Great review! And great set! The Indiana Jones theme is gonna take a lot of money from me this year.

Thanks for the pic! I'm somewhat disappointed with this advent calender. I had hoped for at least one new minifig (in last years castle AC there were two new). Or that the admiral or the admiral's daughter were in. Now there is only the mermaid that is a real deal for me Ah well, I will probably buy it anyway

Aah, it was supposed to be Callandor, now I see Then it's perfect I was thinking of the heron sword he got from his father.

Great job! I like Nynaeve and Mat best, there are most like my idea of how they look. The rest is good to, especially the aiel. Great use of the forestmen cap as leather shield. I always pictured Lan in darker outfit but I can't remember if he actually has that or not in the books (it's been a while since the last time I read them). I think I would have used a katana instead of the crome sword for Rand, it seems a bit clumsy, but I really like the torso you used for him. I'm eagerly waiting for more characters to come, especially Egwene and Elayne, and maybe some of the Forsaken? Hm, maybe I make some myself too

I thought he then was executed by the roman emperor for converting the empress to christianity. These old saint usually got the martyrdom. Not that it matters much, there is of course many different stories about him, and I deeply distrust the veracity in all off them Happy St. Görans day (as he is called in Sweden)!

The Brick Testament - When God Attacks
Etzel replied to Brendan Powell Smith's topic in Brick Flicks & Comics
That globe is absolutely fantastic! Great work! -
Aah, I get it now! That was a tricky (and good!) one.

Oh, so there are two different sizes of those sticks. That explains a lot I guess the smaller kind are older since I don't have any. Might have some in my old collection though (which I don't have access to until summer ). Thanks for enlighten me!

Take 5 bricks on each side of the balance. Then take the group that weight less and put 2 bricks on each side. If they are even the fifth brick is the fake one. If they are uneven you just take the two that was less and compare them on the balance. That's 3 times.

Can't believe I missed comment on this great MOC, better late then never although. I have only read to the 6th or 7th book if I remember correctly (It's so frustrating when you have forgotten so much that you have to go back and re-read all of previous the books, it's happened to me 3 times ) but they are really good. Now I feel a need of making some own WoT MOCs but unfortunately I don't have the time...Luckily there's people like you out there who can make some for me to admire I absolutely love the river (Erinin)! The walls with the ajah colours are really nice too and I like how you included a part of the "normal" town inside the walls. Don't let us wait too long for your next WoT MOC

How lovely isn't that! Beautiful colours and amazing details. I agree with BlueBard that the roof is something special, it really adds the "dream" feeling over the house. The interior is very good, and so is the overall architecture. Two thumbs up!

If so, let me be the second to congratulate the winners! Very good job by all that entered and the top three was something extraordinary!

Happy birthday Cutlass_Iz! Nice to hear it has been a good one From the guy that figured out who Toodles AFOL parter was EDIT: Capitals ON!

Amazing! I've had a similar idea but this is much better then I could ever do There are so many cool techniques in it! I really don't understand how the grey bird (a heron?) is built. I tried myself but I can't make out how to connect the pieces here: The minifig hand appears to be too small, at least for me
-
I've got one. Sulfurix from a promo polybag. I'm not so excited about the rock monsters but it's nice to have at least one I think.
-
*runs to the toy store to buy a couple of hundred impulse sets* Not really... I go for quality before quantity!
-
142 complete minifigs Not very many but they're good ones And there are 3 on the way from BL too. I got about a dozen skeletons also but I don't count them as "real" minifigs.

Haha, what a great old thread! Looks like I'm going to the sea: I think I'll pass on buying this set...

Very nice! I wouldn't say no to live there even if I'm not a girl How does the back look like? Is it open or is it solid built? I saw in the comments that you haven't built any interior but I think you should get it a try, it's not that hard to include some chairs and a table and it adds much to the MOC.

Hurray! Third place for me I didn't thought I would end up that high when I saw all the great entries. But when the voting had begun I saw that I was getting more and more votes So thank you everyone that voted for me, I'm happy you liked to see the darker side of the medieval times A great congratulations to Erdbeereis and Trash, you guys really did some outstanding work in your entries! Now, lets get started with the rest of the modules, shall we?

Do you keep your Lego Boxes?
Etzel replied to RememberTheLittleGuy's topic in General LEGO Discussion
I throw them all away! No need for them and they just taking up space (which I'm really short of in my apartment). Although I have saved the Medieval Market Village box this far since it's really beautiful. But soon it will meet the same destiny as the others. -
Maybe cutlass_iz, I think she's australian.
