DC Superheroes 2015 Rumors & Discussions
Im a brickmaster. replied to Ezekiel2517's topic in LEGO Licensed
Yes, I'm really hoping the Arkham asylum/LB3 game design is in a set. So far non of the spring wave has attracted me and a big fig croc would be the selling point for sure! -
I'm getting a return of Bruce Wayne vibe here! I like it!

What Lego-related thing did you do today?
Im a brickmaster. replied to Savage Oppress's topic in Community
Stared at my corner and realized I need to orginaze it again! -
For this year it's to find peace and a lesson in everything. Somthing I wish for so bad I have to wait for, and it's been hard but I'm on this journey for a reason, I think. And that's okay.

I have a love/hate realtionship with the new 52 for sure. I started with the older batman stuff, which is what I recommend anyone do when reading comics. Some of the stuff I've read that I liked: Knightfall. Wow, if you haven't read this do it. It lives up to the hype. By the time you get to the end when Bane invades the bat cave and breaks batman, your right there. All the pain and suffering that's happened for the whole book, you almost feel it. Under the Red hood. I liked how they interwove how Jason returned into the main story it self. It also (along with War Games) cemented Black mask as a character I dispise. The long Halloween. This is my personal favorite. Somthing about how the story takes its time and how the art blends and flows makes this my favorite. As I mentioned, I didn't think the art would look very good and ruin the experience but it some how works very well for the story. No mans land. I just finished this, and it's pretty good, better then war games for sure. I see a lot of the stuff from the book Rocksteady used/easteregg-ed in Arkham city Not batman but another personal favorite is Brightest Day. Sure it looses it's way a little in the 3rd volume but it's still a wonderfully illustrated book with a wide range of characters and mini stories. It also made Deadman a pretty cool hero. And... I really liked Hawkman and Hawkgirls journey/story 'Far as New fricken 52 goes I reaaaaly liked Court of Owls and City of Owls. Creepy and interesting. I'm not sure if this falls under the new 52 reader or not, but if you ever want to read a Batman comic that is so far from what it's normally depicted: All star Batman and Robin the Boy Wonder. Talk about a power trip. Some of the new justice legue stuff is pretty neat, but I dislike how much Justice League Origns reminds of the Avengers movie.

Licensed Sets LEGO Missed the Ball On/Never Made
Im a brickmaster. replied to adotnamedstud's topic in LEGO Licensed
No has yet mention the Spider trike? It's one of the few sets I truly have beef with, in fact I when I got it I only built Electros flyin extension thing! So let's think about it for a sec: A trike the consists of...four wheels attached to the vehicle by spindly fin things. Featuring a shoehorned flinging feature that only half works and flops around when you move the trike. I got no words for this. Any small child would look it you and say " But spida man swings, why he need a trike?" (Sigh) -

LEGO Star Wars 2015 Pictures and Rumors

So I have a general question for those that bought the new ST battle pack. Are they pretty ugly? I think I have one normal storm trooper from the Endor pack, and I'd like to know if the overall design of the figure is to cartoony. -
I missed the first shadow trooper fig so picking this set up is a must for me! I'm not sure where the color changed imperial guards come from, force unleashed maybe?

Favourite Lego Superheroes 2014 Set ?
Im a brickmaster. replied to Peasantseverywhere's topic in LEGO Licensed
For DC the only set I own and like is the Scuba batman VS Penguin set. All the others, 'cept the Tumbler are just...so..lame. Sorry. Marvel had a better year in terms of size and quality. I have to go with the Captain on this, the 20 dollar sets and the X jet were great so that makes it kinda tuff. I have to go with Milano hands down. Great set from a great movie, add in the rocket poly bag and BAM! You got a winner- 32 replies

Bootleg Super Heroes minifigs - worth it or not?
Im a brickmaster. replied to KingPixels's topic in Community
Dear lord! Just going through a few pages of this thread has given me a migraine! Why in the name off all decency would you make a complete rip of Legos 'Falcon?! And the freakin ninja turtles! -
WOOOOW. Can any one say mech overkill?! Are the shoulder chain guns on the green one third party? I don't think I've seen them before.. The only flaw I see is the hanger feels a little empty, but I guess clutter would distract from your mechs

[Review] 75082 - TIE Advanced Prototype
Im a brickmaster. replied to kr-lik's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Hmm, nice review! I think it's okay it doesn't look like Vaders, after all it IS a prototype! The rebals line as a whole has yet to attract me but the models all seem to be pretty nice. Again good job with the review- 29 replies

Im a brickmaster. replied to Savage Oppress's topic in Community
Built and the new AT-AP and compared to the old one ( which I don't have) to the new. The new one I believe, is superior. Both in design and parts. And ya gotta love Phase II Gree! -

Hmmm, is this some sort of clever ploy to reveal younger members?!?! In that case Jedi scout fighter, the AT-AP, logging truck and the cantina disassembled in a shoebox! -
What was the last movie you watched?
Im a brickmaster. replied to EbonHawk's topic in Culture & Multimedia
47 Ronin. A excellent, severely under rated movie. I absoulty love feudal Japan ninja samurai stuff anyway, the architecture, the lore, everything. But ah, an awesome kickass movie! -
Thanks for the early review! I don't know much about the rebals show at all, but I can say that the over all design of the walker really appeals to me and the minifigs look top notch. I also like how the spring shooters are pretty much hidden in the frame, nice job!

Wahh whaaa Winter soldier!? PLEASE lord let it be true! If this is in fact true I will hunt the ends of the earth till I get one! -
I don't buy anything except gifts in December, so the last thing I bought was two Rocket raccoon poly bags ( one to open one to hoard) and two brown ninja polys. My TRU had a whole bin of the rocket polys and they were gone within a few days, so I got pretty lucky!

That. Looks. Incredible. It's a good thing hot toys stuff is so expensive other ways I'd be broke! (sob)
