  1. And more importantly, small kids could swallow the pieces and get choked.
  2. Look here. I don't think they were very successful though
  3. Gratulerer med dagen, Quarryman! Have a great day!
  4. Super! Thanks a lot!
  5. Isn't 35-40 about the right age for the queen to be in? I'm more of the opinion that the king looks to old And sure LEGO can make old women :
  6. I bought a copy of 1581 Delivery Truck from Tradera (Swedish eBay) for just 207SEK (equals about 21€): It's a rare promotional set (only 2 copies on BL for $250 and $300 each) made for the Swedish dairy company Arla. This copy might not be in top shape but I couldn't resist the low price
  7. Well, that sounds good. And I agree that on the picture we have seen so far the quality looks just as good as normal LEGO. But I'm confused why they made a new mold for the shovel, seems very unnecessary to me
  8. I don't think that the picture I linked to is of the queen either (I believe it's two different minifigures in the AC and the tower), but no, that's the only one I've seen so far.
  9. It was posted already here on page 44 But I understand that you didn't wanted to go through all the recent pages with all the boring quarrels
  10. The train is beginning to look better and better to me, lots of useful pieces. I think I might have get that (but I will do like Svelte and sell the figures).
  11. I would really want that 7622 Race for the stolen treasure
  12. Welcome! Maybe you can explain some of the abbreviation? I recognize some like SW (Star Wars), HP (Harry Potter), IJ (Indiana Jones), TS (Toy Story), PM (Power Miners) and B10 (Ben10), but what does K, A and WR mean?

    It's a trap!

Funny! And clever use if the carrot top.
  14. Oh I understand what you mean now Then I totally agree with you. They will probably make an updated version of Merlin/Majisto just like they updated the old pirate torsos to 2009's versions.
  15. Ah yeah, that's possible. Maybe it's just the light but I think it looks like the hairpiece isn't brown but dark orange or something like that (= new colour for that hairpiece) which would indicate a new minifig. I guess we have to wait and see to be sure. EDIT: Why would there be no way for the blue wizard to return? All the pieces are still present and the whole theme is flirting with the classic castles of the 80´s and 90´s. The box art might just be a preliminary but I think that there is an equally good chance that this is the final version. I kind of like the rough drawings, and TLG might want to try something new. And I see no reason for TLG to draw the queen, prince and the other new minifigs on the box art if we wouldn't get them
  16. Good listing, The Penguin. But it says 9 minifigs on the box and I think I can spot them all: 1) Blue wizard, Merlin/Majisto returns. 2) Queen (the minifig in the Dragon tower have a different hairpiece, see here) 3) Prince with Dastan hair and a glass cup maybe? 4) Lion knight, under the mistletoe 5) Market maid with green dress, also under the mistletoe 6) Skeleton, with apple on the head 7) Lion knight archer, trying to shoot the apple 8) Dragon knight, fighting a snowman 9) Blacksmith, in the smithy A must-buy for sure. And don't be afraid my American friends, TLG has said that this years advent calendar will be available across the pond too.
  17. Yes, there is. This BrickSet article clearly states it in the end: clicky
  18. Happy Birthday Svelte! Enjoy your cake and the rest of your day!
  19. +1 to Natman8000 too. Very nice trader who gave me a great deal as well
  20. I dunno, maybe an all brown minifig head could work. As for transportation I say horses and ships. But if you want to "spice" it up I suggest looking at all the crazy vehicles LEGO has produced during the latest years and find some inspiration from those
  21. Emperor Claudius Rome is writing about a fantasy viking horde so I'm not sure if this is what he meant, but the medieval equivalence to a grenade were clay pots filled with Greek fire. And since ECR is writing about a fantasy horde there isn't any right or wrong, but for your interest I can tell that the real Vikings did use bows. A number of arrow heads has been found at Viking sites and the many histories tells about bow firing heroes as well. The most common weapon was however the spear.
  22. Check out the tips from our favourite LEGO Designer Jamie Berard : Link 1 Link 2
  23. Oh, so you are one of them who was at the auction at Örebro? We had a little discussion about that in our Swedish LEGO forum SweBrick, apperantly it was a compulsory auction so sadly there must have been some poor AFOL (adult fan of lego) that was forced to sell his collection. I think I read that the prices for your ships were 2400 and 700 SEK, is that right? That is a really good deal in that case The person who bought the "rescue boat" put up some pictures too, although it seems he is going to resell it on Tradera (Swedish Ebay).
  24. My german isn't the best but if I understood correctly it seems to be a very fun game A lots of nice pieces in the game too...
  25. More likely the opposite. The collectible minifigures are supposed to be special and not part of any theme. So I guess a Roman/Greek/Ancient theme won't be possible for a couple of more years.
