  1. Awesome build good work, I'm hoping that the store near my house will someday have something as awesome as this.
  2. The Lego set itself is masterpiece, as well as the natural melding and flow of the environments and key integration of various points and sets. I also love how every section seems flat and yet looking at the entire thing it looks completely round, a benefit of building at such a large scale! However, I do think that the music may be a tiny bit off from the official version.
  3. I think it looks great, and because they have to switch after this year's release of phantom menace, their only other options would have been Anakin and Kenobi or maybe Dooku to represent the new line, after so many clone boxes. The Yoda I think is the best option because there is no large amount of hate on him by any large factions, plus he is instantly recognizable and he is one of the icons of the star wars saga. And I have to say, even after the very nice Darth Maul packaging this year, this is even better, especially with the downward extension of the lightsaber outside the typical logo boundaries.
  4. I think, at this point Lego has given up on the smaller packaging, probably after seeing that the savings in cardboard were probably not worth the potential drop in sales and the higher inventory needed to keep the shelves full.
  5. I have to say, excellent MOC and use of SNOT techniques, though I imagine at that size that kind of structure must be very fragile. Also, I'd love to be able to build such a great ship, yet I worry, that with the forthcoming instructions I still won't be able to build this simply because of how expensive that many pieces is. Once again, I congratulate you on what I can most certainly call the single greatest ARC-170 moc out there.
  6. I may not have been able to get a deal on the new Elite Clone Trooper Battle Pack, but the excellent savings on the very nice Obi Wan's starfighter were too good to pass up.
  7. Ehh...after much consideration I'd have to go with the year 2006 because of its great V, X, and A-Wing which I got all of as well as the spacious and excellent Star Destroyer and the first good Slave I. The best part about it was how back then they all also had decent prices on the sets...before this new inflationary craze. Although the two UCS sets from that year did not seem to sell too well, they went on sale, and then sold well. I do regret not getting that TIE Advanced... Another set I missed that I have regretted is the tie interceptor that I soon jealously saw at a friends house. Of course no crazy clone wars madness was also nice and the small number of sets made sure the ones that remained were good. I have to say though among all of those sets I have become most enthused with the tiny little v-wing which was so cheap, but with a few modifications, was so great! At this point however, mine has little left of the original.
