Actually i think the tower & boat needs even more space than the platform, since the pier is pretty big and then you also have the big ship beside it. But it's your desicion i'm gonna get all sets that i'm missing sometime anyway

yep, there's no way that these already were all indiana jones sets we'll ever get. I think the line will be continued in 2009, as far as i remember there hasn't been any license line from lego that lasted for just one year.

First of all i must say, WOW that must be the most detailed thing i have ever seen! And the amount of figs it contains, that's really awesome. But i am also disappointed, where are the walls of it?! It's all open, and you can't close it. Or did i miss something?

Does anybody know what's the matter with lego.com, because the instructions aren't up yet? I'm dying to see those!

It may be rather simple yeah, but exactly that makes it so interesting. I like the idea of mocing in the style like real lego sets could look. Let's hope for someting like that for the new factory line!

Thanks very much for your thoughts! I was studying around for about an hour how to make the "handcuff", but it always turned out to have way too much pieces and a bad look in the end. Suddenly it came to my mind, why not just use a a technic brick with holes in it. I'm pretty satisfied on how it turned out and looking forward to do more mocs of the other rooms of the castle. I was looking for a good new project for a long time, and it seems now i got it.

We go further in my series of Salzburg Castle details, and the next installment is the spooky torture chamber...beware, torturing pictures ahead! Unfortunately again with bad camera light, because i mostly build nightly/in the evening, but anyway, here we go. General Overview: "Oh my god, there must be 200 meters of nothing under me!" What about a glowing sword warming your bones?... The chamber without minifigs and closed trap door: The "handcuffs" removed from the floor: I'm open for your thoughts again

I fell in love with your building style. This is just a great theme, and every new set is even better as the set before. I am also wondering what is in the box, tho Keep up the good work!

I guess that would be a life-long Project then I really wanna build the castle in full sometime (without interior though), but therefore i need much more space and even more bricks. That's gonna take a long time for sure. I'm going to add some interior pictures of the real castle later, maybe somebody else feels inspired by any of them too..cause there's definitely a few nice details! This is the "foot pump" (don't know the exact english word for it) to get air in the oven and heaten the fire, you also can see it in the photo i took at the original forge. @Wout: The Hammer is a bit big yeah, but it is about the same size as, like the one in the idea book 260 or the one in the dwarve's mine. I wanted to have a brick-built hammer too besides the normal tools, and that is the smallest i can make.

That's very strange...seems TrU is having this problem more often, with the invalid barcodes. Hopefully it'll surface at S@H soon too, cause i can't wait for this set!

I think it has been done at some point in another thread before, but anyway..this is what i got so far: 28 Crownies including The King, Princess & Good Wizard 13 Orcs includin one sand-colored and one green big one 17 Skellies including the Bad Wizard 5 Dwarves And here a few photos of the collection (the only set i'm still missing is the troll boat, which really bothers me, i can tell ya! ):

So, i always wanted to build little forge and finally i found somne time to do it..it' not big, but i kinda like how it turned out. First a picture form what inspired me to do it (well..kinda...it turnded out to look rather different ), the forge at the "Festung Hohensalzburg" i was a couple weeks ago: And as bonus a picture of the whole castle..i hope i'll be able to build this huge thing in it's full glory, sometime..but that's gonna be a long way Let me know what you think about it!
