  1. Very nice, I like the development through the thread as more opinions are heard. I like the guns and nose on the final model, fire the screwdrivers!
  2. I like your roof and nose, both look very well done. I feel that the roof could get thicker to the front, as the sandcrawlers get taller to the front. Also, for organization purposes, see if you can hang the jetpack on something (stand, hook), or add some studs of sorts to create a jumble in the box, you could also you some studs to accent the exterior walls as well. I'm liking the cyclops alien and the massive tail on his assistant
  3. Someone had a lot of fun with those cheese slopes! I like the shaping and color combinations, and engine entire engine block.
  4. Winter has the v-wing and utapau troopers...summer? I'm really liking the image of the new star destroyer! Though I'm also interested in the final look of the dewback and some of the other members of the cantina
  5. Very Nice! I'm guessing this is all Wookiepedia checked and approved? Good job managing to get all of the imperial troopers, whether through BL or through the sets.
  6. From what I've heard, not sure if its true though, is that the delayed rollout is to provide more coverage and buying time for the lego movie sets, which are coming out now, instead of the winter star wars wave.
  7. Lol, the issues of star wars reproduction...where half of all statistics are made up, and conflict ten years later with someone else's made up statistic, check the official star wars website information, they have their own little wiki, and might have the information you need, from a more trusted source.
  8. Very nice speeder, good job sticking to the reference! I really like the front nose angles and the sleekness of the cannons and the engines! Though I do see a wing in this image too: http://static3.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20070921133411/starwars/images/d/d2/Battle-of-hoth-mcquarrie.jpg
  9. TIEs are some of the most popular ships to build, but somehow, after so many iterations, youve still managed to stand out with one that captures the details of this iconic ship so well, from the interesting tactic to get a proper shape on the wing struts, to the beautiful cockpit design that comes together very well(that backside!). Though, one thing I may add, from glancing at the reference images, is that the struts seem to have slightly different vertical and horizontal sizes, as the outer ones seem larger in the horizontal, while the inner ones seem larger in the vertical.
  10. As the most detested Ep II gets the least mocs out of all of the movies. I never understood the hate, and this MOC shows there is promise in the movie! The wall greatly incorporates the style and heavy atmosphere of the dark depths of coruscant, with bright flashing lights and incomprehensible signs amogst figures trying to blend in with the walls and hubbub.
  11. These are pretty fantastic, I've gotta say. Each of the builds looks like it had time and though put in, and the holiday themed ones are very funny. My favorites are the ATAT, Barge, Venator, and TIE though as a great enthusiast of the Vwing, I have to give you credit for doing that ship as well. Of the figs, the GH-7 turned out great, and of course, Santa ObiWan. He will come down the chimney, spot a child and say, "These are not the presents you are looking for" they would repeat it back to him, dolefully head upstairs with a blank and slightly happy stare.
  12. Very Nice! Know that, in the end, you will have a product muc better than the original set, having an interior, and at tis half built state, already looks great!
  13. Yellow eye anakin? Obi Wan? Grievous? Vader? Palpatine(Scars/No Scars)? Chewbacca? Probvably one of the first three, the rest can be used the year after. Cody is a possibility as well as maybe Mrs Claus, Padme? Also c3po, but that again can be PT. Also...Windu would be Awesome.
  14. That BAR !! Is glorious, fitting in style and aesthetic to both the source and the build, I am certainly enjoying it And of course Lando having plenty to drink...
  15. Its not a bad set I think, but could use some refining in terms of build and variation in terms of figs (I prefer my own shocktroopers from the original BP to these ones). Judging by its size, with a bit of rearrangement, I feel they could have made a more efficient rear end, more fitting of a carrier type ship.
  16. This thing is incredible! The amount of time put in is simply mindboggling, and I do wish (though I would love to see any results) that you don't spend the next five years on a single model! I never could, that takes some serious determination, and as this proves attention to everything! If you do end up attempting to build, don't forget to show us, we are very interested in any results of such an endeavour! I love that at this scale this ship is finally not a flat pizza slice, and has some actual depth to it!
  17. Very well done! Now, if you have the SD Globe from the planet sets, you can place above the SSD to recreate the crash, although you might have the scale slightly off!
  18. Obviously, now is a great time as they are releasing a lot of kashyyyk minifigures this wave! Look around online to get ideas for how to do forests/greenery as well as the water. Try to make your own design for the droids, and especially see if you can have a layered beach to allow semi submerged droids.
  19. I like the style of this build and the studlessness over all, as well as the chandelier and antenna outside. Its really cool how the booths create an atmosphere of coziness in the sparseness of the tatooine style.
  20. Incredible set, markus! I like the angles on the barge and definitely enjoy the complete railing alll the way around! Is there an interior to the barge? And I totally enjoying the style of the rolling dunes!
  21. Im not sure on the angle of the front, but I really like the sleekness of the rear fin and the build of the engines! The bridge looks proportioned well, though im not sure on the angle of the maroon stripe (vertically).
  22. Hide a santa hat and bag, reference the calendar I like the cape carpet detail and the cool lamp. The fireplace uses the brick piece very effectively, and what, no Bespin Boba arms?
  23. I see where you are going with this and like the overall design, but I can't see many of the details, and I feel that the tree could use more sprucing on the way up, as you have created a lush area at both the top and bottom from what I can tell.
  24. This. Thing. Is. Awesome. I am a big fan of UCS scale machines that are minifig scale as well and look correct on the inside as well as on the inside. The detailed interior and exterior give the builds a sense of completeness that is rare in smaller vehicles.
  25. I love how many different figs and pieces used, from the earlier mentioned frogs, to the basketball player head to the exo force body!
