  1. The Gnome lives a quiet and peaceful life in the forest where he has carved out his home in an old tree stump. He passes the days with fishing in the nearby pond. He is very shy which might explain why he has been seen by so few tall-people. Yes, he has a small gold treasure too, just like every small humanoid forest creature has. Flickr link This build might look easier then it was but the stump almost got me... eh stumped... It was very fragile during the build but in the end it turned out quite steady. The Gnome is a really nice minifig I think. I like the hat very much and I hope we someday get it in white (for Smurfs! ). Some dislike the Gnome for being to similar to the Fisherman from S3 but the only similar things are the beard and the fishing pole (which is in anther colour) and since both those pieces are very nice IMHO I still like the Gnome very much. Now I'll need to figure out which S4 minifig to do next...
  2. Thank you for your comments, I'm happy you liked it! Yeah, good point about the road, it got a bit monochrome and flat. But on the other hand I liked that it wasn't too many colours in the MOC (but I could have used some dark tan plates). Thanks for the input!
  3. Walking on spooky mountain roads during a full moon night might not be such a good idea... Not when there is a werewolf on the loose. Flickr The werewolf isn't amongst my favourite S4 minifigs, but this MOC turned out pretty good I think. Expect more S4 minifigs MOCs from me soon Thanks for watching!
  4. and +1 for JSN Thanks again for a great trade!
  5. That's nice, why don't you go make a vig or small MOC about this and post it in the Sci-Fi-section of the forum? I'm sure it will be more appropriate for a LEGO forum like this

  7. I will probably just imagine it as the rattling of LEGO bricks so I'll be fine
  8. Yeah, I'm still not sure how this will work out. Quarryman was kind enough to ask the hotel if it was possible to include an extra bed in a twin room, waiting for answer there. But if that isn't possible I would really want to share a twin room with Holodoc. But then snefroe wanted that too so I don't know which one of us that gets it? @Sir Norman Ray: I think you can go ahead and book your room if you want a single room. Don't feel forced to share one just because I'm a cheapskate
  9. Happy happy birthday CopMike! Seems like you got a good start on the day already, enjoy the rest of it!
  10. Happy birthday! I can only agree with the rest, those are some awesome cakes
  11. Nope, no printing on the back (which is mostly covered by the head piece anyway).
  12. Thanks for all the comments, I'm happy you liked it! The black hooded minifig is just another woman talking to her friend, but who knows, maybe she has been trained by the dark side of the force The wooden flooring around the well is there because otherwise it would've been very muddy with all the people coming to get water and spilling some of it. And it's also there because I didn't have enough 1x1 round plates to cover the entire square And yeah, I'm a fan of the new dark metal helmets and weapons too. Looks great on the classical castle factions.
  13. A vignette is a small scene, usually in a footprint of 8 by 8 studs (larger is sometimes called "bignette"). Vignettes are a popular genre of building where you don't always need a lot of pieces but instead a good knowledge about how to use them because of the limited space. Take a look at the Eurobricks Collectable LEGO Minifigures Series 3 Building Contest for some excellent examples of vignettes.
  14. Inspired by King Chulalongkorn Memorial Building, the Thai Pavilion in Ragunda, Sweden. Even though I built it in a very small scale I ran out of pieces so it's only a small part of it. It was a fun build with lots of SNOT and odd number dimensions.

    MOC: T.I.A.

Thanks for the comment, and sorry about causing some confusion. In case someone doesn't know, T.I.A.(This is Africa) is a quote from the movie Blood Diamond

  19. Great work Cecilie! It's impressive that you do these vigs for everyone of the CMs. I really like the Gorilla one, very funny!
  20. This MOC started with me wanting to try out the technique with SNOTed tiles as stone bricks in a house. After I had done that the half finished house stood on my desk for a couple of weeks before I got new inspiration and added a wall and a well. It's a MOC solely built for my own pleasure, which isn't very good since I really should have been sorting my pieces instead But I hope you guys and girls like it too: Thanks for watching! /Etzel
  21. Yes, it is. On mine it looks like it's very well fitted in the helmet and I don't think it's possible to remove it without damaging either the visor or the helmet.
  22. I would like to be represented by my duck this time: It comes in a various of sizes too: link
  23. hmm, I think I have to agree Dream Team. It's a publicity stunt for the Action Themes forum. Everyone wants to make crazy assumptions based on nothing but a weird picture, the AFOL world in a nutshell.
  24. So, there is a Viking room this year too. + a Senior Viking room
  25. Just be patient. It will be announced when the staff is ready, which could be in a day, a week or even longer, and that really doesn't matter at all. Be happy with the chance of winning free LEGO, so be patient or just shut up!
