Official LEGO Stories as Printed on Pirates Boxes
Mister Phes replied to Shadows's topic in LEGO Pirates
Finally we get to see these stories! You lads are doing a terrific job typing them up. This content will greatly enhance the set profiles on Classic-Pirates.com. Perhaps one day it would be awesome if we could get some pictures of the story as well. Not that they're exciting to look at but it would offer the a better experience to those who don't have the box. But for now just sourcing the stories is brilliant *y* -
A Guide to the Pirates Minifigures - Part II - The Soldiers
Mister Phes replied to TalonCard's topic in LEGO Pirates
None of this wouldn't be here if it wasn't for you Mr TalonCard so give yourself a rather lengthy pat on the back. I'm not sure why pats on the back are supposed to be a sign of reward, but anyway... -
I have a question for Mr Hinckley... Does "tip" (used as a verb, not an acronym) have mean the same in you area as it does in my area? What meaning you may ask... One that would make your town sound very unglamorous. X-D

Now that I've explained everything, I really do hope at least some of you will enjoy this comic! I've had a great time working on it so I hope it will be a nice entartainment for some of you! Stay tuned! That's been taken care of. How do you plan to release your story Mr Dreamweb? The upgraded Classic-Pirates.com will have a Stories Page in the Archive section to allow users to display their stories in HTML without having worry the layout restrictions of a thread. http://www.classic-pirates.com/archive/stories/index.html

I'm not quite sure. There's dozens of different settings to play around with in the Live Trace to get them look just right. I suppose there's always the option of manually adjusting them as well. If I wasn't so busy getting the website ready I'd do it myself. I suppose I'll have to have a "vectorisation" day sometime in the future and smooth out the jaggies in all the flags and maps. You're getting a good response in this thread. Perhaps your timing wasn't ideal when you posted the previous one - people just weren't into maps back then. X-D

Other Creatures - Giant Chickens!

To help you in your plight I've created a Maps Page in the Customs Section of Classic-Pirates.com. There's no content as yet, but at least you can be assured your efforts will not be wasted: http://www.classic-pirates.com/customs/maps/

Ain't they pirates in the tavern? One of them looks a lot like Evil Willy. Bonaparte and Phred have already noted this. Interesting.
-
But did you enjoy doing it Mr Hinckley? Taunting Captain Green Hair that is X-D

Official LEGO Stories as Printed on Pirates Boxes
Mister Phes replied to Shadows's topic in LEGO Pirates
It says in the Eldorado Fortress Story... I think what it's trying it say is the treasure belong to the pirates' ancestors. So Captain Kaboom, if someone "claimed" something that once belonged to your great great great granny would you not want to claim it back? -
Does this tree ever give any red apples? X-D
-
I don't see what the excitement is about big ships. It's nice to see some smaller vessels for a change. So *y* to Captain Green Hair for encouraging people to build them!
-
They're certainly not making very big ships in the Pimp Your IMTP Ship Contest... X-D
-
Perhaps Captain Green Hair will be generous... Perhaps not *skull*

I'm not sure about other regions but in the 1992 Australian LEGO Catalogue it introduces the Imperial Guards with this: Not much information really but it lets us know that Broadside and Woodhouse weren't on good terms.
-
Quite an interesting technique you're using King SlyOwl. T'would be a shame if you were disqualified but it wouldn't be fair to those who have used the hull piece. Any chance of grabbing one or two off BrickLink in the next week or so?

Official LEGO Stories as Printed on Pirates Boxes
Mister Phes replied to Shadows's topic in LEGO Pirates
Thank you once again Imperialshadows. I've been very curious of these stories and this is the first time I've got to read them. -
Excellent work ImperialShadows! You don't happen to have more of these stories on file? It would be good to collect as many as possible for Classic-Pirates.com.

So that's why I have trouble getting to shore! Every time we lower the long boat into the water it magically disintegrates. Should have known it was the salt X-D
-
Maybe if we got a few different maps that could warrant a Maps page on Classic-Pirates.com. What do you lads think?
-
Western, Ninja, Adventurer, Knight's Kingdom and even some Viking or Harry Potter figures have good heads for Imperial Guards. But since I'm going to bed now I won't be posting any pictures. X-D
-
Boat huh? I would have said it was more of a ship myself X-D

He's been taking lessons from The LEGO Group hasn't he? What could he possibly be promoting?
-
Or maybe he wanted us to find it...
