  1. Out of curiosity... What did you rate it Mr Wout? Final round of comments before this thread is moved to the Review Sub-Forum. Next pictorial review coming soon.
  2. Make-up tests? Are you studying to be a beauty queen Mr Norrington? X-D
  3. I called him Captain Majisto in the competition. But maybe we can come up with a better name in this thread.
  4. First familiarise yourself with Brickster's Wizard's Challenge. Click thumbnails to view larger image Click thumbnails to view larger image As I have limited castle pieces I decided to improvise with using Pirate pieces. For the workshop I created a pirate equivalent of 6020 Magic Shop, perhaps not a very original concept but given all the things I need to get done I don't really have the time to dream up some fabulous. :'-(
  5. What about a pirate guy with a wand? Since I have limited Castle pieces I improvised and incorporated in pirate pieces into the design, I call him Captain Majisto! I took a heap more pictures to make it worth my while, but so I don't bog the thread down they can be found here. Maybe this entry is appropriate but its the best I can do to support this competition with what I have available to me - short of a BrickLink order...
  6. 29th it is then. It was previously Saturday 28th, but it was pushed back to the 29th however the day wasn't updated.
  7. Mr Norrington your competence concerns me as you don't know when your own competition closes - even after we discussed the details through several PMs! But for the benefit of everyone who has forgotten the entries thread, here's the relevant information: So I'll close it on Monday my time since I'm about 20 hours ahead of the west coast of the USA.
  8. Do you have any progress pictures? They're always good to stimulate conversation and attract additional feedback - if that's what you require.

  14. Of course I must mention this with a biiiig X-D Replace the Imperial Guard mini-figures with their Armada counterparts and you'd have quite a nice concept for an Imperial Armada set happening there Mr Brickster.
  15. But he if make the ship longer then it'll be as large as the average LEGO Pirate ship. I say downsize the height of the hull! X-D
  16. Yeah, there are graphics for the rounded bottom which were there originally, but I removed that bit when I swapped over to the wood. But since this design is only temporary I won't bother adding back the rounded bottom edges.
  17. This was the first image to load and my initial reaction was eh? :-|| Its good to see not everyone is trying to build the biggest ship possible, but that's not to say that big ships are bad, its nice to see some variety. Paper sails, Mr oDDerFisken?
  18. Tuesday as it were. So is this going to be an Imperial Guard vessel or are they just on deck for viewing purposes? This ship looks too dark and evil for our dear Imperials.
  19. You have some competition Mr Bonaparte! You'll both have to build up your armies then war against each other - the victor gets to rule Belgium :-D
  20. Ah yes. It helps if one actually scrolls to the bottom of the thread to read to the new posts! But can we confirm what Bo created? Methinks a MOC of these proportions is a group effort.
  21. We eagerly await this day... Errr... Month... Yeah, I think aesthetically the rock looked better so I'm going to put that back since I'm submitted the website as part of my CV for this job I'm applying for. But I have a radically better design in the back of my head which I'll implement over the weekend - if it works in reality that is.
  22. All these new torso designs is going to keep Bonaparte flat out keeping the Torso Library uptodate X-D Which program are you using Mosana?
  23. I've just added a poll so vote away...
  24. The thought of fleshies in the Pirate theme doesn't seem appealing to me, but they do actually look good in the pictures. Mr Trooper, is there any particular reason you chose fleshies over old yellow heads?
  25. Well, my first comment is: Threads that have pictures in the first post command more attention and usually get more and faster responses. So I've put a picture there for you so your hard work can be seen by all! My second comment is: A flesh coloured Imperial army! I haven't seen a user with this many Imperial Guard "fleshies" before! My first question is: What happened to poor old Napoleon's face?
