  1. I also think the sets are good, not as good as most of the kingdoms sets, but still a solid wave of castle sets. And yes, please stop that age discussion, i think we all should know that Lego after all still is a toy company, and therefore makes products for children, no matter which age. There just happens to exist some crazy adults like us that also like these products. ;)
  2. why wouldnt they? Theyre the same person.
  3. Yes, they should sue TLG, a TOY company, for being so rude and selling childish products! Seriously, do you people even believe your own stuff you write here?
  4. Jeez, that's one big, evil tower. That's excactly how i wanted it do look like. Look at all the detailed interior! And it beeing open at the back could easily be solved by combining 2 sets i guess.
  5. And again someone critizises that a creature, that doesn't even exist in reality, doesn't look how it should...
  6. No, the PoP ones are very different. Compare it: http://cache.lego.com/media/bricks/5/2/4568956.jpg
  7. Looks to me like the faces and arms are glow in the dark aswell.
  8. The black gate opens...by magic power?!
  9. I was just about to ask that. Any information on the schedule?
  10. Could very well be it, since the modular Cinema already has been unveiled, and i don't know about any other exclusive set that we don't know of yet...
  11. As i said before, the talking about it having too much big pieces is a misbelief anyway. The biggest pieses are the wall elements, and all castles from the last few years have used those aswell, so i don't know where that's coming from.
  12. What do you mean with lazy? Actually, the sets of licensed themes always are much more detailed than "normal" sets. That's why i love most licensed themes (except PoP, cause it was a boring movie/story.
  13. The cross shaped tool must be a wheel wrench! Here's one in real life: http://www.esska.de/esska_de/bilder/lbilder/899237_1218448632_g.jpg
  14. seems there will be a set of new tools with some sets! http://www.spieletes...021Lego2013.JPG www.spieletest.at/pics/bericht/1174/020Lego2013.JPG
  15. Yeah, i don't get the comparison aswell. The only similar thing is the use of blue colour, that's it. King Leo's castle basically is just a baseplate with some towers put on it, while the new castle is an enclosed building.
  16. It's always funny when someone says what a dragon is supposed to look like, since dragons don't really exist. I guess there must be a rule or even a law that says what dragons have to look like...
  17. I don't get from where that comparison to KK always comes from. Has anyone ever compared any KK set with the pictures from this new castle. I don't see much similarities, if any, even. The castle has an enclosed structure, and looks like a solid building, unlike the KK sets which mostly looked like a thrown together mess without any real architecture design. There are not more big parts, than in any other castle from the last 5 years. The only bigger parts i can see are the wall elements, which have been used in all castles from the last 5 years, so there's no difference. The ONLY thing that looks a bit strange is the catapult, but as far as the castle itself goes, it looks like a "normal" castle to me, nothing extremely exciting, but it doesn't need to be. Also remember that the bigger castles from KK and KK2 both used raised baseplates, which this one doesn't. So please tell me, what excactly are the things that remind you of KK.
  18. Yeah i don't get that whole thing aswell. Please explain how this works or post the link to the picture!
  19. I think LotR is more compareable to Star Wars than any other licensed theme. It's a really "big" thing so to say, and there's a big fanbase of the Tolkien world, that goes far above the movies. Look how long we have star wars already...i think there's a big chance it will be similar with LotR. At least the line will continue until the last Hobbit movie is out, i think thats pretty safe to say. So at least 2 more years.
  20. Are we still talking about that picture of the catalogue page where the pictures of the sets are about as small as a thumb or did i miss anything? I mean seriously, nobody can judge ANYthing with that microscopic size pictures. I can barely tell what each sets are supposed to be and then there are people talking about animals they see or what eactly is on a shield from a figure, which is about 1 millimeter big? That's just ridiculous...
  21. LotR isn't the new castle series either, since castle continues this year with new sets.
  22. Castle fantasy era also was fantasy, and still it was in historic. :P
  23. Helm's Deep interior is nothing less than amazing. I was afraid that maybe tzhere would be not much inside, or even nothing at all, but this looks just great, i'm totally sold on that!
  24. I am shocked that people are saying that without even having seen proper pictures of the sets. I mean, all we have seen yet are some grainy prelim pictures and one or 2 small pictures from toy fair where almost no details are visible. I must say i also didn't like the sets at first sight, but we realyl haven't seen good enough pictures yet to judge anything.
  25. I guess it'll be around spring/early summer time since those are second half of the year sets.
