  1. Love that blue ninja microfig! It seems to a pretty big project by TLG, hopefully it will turn out well so other countries get the games to.
  2. Those alternative models are awesome! Great job there! I really like this set, it encourage just this kind of creativity among builders. I think I should try to make some of my own. No, this is the only one Luckily that it is such a good one. I have 4 of this set
  3. Vikings! But real ones, not those with ugly horns on their helmets
  4. Just to prevent any misunderstandings, not all the minifigs in MMV have double sided printed torsos and none have printed legs (the women do have printed skirts though). The soldiers and the woman that was also in the Advent Calender have only one side printed torsos. I don't think the prices are that high. Sure it's a bit more expensive then earlier years but if you compare to other themes I think it's just fair. I'm really looking forward to the drawbridge set. That queen is great!
  5. Wow, thank you everyone for your nice comments! I never expected this much feedback Maybe there will be more cross-overs to come. That is a good idea, I wish I had thought of that. The MOC is now unfortunately in pieces (I never keep my MOCs very long). No I didn't, although it would probably looked really nice. The problem is that my MMV is in pieces too, and some of them were used in the MOC. Thanks again for all the feedback! Much appreciated!
  6. Hurray for more prizes! Many thanks to the donors. Anyway, at this moment it seems like I've got a good chance of winning a prize, 1 of the 3 entries are mine
  7. It turn public automatically after a while. Usually a couple of days.
  8. Wonderful! I half expected your next country to be Russia with it's very interesting history. Very good job! I especially like Peter the Great and Lenin, very good figs with excellent choices for heads.
  9. Here is my try of turning the pirate set 6242 Soldiers Fort into the medieval times. Knights instead of soldiers and orcs instead of pirates. It was a fun build and I'm happy with the result. I'm most pleased with this tower as it turned out very well IMO. There is an interior also which you can see in a picture further down. Thank you for watching and I hope you liked it! /Etzel
  10. That's really good! The building looks nice from the outside with those yellow tudor wall pieces and I love the use of flags. Great work! Keep it up! PS: You might be interested in participate in The Community Castle Build Contest that is currently running.

    MOD: 6240

Thank you for your comment! I'm happy you liked it I'm actually considering to make it even bigger, with a sail and bigger shelter. Rafts can be as big as they like

    MOD: 6240

Raft 3a Finally the pirate sets have hit the shelves in Swedish toy stores! I bought the 6240 Kraken Attackin' today and when I had built it I felt like doing some changes. Here is the upgraded version of the raft. It got a bit Kon-Tiki-feeling over it Port side: Starboard side: Thank you for watching EDIT: 100th post! =D
  13. Really nice! I'm impressed how you managed to include so much details in such small MOC Great job!
  14. The rocks are really impressive! There must have been a lot of work to make them, right? Those little trees made of flower stems are also good, I might borrow that technique. The palisade are nice to, although I don't think it would stop many attackers. But it's surely good as a cattle fence I like the idea of a Castle Evolution (fits good with the Darwin anniversary this year ) and I can't wait to see the others.
  15. Well, my reason of not putting Galidor on the list is that it's a completely unknown theme to me. Before I entered Eurobricks I had never heard of it and at ths moment I can only remember that I've seen 1 picture of Galidor. From what I've heard I surely don't think it's a good theme and I agree that it's probably the worst of all. But when you haven't had any bad experience of the sets it's hard to judge them. Bionicle on the other hand has been seen on the shelves in toy stores a long time and in my opinion they are just taking up room for better lego sets. (I described my reasons of my Bionicle-hate in a previous post )
  16. The name is just close to the 1995 set which was called "Royal Knights Castle", but I do agree that this is a really bad castle. Rased baseplate, stickers, no backside, this castle have all....that you don't want
  17. Really good! That is for sure an important event! I like all the snot technique on the walls, it looks really advanced. The beggar around the corner is a nice touch to. I disagree, I think they look great as civilians.
  18. Well, in most of my LEGO catalogues there is a clear diversion between the 3 different areas of LEGO. Duplo, System and Technic. Therefore I have always treated Technic the same way as Duplo, yes it's lego, yes you can use the pieces, but why bother when there is so many good parts in System? I can admit that Technic is better than Duplo when it comes to the pieces but I still think it's a big difference between System and Technic (and IMHO Bionicle is a Technic sub-theme).
  19. Thank you! But what do you mean with that last sentence?
  20. I'll guess that means we are all a gang of Satanists.
  21. Ships, other 1a Well, instead of sleeping (as I should ) I started building on this thing. I don't have nearly enough bricks to make a decent ship for my pirates but who needs a whole ship? Here it is: It was a quite hard build and I probably used way too many pieces inside to make is steady. I could surely been made much better but I was running short of the most wanted pieces so I had to come up with different ideas all the time. The railing was the last thing I came up with and therefore it's not integrated in the hull very well (I didn't feel like breaking it apart just to fix that). Now I'm of to well deserved good night sleep.
  22. That was so good! I laughed so hard! It's a beautiful MOC with incredible humor in it. Everything is really good made and I especially like the bottle, the childish colours of the wall and the dragon baby itself. I haven't followed the contest very much but as far I've seen I rate your MOC as the best! Good luck! I hope to see more MOCs from you puddleglum, you sure got potential!
  23. Great job on that list Sandy! This will help me much in my hunt for more female minifigs. Many thanks! They are still to few
  24. I don't know what to say, except that it's fantastic! :oh: I just can't stop looking at it!
