Complete instructions for claiming bonus points is coming soon... But to tie you in: We'll give you an image and you post it on the Classic-Pirates.com Facebook Page wall. Correct, at this stage nothing is required. You have to allocate them in voting, but you cannot allocate any of them to your own entry. If you have 3 bonus points you may allocate upto 2 bonus points on your own entry. But if you have less than 3 bonus points, all bonus points must go to other entries.

Once a classic pirate named fill was promoted to captain on his pirate boat a brick-beards bounty then admiral norrington fought them on the queen annes revenge...... Fire yelled fill as the revenge closed in. Meanwhile admiral norrington boarded the bounty the pirates had just got more pirates at the tavern in port royal so the pirates outnumbered the British. The queen annes revenge sunk after the cannons hit it and 4 soldiers went down with her including admiral norrington and fill but fill escaped and took Angelica (pirates of the carribean) as his wife......well what are ya still here for? Oh the end!

Bonus Points – a little confusing? A month back we blogged how you could receive extra voting points for the Pirates of the Caribbean Contest. So for participating in our various initiatives we’re awarding bonus points. You get 1 point for Liking the Facebook Page, 1 point for subscribing to the Mailing List and 1 point for voting for the Picture Challenge Winner (voting has since closed). And if you participated in all 3 initiatives you could allocate 2 bonus points to your own entry. Ummmmmmmm? Some people have suggested this may be a little confusing, not to mention unfair as Voting for the Picture Challenge has long since closed. But as voting for the Pirates of the Caribbean Contest hasn’t begun we can still amend the rules. No guarantees anything will be changed, but if enough people express concern we may just see reason… So if you think the Bonus Points rules need improving... Speak NOW!!!

Last locked character of the LEGO POTC game?
Mister Phes replied to Lord Augusta's topic in LEGO Pirates
Should we put a spolier warning in the thread description? -
What Is it? The Creative Critic is an initiative in which we award prizes to those who leave the best constructive feedback on contest entries. We’re looking for feedback entrants can use to improve their entries, or after entries close, it can be an opportunity to review each entry and leave final thoughts. So carefully analyze each entry and explain what you like and what you don’t like, but make sure you elaborate why! If you don’t like something, convey it in an objective tone as it’s unnecessary to be rude or insulting. Also, if possible suggest improvements or assist the entrant to overcome problems. There Be Prizes! We take the Creative Critic seriously enough to reward the best critics with LEGO prizes. So seriously we’ve matched the Creative Critic prizes to the Building and Story Contest prizes. As you can see each division has its own Creative Critic component. The winners will be determined by Classic-Pirates.com Staff after voting the contest winners has closed. Got A Question Feel free to ask in this thread.

“Elizabeth, when do you think we’ll get to Tortuga?” asked Jack, looking at his compass. “I think we’re almost...” Elizabeth started, but she was interrupted by a crash. Their boat crashed on a seemingly deserted island. “Where are we?” Will asked. “I don’t know, but this isn’t Tortuga.” They left the boat and decided to wander around. “We might be on this island for a long time,” Jack informed them, “So we need to find supplies. Elizabeth, find us some food, and Will and me will build a shelter.” So they got on with their jobs. Will picked some leaves off a tree but his hand got caught on something: It was a hook. He shouted in shock, when a man with a red beard and a peg leg emerged. “Hello, there. My name is Brickbeard. And you are?” “Hi, I’m Will Turner. I’m stranded on this island, with Elizabeth Turner and Jack Sparrow.” Brickbeard became very angry, and Will guessed why he was so angry. “Jack and I were crew on a boat, the Voyager. We were very good friends, and both wanted to become captain, so we decided to kill Captain Loppett, to become co-captains together . But when we did, Jack became drunk with power, and threw me overboard, so I swam here and...” Their conversation was interrupted by a figure emerging from behind a nearby bush. It was Jack. “So, Brickbeard, we meet again,” taunted Jack. “For the last time, eh, Sparrow?” threatened Brickbeard, and a ferocious swordfight ensued. They both dodged and ducked eachother’s swords, but in the end Jack struck a fatal blow to Brickbeard’s chest, and he fell to the floor, and with one last twitch Brickbeard was dead. “I can tell we’re going to be here for a long time, Will,” Jack chuckled.

Pirates of the Carribean Contest - ENTRIES CLOSED
Mister Phes replied to Mister Phes's topic in LEGO Pirates
We were looking for a new angle, so we came up with the Seven Seas Contest which was going to be just as big. But unfortunately Zorro's untimely departure from existence created complications we haven't been able to resolve. At this point we are unsure if they ever will be resolved. -
Pirates of the Carribean Contest - ENTRIES CLOSED
Mister Phes replied to Mister Phes's topic in LEGO Pirates
You've got very good points and if it doesn't work we won't do it again. But in the interest of pushing new barriers sometimes we're going to experiment. This is one of our smaller contests, so we don't expect as many entries or voters as larger contests like Pillage the Village. -
Picture Comment Challenge - Counting up the votes
Mister Phes replied to Mister Phes's topic in LEGO Pirates
Votes have been counted and will be recounted! Stay tuned for the winner announcement. -
My first London Chase arrived today so it was my good look at it. I must say its rather on the small side for $100, its like the grey building should be accompanied by a second larger building to justify the price. But fortunately I only paid $65 for it so I don't feel so bad about the price.

Thanks for the update! I agree... And I'm glad I've been slow to acquire the PotC sets because the way things are looking a 50% sale off might be the only way to move stock. So that's when I'll strike! -
Good work fellas! Thank to you we all new ways to emote!

Welcome back dear sir! For such a small set you've managed to produce a bloody remarkable review! There is so much useful content, you've obviously gone through with a proverbial finetooth comb and meticullously analysed every aspect of set - from polybag to rum bottle! I've already ordered 3 of these so this time I didn't need a review to sway me. Lets see how I feel about the set when they arrive.
