  1. Piraten, you are wonderful!
  2. Yes, they're due to release a new wave of LEGO Pirate sets in 2021. This would explain why they're no longer accepting pirate related submissions as this would definitely create a conflict. However, not fully clarifying is a disservice to fans who submit their creations to LEGO Ideas.
  3. I've inserted the Medium (800x156) version of one of your Flickr photos into the first post.
  4. Clarification on this matter would be fantastic!
  5. Thank you, Piraten! You've done well to provide us with this update. It would be very unfortunate if the LEGO Ideas Team have decided they will not develop future pirate related concepts until further notice.
  6. Have you asked them? We need to get to the bottom of this. Understandable they don't want to release another shipwreck island in the future, but there is a serious issue if they intend to reject all pirate submissions and submissions related to the pirate theme.
  7. And that reason being: Ok, it looks like that's point 1. Are there any more points?
  8. Thank you, @Piraten. So the submission is an Imperial Fort and Inn/Tavern. And did the LEGO Ideas Team provide a reason as to why your submission was rejected?
  9. Is it possible if you could please post some images of your submission so we have some idea of what you're referring to.
  10. Learned a lot from who?
  11. Welcome the the LEGO Pirates Forum Captain Good Heart! You've posted on the Classic Pirates Facebook Page.

  13. Presentation is key when it comes to directing attention towards these topics. I've also posted The Kraken via the Classic Pirates Facebook Page.
  14. Be there any updates on this?
  15. Ok, let's give this topic an upgrade. I've added a few more photos and one of those nice big SUPPORT buttons. SUPPORT NOW
  16. And onto the Classic Pirates Facebook Page it goes!
  17. Yes, let's exclude them so those of European decent can more easily ignore the atrocities their ancestors committed against indigenous peoples.
  18. Thank you for posting, @Major Ben - shared on the Classic Pirates Facebook Page!
  19. Apparently this is causing distribution issues hence having to use back orders.
  20. Check out the The Ladybird Pirate books topic - there should be a link to a repository which you can download image scans of each book.
  21. Someone has already got that covered...
  22. News Crew... Who wants the honour of frontpaging this beauty? @Faladrin @Medzomorak
  23. To coincide with the debut of the LEGO Pirates theme In 1989, Ladbybird published a series of books to flesh out the backstory of the theme. The final two pages of each book feature a map naming various locations and ships consistent with the UK set names. However, there is also a blue striped ship named "Ironram", similar to the Caribbean Clipper, yet double masted. This ship was never released as a set, however, recently a double masted version of the Caribbean Clipper has been submitted to LEGO Ideas. Could this submission one day become an official Ironram?
  24. Convento Capuchinos by Jellyeater _ on Flickr.
  25. I like your imagination... but what do you mean by multiple greenery?
