  1. And it's even got a little piggy! A LEGO tapir would be more appropriate however. Someone request LEGO tapirs!
  2. Awesome! It would be good to get a side by side comparison of your version and the official version from the same angle - if such a thing is possible.
  3. 65 cm tall ay? Ok, so how many bricks were used and how long did it take to build?
  4. Thank you for sharing! So, exactly what have you done to make your version more accurate and detailed?
  5. Excellent work! How tall is it?
  6. 3 votes and Capuchins have been added to the 1 point list! It's a size issue - they're too big. The idea is to create a realistic Animal Battle Pack comparable to the existing minifigure Battle Packs. You'll observe the current LEGO Pirates Battle Pack doesn't have any overly large elements, presumably because that would be too cost prohibitive. Put a large shark in there and that pretty much occupies half the Battle Pack.
  7. And then donate the proceeds to charity!
  8. Transformers Regeneration 1 - the recent continuation of the original Marvel Transformer comic which ended in 1991.
  9. Well there is already a LEGO Octopus (picture below) and that's quite large in comparison to the size of minifigures. In terms of a Battle Pack you wouldn't want something too big otherwise it would be too expensive or have less animals. 2 votes for Capuchins!
  10. Congratulations on thriving for the past four years and ensuring a high quality review output. Keem `em comin'!
  11. The rest of us will just have to make do with this teaser trailer for the time being...
  12. There are two things you can do to be proactive all year round... Buy as many LEGO Pirates of the Caribbean products as you possibly can to ensure sales remain high. They're still available from the Online LEGO Shop in many regions. Participate in as many official LEGO survey and Ambassador Projects as possible. The more people who respond, the more the perceived interest there will be in LEGO Pirates... I have plans for a more grandiose Ambassador project in the future but unfortunately I don't have time for it now. So we're running a smaller Ambassador Survey in the LEGO Pirates Forum called: Build your own LEGO Pirates Animal Battle Pack. Alternatively, if you have an idea for a more singular set, then CUUSOO could be a possible avenue... But you'd have to be very skillful to get 10,000 votes... Very skillful...
  13. So how would you make that noticeably different to the existing LEGO monkey? I assumed the existing monkey was supposed to represent a Capuchin. We need a concept artist!
  14. Try again now... Bug should be fixed... Like this critter....
  15. Build your own LEGO Pirates Animal Battle Pack Survey Submissions This survey will end Saturday 22 September at 23:59:59 UTC+0.00 IMPORTANT!!! Please read and understand the Information & FAQ thread before continuing. Suggest new animals and ask any questions in that thread. You may submit ONE Battle Pack in this thread per week The Animals How to Submit List the animals you'd like to see in your Battle Pack including the quantity - even if there is only one of each animal! For example:
  16. Build your own LEGO Pirates Animal Battle Pack Survey Information & Frequently Asked Questions This survey will end Saturday 22 September at 23:59:59 UTC+0.00 Imagine if the LEGO Group released Animal Battle Packs for themes! This idea has been discussed amongst LEGO Ambassadors but now it's your turn to provide some speculative input... The Mission Determine the ideal LEGO Pirates Animal Battle Pack! Each animal has been assigned a number of points so you can choose any selection of animals you like, providing the total of points doesn't exceed 14. You may have less than 14 points if you wish. Also, feel free to provide your location and age as the LEGO Group finds demographic information useful. New Animals There are also some new animals marked in red but feel free to suggest more (in this thread), each with its own point allocation. The animal must be voted for by at least five people before it is added to the list. So if someone suggests a new animal you like, SAY SO! But please only suggest animals that could debut in the LEGO Pirates theme like the monkey and shark did. Livestock such as chickens, cows, sheep, pigs, etc. are out because they are too general and could easily fit into a wide variety of LEGO themes. And don't use any of your own suggestions until they've been added to the list What will happen with this Information? It will be passed onto the LEGO representatives but there is no guarantee any suggestion will be used, nor will anybody receive acknowledgement or reward for anything that gets used. So don't expect to receive your Animal Battle Pack in the mail! How do I start? Ask all your questions in this thread! Suggest any new in this thread! Otherwise, visit the Build your own Pirate LEGO Animal Battle Pack - Survey thread to start. You may submit ONE Battle Pack per week 5 Points - Existing Creatures Shark (classic) Sawfish Manta-ray Crocodile/Alligator Octopus Dolphin Mermaid 5 Points - Proposed Creatures Whale (of the smaller species) Narwhal Manatee/Sea Cow Hammerhead Shark Jaguar Sealion Sea Serpent 3 Points - Existing Creatures Monkey 3 Points - Proposed Creatures Turtle Albatross Pelican Capybara Dodo 1 Point - Existing Creatures Parrot Crab Snake Rat Clam Fish Starfish 1 Points - Proposed Creatures/Elements Parrot Shoulder Brace Jellyfish Seagull Toucan Lobster/Crayfish Gannet Capuchin (Small Monkey) To submit your Battle Pack visit the Survey Thread
  17. Thank you for restoring the images, but Admiral Croissant is correct, as they do not contain LEGO they will again be deleted.
  18. This is correct, the LEGO Group does not want unofficial websites and profiles using "LEGO" in the URL. If possible, it would be advisable to substitute "LEGO" with another word like "brick".
  19. I notice for the 6285 Black Seas Barracuda you're using character names established in the extended official LEGO fiction. But for other sets like 6270 Forbidden Island and 6289 Red Beard Runner you've got names like Captain William Kidd, Doctor Morris and Captain Roger Lowe which haven't appeared anywhere in the official LEGO Pirates canon to my knowledge. Did you just make those characters up?
  20. Apparently I'm most like Creator. Something I noticed about this quiz was for each question, a radio buttons was already selected. So as not to subconsciously or accidentally influence a response, shouldn't zero radio buttons be selected?
  21. EGAD!!! What happened to them man! They look utterly devastated!
