ont them X-D As for the question... It depends what kind of base you're looking for. Both sets are aptly titled - Eldorado Fortress is a Fortress and The Imperial Trading Post is a Trading Post. So if you want something with strong defensive capabilities then get Elodrado Fortress. If you want a place to sell and trade goods then get the Imperial Trading Post.

French Red Lancer and Austrian Uhlan
Mister Phes replied to woody64's topic in Minifig Customisation Workshop
They look quite nicely designed, very geometric, very symmetrical, but it would be interesting to see a couple of things: 1) A more photogenic (doesn't have to be an actual photograph as a painting would do) picture of the uniform these designs are based form 2) A photogenic (yes this one does have to be a photo X-D ) of a the custom design on a mini-figure. So what are the chances of either of those things happening? -
The reason tried the wood background is beacuse its the same wood texture used for the forum skin, so I thought it would bring some cohesion to the forum and the website. But I don't think that's been achieved and asthetically the wood doesn't look as good as the rock but its just as distracting. But it'll stay until next weekend...

French Red Lancer and Austrian Uhlan
Mister Phes replied to woody64's topic in Minifig Customisation Workshop
This is slightly off topic but... We seem to be having a lot of custom torsos posted these days so I'm wondering if it would it be benefitial to convert the Pirate LEGO Signature & Avatar Workshop into a Custom Graphics sub-forum? -
Mr Athos doesn't like digging around morasses X-D Did you ever finalise those hook designs Mr Oo7?
-
It depends on the time zone as to when "tomorrow" officially begins, but technically the birthday greetings should begin when the 22nd of April commences in Denmark.
-
Yes, the time has come! DoubleT is no longer in this 20's so this calls for a: BIRTHDAY GREETINGS!!! Old Chap X-D
-
Yes I agree. When I posted the information here I assumed consent was already given to Norrington (partly because much of the feedback had already been posted), however I should have double checked with you personally. A response Email has been sent to you. As I have other committments I was waiting until the weekend to finalise my response. Your request shall be honoured and respected. Trust and healthy relationships are of the utmost importance.

"Dead Men Tell No Tales" Vignette Contest - Discussion
Mister Phes replied to Norrington's topic in Pirate MOCs
When I posted this information in the other thread I was unaware consent hadn't been given, rather I assumed it had. Though, as the administrator of the forum I should have personally double checked with Ben Ellermann before doing so. Unless Norrington has stated otherwise privately, I believe he meant advertising on the main page of Eurobricks. I instructed him to contact Ben Ellermann to ascertain what would be appropriate for Classic-Castle. -
Ooooo! Oooooo! Does that statue come to life like in that episode of Astro Boy?
-
Yes, this ship is no more than rubble! But do not fret because it was one of those 4+ ships so its probably a good thing. X-D
