Anyone got a photo of a pirate minifig looking shocked?
Mister Phes replied to Mister Phes's topic in LEGO Pirates
Did you have any interest in managing the Classic Pirates Twitter account? Not on a daily basis, we can just continue with the automation for that... but when there is an important announcement maybe someone with Twitter knowledge could strategy craft a post. -

Are you a Twitter user? -
"Caribbean Post Office" by @Piglet I don't think Piglet visits Eurobricks anymore so I'm posting this on this behalf via Flirckr. According to Piglet:

@pantelis you've done it once again! Thank you for posting such great MOCs in our forum. Posted on the Classic Pirates Facebook Page.

What a nice little vignette you've created, @Plate! Another of your creations posted via the Facebook page.

Which is your preferred skull & bones emblem?
Mister Phes replied to General Magma's topic in LEGO Pirates
Maybe this topic could benefit from a second poll... but how many poll options should it have? The initial post just mentions the original and new jolly rogers, but we do in fact have three past jolly roger designs: -
Post your Pirate Crew: Pirate Figbarfs

Thank ye, but just to to confirm, none of them are my own, I'm sharing figbarfs posted by our Instagram followers. -

What on earth is this monkey business? What did piggie do to monkey to deserve a roasting?

Access has been granted! Please take a moment to introduce yourself to the crew and we shall set sail!

Thank you! But thank you for contributing to the forum - without the members, there would be no life to get back! That would be fantastic! Once upon a time we had an Indexer position in which crew were doing just that. I'm currently in discussions with the Administrators about reinstating such positions but I can immediately invite you to join The Shipyard if you're interesting in discussing further.

I saw the following Facebook ad for a Flash Sale with 80% Off LEGO. If the name of the Facebook Page "Ctepxth hrmrjfik" doesn't look suspicious enough, the store name mentioned in the ad details is "TOYHOUSE" but on the actual website it's "LEGO World". Furthermore the URL is new.irebron.com and they're listing their address as "LEGO System A/S Aastvej 1, 7889 Billund, Denmark" As an added bonus I looked up the website's WhoIs record and the Creation Date is 2020-04-22T13:27:35Z. Never submit your personal or financial details to a website like this!

It's a good idea! Since returning to Eurobricks last June there was nobody at the helm, so I've gradually had to build things up by myself. Almost a year later, we've got a decent crew in place but we still need more pirate-power! As I've been focused on moving forward, the indices have fallen on the wayside in favour initiatives to get the forums more active. So what would you participation be?

Nice outpost, will be visiting soon. Also have shared via the Classic Pirates Facebook Page.

Surely at least one of them could have isolated on this island...

Mister Phes replied to General Magma's topic in LEGO Pirates
Me either... and this is something that I've learned in the past few months. At the time the "boof head" design was released (2009 when it first appeared) I was thinking why did they make the skull look alien? -
Very nice! But where da minifigs?

"Pirates Carnival Float" by Lego Fjotten on Flickr. Built for a LUG competition, scene is somewhat cramped since I wanted to fit in both a Solider Fort and a pirate ship.

Hashtags can be added but they don't have the same effectiveness as they do on Instagram. Aye: https://twitter.com/classicpirates I've been focusing on Instagram and Facebook... I just don't have time for Twitter so anything posted there has been done by automation from posting to the other platforms. -

The classic Jolly Roger all the way! I understand the newer version is meant to resemble a minifigure skull but it just look too "kiddified" for my liking. -
Negative on that. The images were acquired from Flickr.
