Ah yes, I recall Bo and the wall technique he was using to depict scenes from Pirates of the Caribbean: Curse of the Black Pearl. But his Brickshelf folder does have any pictures of the scene show in the above video. He has however, got an empty folder called "portroyal" so maybe pictures are to be uploaded there.

Its the only use I've seen of that baseplate in a MOC X-D But I agree that it does work quite well!

Does anybody have any details on the event this MOC was on display at? It looks to be quite an impressive set up.

He really should do it himself if he's expecting anyone to look at those pictures. I feel for anyone with 56K dialup who wants to view them - they'd be here all week just waiting for one picture!

Mr Norrington could you take care of the image sizes - I assume you've learnt how to resize them by now.

I notice a common complaint amongst castle fans is there aren't enough civilian/peasant sets, does this every come up in Wild West? So what about a ranch or barn or windmill or something along the lines of an agricultural sub-theme? Is that appealing to Western fans or isn't it exciting enough?

Aren't there certain types of modelling clay that can be baked which retain their forms? I know we've discussed them before in other threads but right now I can't recall the name of the product or the thread we discussed them in. Can anyone else?

I recall acquiring 4 of the Master and Commander DVDs but I haven't got round to watching them yet. I was going to watch a Harryhausen DVD on the weekend but it didn't end up happening. I should be writing an art gallery review right now so I better get back to that for at least 5 minutes... But first I'll ask a MOC related question... Are you going to find a way of "smoothing" out the stern or will you leave it "jaggered" as it is?

There looks to be some interesting pictures in that Brickshelf folder. It will be good when Mr Norrington learns how to resize images because these ones are far too big for me to view at full size on my slowly 512K connection - it would take an hour just to wait for them all.

Yes I own them both, only got a box for Eldorado Fortress though. Yes, we do indeed. We still don't know what kind of base he's after - military or trading? Well obviously, its not like we can dictate the decision for him can we? X-D But he asked for an opinion so that's what I'll give him as soon as I get more information.
